I freaking LOVE this story! It’s so amazingly well written. And at every point it’s not wasted with unnecessary filler. Everything is useful to the story.
The flashbacks are exactly that, flashes. Not endless chapters of useless page count. Each brief look was followed by the current version of events going differently and ending with better results.
I also loved the author’s wit in the story. She was litely sarcastic, and I love all sarcasm when you can identify it. Some writers can’t pull it off but this author can and does it wonderfully.
I also agree with the overall theme of this story. You can’t eat love. You have to provide for yourself, housing, food, clothing, pay your bills, all your basic necessities, before you sacrifice yourself for the love of someone else. Because if that love fails you or doesn’t reciprocate or disappears, then what do you have left?? You have to respect yourself first. Provide for yourself first. Then if you’re lucky, you will find a good person worthy of you and your love who will meet you halfway. It’s a partnership and both people need to bring something to the table.
I also liked how she noted that the love of children was a sacrifice as well and shouldn’t be undertaken when you are already at a deficit of life stability and not with the intention that they will eventually (hopefully) be able to contribute to the family as adults, somewhere in the unsure future. So yes, get yourself in order before bringing other people into the world, especially if you are failing the ones you already have in your life now, young or old.
Anyway, I’m rereading it now. I wish I could share my favorite highlights but since this is still on wattpad it would be too much to do that. I hope this author publishes this story because I would love a hard copy of this story and I would love to show my support of their craftsmanship financially.

A fun little Wattpad read. I always enjoy a good travel back in time/redo story. Who doesn’t wish they could go back in time with more knowledge! I liked how this one did the brief flashbacks throughout the story.

September 24, 2023I have always been a bookworm. Reading all types of books in search of the perfect fantasy to create my own world in. İ thought that i couldn't find 'my' book until i came across this one. Avaleon........ what can i say...in my opinion the most talented writer ever. At first i was a little hesitant about this book but then i read the small description and decided to give it a try.... and ever since then i have completed this book 8 times with the same enthusiasm if not more. Realistic events that it not likely to be impossible to take place in real life. Even if it has a fantastical twist you will soon find your self indulged in this piece of mastery and true penmanship. İ am so glad i found you "i can't eat love" i will never ever forget about you. İf anyone is hesitant to give this book a try let me just assure you that you are most definitely wasting your time worrying it is a remarkable book so if you are holding yourself back let it loose don't miss the chance of this book i HİGHLY recommend this book...... trust me....

The story is absolutely amazing and I have reread this countless times. Wish the story continued the same way Lenora was portrayed at the beginning without the humour and comedy but I did love quirky Henry so it’s forgiven. Lenora was a force to be reckoned with. Whenever I feel down I’d return to her story. How tough and strong she is and how she rebuilt her Duchy. While it would’ve been great if she remained a heartless badass it’s humane to seek comfort and love from her found family and I adore Nate as well and loved their relationship and how not for a moment Nate doubted Lenora. The writing could be improved but the plot was absolutely amazing ♥️ And it’s not too often I reread the same story over the years

Read it 2years ago..Basically my friend recommended it & I am grateful to her for recommending this masterpiece.. It was the bestest transmigrantion story that I've ever read..Truly had me in tears..Especially how the bonus chapters potrayed the emotions of each & every character...No doubt it's a great story as you not only feel for the mls but also the villian..

this book is phenomenal. i read this a year ago or so on wattpad and just recently went back to reread it. i forgot how truly interesting the story is and how much i loved it. it’s so engaging and the concept is so well thought out. i loved seeing lenora get a second chance to get her life right. seeing lenora grow into a loving character who will do anything for her family, friends, and duchy is so beautiful. even though she says how she is selfish and only does everything she does for herself, she truly shows that she cares so deeply for those around her. she deserves so much.

I absolutely love reading this book. The characters and humour is nothing less than a chef's kiss. In fact, I keep coming back every year for the past 4 years. Sometimes even twice a year. I love it. I remember messaging the author who kindly referred me to the ao3 version so I could download it. It's an amazing book. I'm so happy it's here on GoodReads too!!!

This was really good. Did everything go her way? Pretty much, but instead of seeming trite it was refreshing. It was great to see her win through intelligence and hard work. It's an uplifting story. I definitely recommend it.

the author was good playing with my emotions. the antagonists made me feel furious as ever and i didn't like how dense the fl was but it was understandable as what she had experienced in her previous life. the storyline was great. and the ml is a walking GREEN FLAG.

I read this on Wattpad and absolutely loved it. Has a very YA feel to it- clean and humorous. It was a delightful read as you watch the main character get her second chance to make right the last 5 years of her life so that she doesn't make the same mistakes. She has reasons to avoid love and trust for most of the people in her life.
I enjoyed the plot, the humor, the idea of going back to fix your mistakes, and watching a person who has been hurt before learn where the boundaries should and shouldn't be. 5 Stars- I would love a physical copy of this- if the author ever has it published.

no words. reread it too many times to count. comfort book and never gets old and such a well written villain. other than that, a lot of Wattpad books I used to like got lowkey cringe after having ventured out and reading actual good books, but this absolutely didn't, will always hit the spot like no other. Also texted with the author a bit, such a kind person.

I’ve re-read this book for like the hundredth times and I still love it as though it is the first time I’ve read it 🫶
I don’t think I’ll ever find a book like this! It’s definitely my favourite book and 5 stars isn’t enough. The book is a Wattpad book and is not published, I’m praying one day it will be! The characters are all in-depth with some serious back stories apart from the prince he was just an idiot. If you have read it, you know which one I’m talking about. The plot twists in this book will take you completely by surprise. If you like the journey of a weak female main character who builds herself up to an absolute badass this is the book for you.
The story follows Lenora who has her life destroyed by the people closest to her. She decides to change her fate and refuses to let them win but this time things are different. She refuses to let love be her downfall again, she wants security and power and marriage isn’t on the cards.
Rig, Merile and Hallers are the perfect found family and will do anything to protect Lenora. I love them all so much and how they never gave up on her.
This is one of those books you wish you could read for the first time. If you’re feeling like your in a bit of a reading slump or just feeling down. I would definitely recommend reading it.
Nate and Lenora will always have a special place in my heart 🫶

Straight five-star read for me. All the characters were amazing, and the story was amazing. Books like this make me wanna read Wattpad books more. Hope we can get this book in paperback as well. Thanks to Vie Alex for recommending this book.
