The Sailing Snailor : A Rhyming Mermaid Tale
The sailing snailor is a captain on a nautical ocean adventure as he battles a giant octopus with his starfish sidekick, Sam. He's no Jack Sparrow, Blackbeard, or scraggly pirate, but he must save the love of his life; a mersnail (mermaid) that waits to be rescued from the bottom of the sea. Sam and the Snailor save the helpless mersnail by removing a sea spiny urchin from the giant octopus's bum. After the damsel in distress is released, she swims to the Snailors side and they live happily ever after as they watch a beautiful beach view sunset.
This book has a rhyme on every page, which is catchy for young children and enables memory through phonics. Phonics is a method of teaching people to read by correlating sounds with letters or groups of letters in an alphabetic writing system. Teaching phonics and rhyming to a child develops their phonological awareness skills – which play an important part of becoming a good reader.

Great rhyming tale of a snail and mermaid.
I loved this book about Snailor and Snermaid's under the sea adventure. The illustrations were vibrant and flowed nice with the rhymes. The names of the characters are cute and whimsical. I suggest this book for your little sailor at home.

Snailor and a lovely mermaid is a beautiful story book that captures that heart of children. It sure is a beautiful happy story. I like how the author uses rhymes to tell the story and she brings a sailor and a princess together similar to the Little Mermaid tale. Children will enjoy reading this book and it's full of colours. Thank you for writing this book.

A must-read!
Great rhyming book. The story is well written and very interesting to read. The illustrations are so beautiful too and the wordsearch made the book even more enjoyable. I highly recommend to check it out!

Great story and beautiful illustrations!
What a fun and cute story about the sea, written in rhyme with beautiful illustrations! I love that the author is also the illustrator...very talented. Kids will also enjoy the activity and coloring pages at the end.

I cute little story about a snail and his love. The rhyming lines of this story keeps the reader engaged and wanting to read more. I also particularly like how the last word in each line is highlighted in blue to bring children's attention to the rhyme. The author also discusses the importance of rhyming and language learning. Overall a great book!!

A Beautifully Illustrated Story
Loved both the rhymes and the story. It was nice to see that there really wasn’t a bad octopus, only a bad situation. It’s perfect for little ones. The illustrations were beautiful.

This is a fun rhyming story about a sailor snail with a happy ending. Loved the mermaids too. The illustrations are really nice and colorful. I read this book on KU to a 6-year-old and we enjoyed the story very much. Good job by the author. Get it today to have some fun rhyming read!
