I made a deal with a devil. And now I’m paying for my sins.
But I have a plan to fix it…until a certain vampire gets in my way. Jamal is the epitome of tall, dark, and seductive. And he needs me (and my blood) more than he wants to admit. Too bad he’d literally rather die than be mine. However, I’m not ready to let him go…
I was born a slave. I refused to die as one.
Not even for a witch like Angel Moss. With hair like fire and a body made for sin, nothing about her lived up to her name. That right there should have been enough to warn me away, but like a moth to a flame, I’m lured into her secrets. And with the first taste of her blood, the truth slams into me like a nightmare come true.
Angel is MINE, only she isn’t taking me to heaven.
L.E. Wilson writes Paranormal Romance starring intense alpha males and the women who are fearless enough to tame them—for the most part anyway. ;) In her novels you'll find smoking hot scenes, a touch of suspense, a bit of gore, and multifaceted characters, all working together to combine her lifelong obsession with the paranormal and her love of romance.
Her writing career came about the usual way: on a dare from her loving husband. Little did they know just one casual suggestion would open a box of worms (or words as the case may be) that would forever change their lives.
Lattes and music are a necessary part of her writing process, and sometimes you'll find her typing away at her favorite Starbucks. She walks two miles to get there, to make up for all of those coffees.

Jamal is a vampire who is unhappily deciding what he wants to do with his life instead of continuing to work in the coven-owned male strip club in New Orleans. He had a steady supply of blood there as he entertained the ladies. But he was tired of it. He decided to leave his job and go out on his own, but he had promised Lizzy he would stop by her shop on the way home to get her dog’s medicine. He spots a witch coming out of the darkened shop owned by his friend, so he follows her.
Angel Moss has gotten herself and her friend, Mike, into trouble. So she made a quick stop at Lizzy’s. When she rounded a corner, he hurried to catch up, but she had disappeared. Had she known he was following? Apparently yes, since she stood behind him and asked why he was following her. He told her the truth about the favor for Lizzy, but she wouldn’t tell him why she had been there at 2 a.m. When she got home, her friend Mike was waiting and Angel showed him the dagger with runes that she had retrieved from the shop. She intended to spell it and use it on the djinn. Jamal went back to the shop but saw nothing out of place. He worried maybe a spell was left that would harm Lizzy. So instead of leaving, he unpacked so he could make sure Lizzy was safe. Would he find out what Angel was up to? Together can they keep each other safe from the bigger evil? Will they accept each other as mates? Or are things more complicated than that?
This was a good read that draws the reader in and will keep you eagerly reading until the end. The story line moves along at the perfect pace to create an intriguing, suspenseful read. These characters will quickly pull the reader into their turmoil. Grab your copy and find out if Angel can get rid of the djinn. Or will it take a little extra help from a friend?
Love it! I didn’t want to put it down and how she brings in characters from her past books is awesome. It kinda like getting updates in past characters. Would read again and U can’t wait till the next one comes out.
Wow who would have thought a vampire meeting his mate could be so hard. Jamal's resentful and about to escape when one good deed lands him with his mate. He thought she was HOT but he also knew trouble when he saw it and Angel was trouble with a capital T. She was one problem he could do without.
Who knew a pity party would endanger so many people. Angel was in trouble over her head, with no-way of getting out. On the plus side she's a vampire's mate. She just have to convince him.
This novel is a continuation of the Deathless night series as well as Into the Dark series please take the time to read these books as the back ground plot can be found in these books So enjoyed catching up on past characters . Jamal is such a tortured soul he needs some happiness in his life but unsure on how to achieve this goal. Angel needs help before its too late, the clock is almost out of time when she meets Jamal

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of Forsworn by the Vampire, the third book in the Deathless night - Into The Night series by L.E. Wilson. The story continues with Jamal and Angel finding each other. Marcus is still a threat and his continued presence has the coven and vampires on edge. Angel's secrets are about to come to light which will not only put her life in danger, but Mike and Jamal might also feel the fallout. A great read that has some resolution, but leaves an opening for the next book in the series. Action, drama, betrayal, sexy stripper vampires, steamy sex and angry witches combine to make a great story come to life. Mature Readers Only Please.

I have read each deathless night book and was so happy to see more connected to the original series. This book features a vampire who is unhappy with his existence going from a slave to being owned now by another master. His fated mate is the witch Angel, another of the moss witches who seem to bond with vampires. Angel has done things she isn't proud of but tries to right the wrong in her own way. They are drawn to each other but Jamal refuses to accept her even though her blood is his salvation. Can they come together in happiness or fall apart in death?
This woman is my favourite author with each book being my breath and lifeline to get through. I instantly loved the characters and can't help but feel bad for both of them in their struggles. Jamal's story is the background I needed to feel emotion for his difficult and stubborn ways. This author is a talented master of storytelling and romance is her perfection brought to life in text. A book that I flicked through with the speed of a vampire in my rush to take it all in. There will never be another author who can suck you in as deeply as this one with her skill and clever wordy style. A jewel of the highest quality that shines just as brightly as the pieces viewed before it.

Into the Darkness, Part 3 is… different. And not necessarily in a good way. First of all, Jamal suddenly acts like a completely different person compared to the earlier books. His behavior shifts so drastically that I kept wondering if I had missed a chapter—or if he’d been replaced by an alternate-universe version of himself. The female main character remains as annoying as ever, so no surprises there.
What is surprising is the tone of the book: there is very little romance this time around. The connection between the characters, which should have been deepening by now, feels like it has vanished completely. You absolutely cannot read this book as a standalone; you need the previous books to make any sense of what is going on.
On the positive side, the plot is solid throughout. That’s a real improvement compared to earlier parts of the series, which often drifted or fizzled out halfway through. At least this book stays on track from start to finish. But the inconsistent character behavior makes the whole experience confusing.
Overall, it’s an okay read—but definitely not a good book. The plot works, but the characters feel like strangers, which takes away a lot of the emotional weight the story could have had.

Forsworn by the Vampire (Deathless night-into the dark book 3) By L.E Wilson is a 5 ⭐️ read. Jamal is a vampire who is unhappy with his life, he feels like he’s never had his life to himself, he works in a male strip club, where he dances and feeds from women there. Just when he’s decided he’s gonna leave and be on his own he comes across a witch sneaking out of his friends store, he follows her to find out what she’s up to and never expects his life to change so much. Angel is a witch with a problem, she’s trying to save her friend but ends up betraying her coven badly. When Jamal saves her life their fate becomes entwined but can she save both of them? I love the vampires written by this author. The stories she writes are such easy reads, they take you on an amazing journey. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
Moss Witches, vampires, djinn, New Orleans, Seattle. Best enjoyed by having read earlier books in the series first.
Another mating between the witches and vamps of the New Orleans covens. This one is messier, and a lot is at stake. A good read.
Jamal [one of Killian's vamps] & his witch [Angel] have been circling each other for a little while now. And neither knows how to live well with others. As book 3 opens, I would say I had little to no fuzzy feelings for either of them. Thankfully, we learn enough to remedy that. Plus the characters themselves do develop. I wish I could say we learn more about the other characters, but that seems to be minimal this time. A couple essential issues finally come to a head and necessary stuff transpires, but we haven't resolved the central crisis here. I'm ready for that to happen, and looking forward to book 4.
This probably would’ve been three stars, except for the fact that Jamal’s character does a total 180 from previous books and the story here was not romantic at ALL.
In the first two books, Jamal is perfectly amicable. In this book, he’s suddenly an asshole to everyone. He goes from being friends with Killian to apparently hating his guts? It just doesn’t add up.
Speaking of Jamal being an asshole… their relationship was not romantic. I’m not saying everything needs to be insta-love, and I’m fine with them not getting together right away, but I was hoping at the end, there would be more of a resolution. Instead, it just kind of felt like he hated her the whole time and then agreed to be with her at the end because he literally needs to be if he doesn’t want to die.
Generally, I agree with others that this series has a lot of potential, just maybe lacking a little depth.
A Vampire With An Attitude and a Witch With A Problem
He hated his life and the ties he felt pulling at him every day, he yearned to be free and not a slave to what he had become.
Angel was his fated mate, he was in denial and had such an attitude, but Angel had her own problems and somewhere along the way, fate had got it rights and they were a perfect pairing.
This is one super entertaining, page-turning read of self-discovery amidst all the danger, action, betrayal and steam as another one of these sexy Vampire stripers accepts his fate.
The storyline pulls you into this family of vampires and I can’t wait to read the next in the series!.

I’m loving this series and this is book 3 in the Deathless Night series each book can be read as a standalone and this is Angel’s and Jamal’s story. Jamal is a vampire he’s tired of working in the strip club at least he has a good supply of blood he just wants something different in his life well he definitely gets that and more when he meets Angel who’s a witch but I will let you find that out for yourself. I loved this story and the characters and I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.
Jamal is one messed up vamp! He doesn't feel free...first of all he was born a slave and had a master..then he was turned and had another "master" of a different kind. He didn't ask to be turned but he was. Then he meets Angel the beautiful red headed witch.. Who turns out to be his mate! He doesn't want a mate! To him its another "master" ! Man he has problems! But when there's a chance that he could loose it all what will he do? Now all I should have to say is this is L.E. Wilson! That alone should tell you the story is awesome!
At the start of this novel, L.E Wilson explains that this is a continuation of a series, which I have not read. Because I had not read the previous books in this series it took me a little bit to wrap my head around what was happening at times. But regardless of this, it was an enjoyable book and I found the characters easy to like. This is an almost enemies to lovers romance as Jamal and Angel navigate their differences.
Forsworn by the Vampire is book 3 in the Deathless Night-Into the Dark series and is better understood if you've read the first two books before it due to the series arc.
The plot was intriguing and well paced. World building continues to excel and impress. The characters were dark, complex and complicated. Great addition to the series. Highly recommend.

This was the first book I've read by this author, but I loved it. Great world building, interesting characters. The plotline drew me in immediately. I found Jamal more interesting as a character. His emotion and pain really wrenched my heart. As much as I was sympathizing with Jamal in this book, I was also intrigued with Angel's predicament. I'm looking forward to the next book. 5 stars.
I really enjoyed reading this book! I can see this series and the one before it becoming addictive as I have to go back and read the rest now! It was great seeing Angel & Jamal working towards their continuing relationship amidst all the other events happening! This is book 3 in the Deathless Night - Into the Dark series and is another exciting entry. Jamal and Angel become intertwined and fated but they each fight the fates. The right mix of action, paranormal, intrigue, danger, and love make this a great entry.

Jamal has a lot of things to work out. Now he will have his Mate to maybe help him with this. I know the rest of the Vamps will want to help if they can. I don't know what Angel's problem is but maybe they can work on that also. Very good story.
Another fantastic read from L E Wilson. Jamal and Angels story was an emotional and bumpy ride from beginning to end. Couldn't put it down. Definetely recommend you give the series a go.
