Flamingo Cove #4

Jingle Bells & Shotgun Shells

Rate this book
From Amazon best-selling author Dawn Dugle... the hilarious conclusion to Wysdom Ward's love story.

One Happily Ever After coming right up - with a side of snark.

Just when I think my happily ever after is within reach, I find out I’m accidentally married.

To make matters worse, a serial killer is blackmailing me into tracking down an antique shotgun stolen from his family.

Not only am I eleventy-million months pregnant, but now I’ll have to track down gun dealers, pawnbrokers, and a very eccentric “collector” to find the item. Did I mention dodging lions and landmines in the process?

I finally get things under control, but a welcome home party leads to a major misunderstanding, and my family is ripped away from me.

The bad guys misjudged my willingness to do whatever it takes to get my family back, including using my “delicate condition” to take them down.

Must be Thursday.

FYI: This book contains smokin’ hot love scenes, violence against ex-husbands, and a hilarious finale to make you cheer. Recommended for ages 18+.

I am here. for. this. book. Wysdom is my spirit animal.

In Jingle Bells, Wys is eleventy-million months pregnant. With twins.. On top of learning some new judo moves to heave herself out of... really any position at this point she has a death row felon blackmailing her to find his missing shotgun for his son.

Oh, and an accidental HUSBAND she has to track down so she can marry her God Among Men.

My girl has got some mad time management skills. With her family on the line, Wysdom's PMI is at an all time high.

I loves this story from its first hilarious page to its last twist. Sassy, steamy, and hilarious, it will leave you gasping with every turn of the page.

4.0 is an A+

Dawn Dugle’s Flamingo Cove universe gets better with each installment. Wysdom and Luke are classic. Christmas definitely came early this year.

Wysdom Ward's happily ever after has finally arrived!
Well, almost.

She just has a few loose ends to tie up first.
Like her accidental second husband.
When did she marry that guy?
Luke's taking things pretty well, considering.

Book four wraps up the initial story arc of Wysdom and her God Among Men.
I promise - one HEA with a side of snark, coming right up.

Happily Ever After…maybe

Love me some Wysdom and Luke. They’re finally getting married! That’s until after she divorces her accidental second husband! But she’s got to find him first. A few things Wysdom needs to check off her to-do list before ties the knot including getting rid of the serial killer whom insists she owes him a favor. She can’t seem to shake the feeling that something is off. And it’s stressing her out! Something her Dr continues to tell her NOT to do while carrying her twins. The constant reminder throughout the book of how much slower she moved, bigger she was, and “geriatric” in her pregnancy nagged me. It was just a little too much. Like okay, I get it. Yup she sat in another chair and yes she’s going to need help up…yet again… that was it. Everything else was great. Love cracking of the codes and having such a die hard team of family and friends solving the impossible.

Now on to the next series

What a ride

l enjoyed all of the books. Kept me laughing and holding my breath at the same time to read what comes next. Cost me a lot of sleep S l couldn't put it down till finished and then had to wait for the next one. These books will go into my reread pile to enjoy over and over again. On pins and needles for the next one. Please don't keep us waiting for the next one to long please

funny and mysterious

This series is romantic, mysterious and funny. An odd combination, but works perfectly. I was guessing what was going to happen next, while laughing at Wysdom. I am going to write down some of the sayings on Dix’s t-shirts as I may have a few of my own made. Luke and Wysdom are definitely made for each other. Glad they finally got their HEA!

This series has become one of my favorites

It has everything, memorable characters. A great plotline, and a spin off to read. It made me laugh and cry. Such a sense of family and friends. I am moving on to the sister's books, but I want more of Luke and Wysdom and family.

What a great final book for the 4 books series ... (Hopefully, there will be more?) Following Wysdom and her crew is so much fun, though heart-pounding and emotional sometimes as well! The sass is fun, and so is the mystery! Really enjoyed this!

Great continuation!

This book is without a doubt my favorite so far. Tempurpedic, Lake Lure, and Chimney Rock are just a few reasons. The characters truly act as a family with the banter. Love it!

Background story is a little better than previous one, but still I have the feeling that the development was weak. The personal relationship goes deeper into the cliche, and we have far too many repetitive expressions ( god among men, alpha male behavior, pocket size hacker., rolling eyes…)
