When I caught a glimpse of Bunny, I knew she was the one. From that chance meeting, I created an entire life just for her. She’s right at home with me, both of us cuddling by a fire at our expansive cabin or going for a boat ride on our private lake.
She’s so happy here with me … Or, she will be. Once I kidnap her and bring her home, I’ll show her how much she means to me. And when she realizes the lengths I’ll go to just to make her happy, she’ll see our love is real. Her mouthy cat notwithstanding, Bunny is everything I’ve ever wanted.
With Bunny, it’s a fresh start for me. But maybe I should’ve kept a closer eye on my past because when old business associates come calling, the danger isn’t far behind.

I believe this was on kindel Vella now on KU!! Which is cool.. I do wish Bunny put up more of s fight when she was kidnapped by Slade who was "Ted".

Slade has been obessed with Bunny since he saw her one day and made this whole world for her now its time to take her there.. and the kidnapping is simple because she was drunk.. now hidden and locked away with her cat and stalk she accept it... like I said I wish she would atleast get him to grovel on the whole lied to me kidnapping Slade did seem sorry but he didn't regret doing it also he can hear Bunny's Cats thoughts?? So yeah.

There is drama from a ex boss for Slade but it was super fast.. a quick read..

No ow/om drama (unless you count that work meeting), no cheating, Drama, sexy times, both virgins

“Crazy Love” is the story of Bunny and Slade.

A fun read about a hero hiding secrets, a sweet heroine who gets kidnapped, a talking cat, loads of spy drama and a cute HEA. The story was average but the rating is mainly due to the added bits of humor with the very witty and grumpy Salem like kitty- which was an element of surprise!

This book reads like a 12 year old who just discovered porn and here is why

•guy kidnaps girl, girl gets upset for one page then claims she falls in love with him while knowing him for 2 days (not exaggerating)
•guy gets brain injury a year ago from being a hitman, can now talk to girls cat.
•girl gets brain injury after bad guys come after them, girl can now also talk to cat.
•sex

This book was like 100 pages or something and all of it legit was the weirdest thing I have ever read

For sure, my favorite part of this story was the first half where you see how absolutely crazy Slade is for Bunny. I love a good psycho stalker story.

I thought it could have used a little more steam.

Adding in the fact that he can hear her cat talk was funny, unexpected, and just highlighted his crazy.

Crazy love de MINK


Argumento:

Cuando miré a Bunny, supe que ella era la indicada. A partir de ese encuentro casual, creé toda una vida solo para ella.

Ella está en casa conmigo, ambos acurrucados junto al fuego en
nuestra gran cabaña o dando un paseo en bote por nuestro lago privado.

Está tan feliz aquí conmigo... O lo estará. Una vez que la secuestre y la lleve a casa, le mostraré lo mucho que significa para mí. Y cuando se dé cuenta de lo lejos que llegaré solo para
hacerla feliz, verá que nuestro amor es real. A pesar de su gato bocón, Bunny es todo lo que siempre he querido.

Con Bunny, es un nuevo comienzo para mí. Pero tal vez debería haber vigilado más de cerca mi pasado, porque cuando los viejos socios comerciales vienen a reclamar, el peligro no se queda atrás.





Mí humilde opinión:

Slade, un ex ejecutor de la mafia se fija en bunny y se enamora a tal punto que con otra identidad se convierte en su vecino para cuidarla mientras termina los últimos detalles para secuestrarla. El tipo le construyó la cabaña de sus sueños dónde la mantendrá encerrada y le dará todo lo que desea. Pero sus planes se arruinan cuando su pasado mafioso lo alcanza poniendo a los dos en peligro de muerte. Siiiii y la historia se vuelve aún más loca como bien pone el título.

Hay algo de acción y momentos calientes. Las charlas entre Walter el gato y Slade me hicieron reír pero que él pudiera escuchar los pensamientos del gato y luego también Bonny? Era muy raro.

Bunny ponía la cuota de cordura aquí y me hubiera gustado verla luchar más contra Slade pero la dulce locura de él finalmente la alcanzó. Cómo no amar a un hombre que solo quiere cuidarte y hacerte feliz?

Al final no me quedó claro si Slade utilizó su lesión en la cabeza para decir que ya no era útil para así salir de la mafia o fingió su muerte?

Una lectura corta, sexy y entretenida, a pesar de lo exagerado y loco.

It wasn’t bad but it really wasn’t good. I like the MMC & the cat. The FMC was boring and really not much to her. She had a boring life, a boring outlook on things, and she was conveniently a naive virgin orphan. I highly doubt people escape the foster care/orphanage system as naive virgins. Smdh. The FC was simply a page filler and not worth reading about. Which basically made this whole book worthless. No matter how much I liked the MC. I would also like a book for Kerrig.

This author can and does write good stories so why she failed to flesh out this one I don’t know. It really could have been so much better. Anyway, the cat thing in all this author’s books are usually the best parts. And as usual, they are never enough. Lol. I won’t read this book again, and that’s my definition of a good book. Good luck.

I mean apart from the obvious fact that this dude literally kidnapped her, he's got some serious underlying problems that he should worry about.

I think the real thing he needs is ✨therapy✨.

I mean this book was simultaneously so sweet, and genuinely concerning at the same time. This man could no joke talk to cats and I don't know how to feel about that.

This was just a fun and quick read. No, but seriously Slade, please see a therapist, I'm begging you.

There’s a whole lot of crazy in this story! Slade is crazy in love with Bunny and Bunny is crazy in love with Slade, even though she’s behind Slade a bit. The dialogue with Walter the cat is the best!

Stalker, mafia enforcer, kidnapped, sweet

This was a cute quick read.
-Instalove- the H sees her one day and BOOM he knows.
-Stalker-ish H: he basically manipulates things to be near her, buys the house next to her, camera in her home, breaks in and Etc. Not overly stalkerish but just a little that it’s enough to fill that spot
-Obsessive & possesive: Bunny is his life. He wants to keep her safe and protected but he doesn’t let anyone or anything happen to her. Her boss tries to be a sleaze ball, and he handles that. He has learned everything about her. He spends a year in the shadows of her life
-H is an ex mafia enforcer: he tries to leave the life the day he sees Bunny and knows he has to change for her. There’s a little mafia drama that is the “main event” of this book.
-Kidnapping: he spends a year planning everything so he can kidnap her until she sees their perfect together. He is honestly so Romantic. Builds her the perfect dream house she’s always wanted, fills it with her fav things
-h is a naive, sweet thing.
-H & h are BOTH V-card carriers
-slow burn in the sense that no Smexy until like 70%. There is tension and some oral happening a bit before hand but honestly I didn’t mind this. It’s not super steamy AT ALL.

Was it the best? No, some of the storyline didn’t make sense like in one part, he says he faked his death to get outta the mafia, then another said he faked that his injury was keeping him from doing his job to get out. He spent a year prepping to take Bunny but idk that just felt like forever but maybe he was waiting for the house to be built? Idk…

The story felt a bit shallow and it wasn’t really steamy, which was disappointing but it worked and it has a nice stalker vibe which i ALWAYS love 💕

Magical Mink

Wowwwzzzz!!! Yet another slam dunk from mink! This one has a wild funny twist with her ever-present cat theme that had me cracking up the whole time.

Also, can I just stop and gape in amazement how this author can take morally dubious heroes and make them 100% swoon? This one show cases a stalker.

And, double bonus, double virgins! It just can’t get any better.

I love MINK, and this is a favorite of hers! (I read it countless times but I want to update my review since I just reread it)

Slight unwanted OM/OW (Unwanted OM, her boss wants her. Unwanted OW, his neighbor wants him and tries to seduce him. Both do not like or want attention of others and reject it! This happens at the very beginning and we don't get any OM or OW drama after that. LOVE THAT!!)

No separation (our hero is a strong willed alpha, he would never allow it!)
HEA

Give me all the alpha, stalker, kidnapping, OTT, hulking cinnamon roll with his eyes only for our adorable, sweet, lovable heroine. This is what I look for in my romances, a faithful, obsessed hero who will do anything for our heroine, and of course, Walter the cat steals the show. Him having back and forth with Walter and his sassy remarks will leave you in stitches with laughter! You'll see....*wink*
So Bunny is Ted's neighbor and after a dinner she felt forced to go to with her boss, she wakes up in a strange bed that is not hers. She finds that she was kidnapped by Ted, and even though she is attracted to him, she is apprehensive at first, but this gentle sweet man who is so far gone for her does everything to make her comfortable. He is all hers and she is all his, and their relationship is sweet and so endearing. He is an obsessed, sweet cinnamon roll, and she is a sassy but ditsy, lovable heroine you just want to protect, so their dynamic is very kawaii to me.When she gets distracted or mad, I imagine a hissing kitten with all her claws out looking just too cute for words. There are sequences of events that unfold things that are revealed, but worry not, it is not angsty. It is a very enjoyable read. You will sigh at our swoon worthy hero, and be envious of Bunny for sure (at least I am). But Bunny deserves love and so does our hero. This is a very pleasant read and I will not put any quotes, I want you to read this little gem for yourselves and fall in love with it as fast as I did. I think you will really like it!
I love it! I already read it countless times, I just reread it, and plan to reread it again and again. I never tire of it.

And crazy fun, too. I couldn't believe the hilarious turn of events when the hot neighbour puts his plan into motion to kidnap the sweet girl next door.

They are equally adorable and made for each other. Love and lust blooms between them because, let's be honest, who doesn't want a giant man who offers the girl all her dreams on a silver platter?

Okay, he might be a little on the crazy side as her cat can testify and his old, slightly mobster boss is angry enough to claim, but love and amazing bedtimes deserve a leap of faith.

I had a great time with this novella. It's funny, unexpected, packs lots of action and even some cat talk that will delight you. I dare you not to laugh when you read that part!

Bunny and Slade

In my eyes, Mink can do no wrong. This is another great read packed with action, some intrigue and a lot of crazy. Slade fell in love at first sight and is now determined to make Bunny fall in love with him which somehow involved kidnapping. Highly recommended.

This was another stalker romance, except their relationship starts with him kidnapping her.
It’s hot. It’s surprisingly sweet. It’s a little over the top in some aspects. Especially Bunny’s innocence and naivety. But I’ve noticed that basically all of MINK’s FMCs are exactly that same way. A little too innocent to be real.
Not a terrible thing. It sort of reminds me of how some authors write Littles when they’re in little space but in a more subtle way.
Also. All of MINK’s books involve cats in some way. And I think the way this book incorporated cats is the best she’s ever done.
Slade can hear Walter talk to him.
I know. It’s amazing. That cat has attitude. And throughout the entire book, you’re never sure if it’s just Slade being extra crazy or if he actually Can talk to the little asshole. It’s great. I need more of that dynamic in my life. There should be something like that in every book. Ever. Doesn’t even have to be a cat. Just the questionably crazy talking to an animal or even some inanimate object. Like Bob in the Dresden Files. I need more of it.
Anyway.
I enjoyed reading this. It was quick. It was sweet-ish..
It had the double virgin trope.
It was full of possessive, obsessive testosterone.

It’s hit or Miss for me with MINK’s writing. But this was one of the better ones.

I didn't think the Hero talking to the pet cat would bother me, considering people speak to their pets all the time. But then the cat started talking back, and I couldn't get past it. The book's plot is already asking me to ignore quite a bit – the romanticization of pretty scary stalking and peeping Tom behaviour of the Hero. But the talking cat pushed the book from OTT to plain silly.

I adore this author, she cant do anything wrong in my world. She delivers a steam filled read, that has all the elements I crave.
Fun, relatable characters. A story though short, what she manages to pack within those pages is swoon-worthy.
Seriously I've read full length books that don't even have a fraction of the feels that this author does.
If you haven't read MINK you need to add her to your list.

Slade has been biding his time as Bunny’s neighbor, waiting for the right opportunity to kidnap her. But just as Slade finally gets her in his clutches, Slade’s shady criminal past comes knocking. It’s a race to see whether he can move beyond his roots and pursue a future with Bunny — before he gets himself killed.

You already know this one’s going to be over the top because the hero literally kidnaps the heroine. I was cool with it. The characters were fine. Steam factor was lower, as is typical for MINK, but a little more descriptive than usual.

Not sure if I would keep this. Prolly not.
