"Wild Love" is the fourth book in the rejected mate romance, series, Real Wolves Bite by C.R. Jane and Mila Young.
It is also the eleventh book in the multi-author series,
Kingdom of Wolves.

REAL WOLVES BITE continues . . .

The stranger in town whispers promises of heaven . . . but in his eyes, all I see is chaos.

For most of my life I’d been cursed. Trapped in a gilded cage by my fated mate . . .

Everything changed when I escaped and met two men who gave me their hearts.
Wilder and Daxon are my everything . . . even if they don’t see eye to eye on sharing me.

Things should have been amazing.
But maybe I wasn’t meant for a happy ending.

My world is falling apart. Between losing friends, more deaths in town, mysteries I can’t solve, and one of my lovers betraying me . . .

It feels like I’m losing everything.

Amidst all of this, there’s a stranger in town who’s set his sights on me, and I can’t figure him out. He’s everywhere I am, and the problem is, I can’t seem to resist him.

Loving two men has been hard enough.

But maybe all wild loves require sacrifice to keep them.

The question is . . . how far am I willing to go to keep mine?

I'm over this series, 4 books in and we still know barely anything. Talk about dragging a story out into surplus gratuitous books!

Cant bring myself to read book 5.

I was going to read the other series of the authors but after this one no chance.

quick read

This book introduced so many more twists and turns I don’t know which way is up or down. I’m never a fan of the 11th hour male and we get one of those in this book.

This book felt like the story just kept circling the drain and didn’t actually go anywhere.

It felt like Wilders “favor” being cashed in by Daria was really so they could have more page space for Ares. Daxon and her kinda lost their substance and I kept hoping for it to come back, but it was all about se*.

This book left me with more questions than answers and little connection to the characters that I though was growing from the previous book.

Holy Vampires !

ARE YOU KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW!?

I thought I had Ares all figured out. I thought dang, what is this? Eat your heart out Wilder and Dax...But man, was I wrong.

This book had me on the edge of my seat. I wanted to hope everything with Rae was a bad dream. When it was confirmed, my heart broke for Miyu. Rune stayed strong despite all the stuff thrown at her, much like she has with the entire series and just continued to help her friend whenever she could, even when she was the one getting hurt.

This book also confirmed that my hatred for Daria is alive and well. LOL. Also, Daxon is a bit of a creepy sweetheart and I love it. Wilder is a broken soul who needs some more love asap. And Ares....I thought I had him all figured out, but who knows. These authors are throwing me left and right and I'm not sure where the story is going now.

We got breadcrumbs of Rune's history and I need more so bad! This story is starting to sizzle so much with Rune and her guys and I'm enjoying that they love her so much. Possessive Alpha males are the best.

I love this series so much. Can't wait to read the next book.

*Overall 5/5
*Heat? 5/5
*First person POV
*MFM M? Trope??
*Ends on cliffhanger

Life is complicated in the small, private town that Rune now calls home. The killings have now stopped, for now, but everyone is acting offer than normal. Rune’s friend Miyu, is devastated that her mate is gone, and is searching for answers, acting suspicious as well.
And the ghosts are circling Rune, wanting to tell their stories. Rune doesn’t feel safe in this town, and she’s considering leaving. Her wolf is conflicted, and she wonders is her loves are still hers.

This book is fast paced. Every book in this series that I lock up, I reach the end asking myself how there are no more pages. I flip at the end and yell. This book was no different. Things are heating up even more, the bread crumbs are laid out. Rune’s past is starting to catch up to her, and she’s starting to sleep walk and questions who her family really was. This stranger in town that everyone seems to love is dangerous, but only Daxon and Wilder seem to be unaffected by his charms. They want him gone, away from Rune. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be that easy.

I threw my phone at the end of the book, and I wasn’t ready for it to end. I’m questioning everything in the best of ways, asking when we can get the next book.

Let’s be real Daxon in all his psycho glory is the star this time around. Rune while I absolutely adore her needed to whoop that a$$ when it came to Wilder that man JFC I wanted to murder him and Daria needs to get what’s coming to her times 10 make it freaking painful because lord know I was gut punched on multiple occasions. Then enter this mysterious stranger that everyone include Rune is instantly drawn to although there are a few that are not happy about his presence to say the least. This was one wild AF ride that let us with one hell of a hangover at that cliffy! Prepare yourself for one amazing roller coaster ride packed full of all the things and every emotion possible.

This was such a great installment and while we get lots of info to sort out some of the mysteries, there are so many twists woven into the story that I about got whip-lash. Lol! There was also a serious dose of grief, betrayal and love. Altogether, it had me glued to my reader and I can't wait for the next book ;D

This is a great series and this fourth book is a fab continuation of said series! Once again the gripping story just grabs you and makes you feel a whole range of emotions as you jump back on that rollercoaster ride. Lots going on, twists and turns to keep you spinning, new characters and an exciting storyline that keeps you hanging on especially after that ending! Love Rune and I cannot wait to see where the final book takes us!

I really struggled to finish this one. I feel like for the most part there has been little to no story progression. I don’t feel like I have any investment in the relationships. Moving on from this series for now.

This book was so dumb. Things are getting convoluted. The story line was plenty interesting with Rune learning about her lineage and repressed Wolf and trying to keep away from her abusive ex, while navigating new relationships and a town serial killer. Instead of getting any answers about Rune’s wolf or lineage we get more complications. These books are way too short to be packing this much in them. We’ve completely lost the most important story line which in my opinion is Rune discovering herself and her wolf. Now on top of all the things I’ve already mentioned they’ve added a jealous Fae Queen who’s come to curse both Wilder and Rune. So Rune’s wolf is suppressed…again…for the third time. There’s a vengeful ghost/the guys crazy ex trying to burn Rune to a crisp. Which didn’t really make sense…she’s a ghost how did she seal a house and set it on fire? Then there’s another new character that is clearly a vampire but for some god forsaken reason Rune thinks she’s dreaming when he sucks her blood. In book one I gave this character a lot of grace for being blind to what was right in front of her because she had just gone through a traumatic event and was purposely turning a blind eye. But now, I think she’s just an idiot. She makes really bad decisions and I’m losing interest in this convoluted story.

Hmmm

If I could, I’d rate this 4.5 stars. I think it’s better than 4 but not a true 5.
I enjoyed it but it gave me such bad anxiety. It also made me cranky when the female lead character was being hurt. She can’t catch a break. Seriously. I found there wasn’t much balance happening in regards to the many hurtful things said and done to her (best friend and one of her alphas), to something truly positive that ended in her being so happy she was on cloud nine. She was taken at the end of the last book by her fated mate, the one that rejected her after a simple blood test compatibility. No one explained why her fated mate rejected her. He treated her worse than anything, tortured her really. The abuse she suffered, constantly being told she’s worthless. No better than a slave. She finally got the courage to leave. She also took her fated mates eye and cut off his hand so she could get into the safe to grab money. After weeks on the run, she’s run off the road and crashes on the side of a mountain which is why she ended up in Amorak. She eventually finds out the town is full wolf shifters. Very few ppl warm to her. The two alphas one from each pack pursue her. She struggles to beleive their words, and throughout the first few books, they struggle with jealousy, fear, and come to terms that she can’t choose between the two. Her mother, (who turns out not to be her birth mother) comes through and breaks her out of her fated mates place at the cost of her own life. It was heart breaking to read the female lead characters thoughts and emotions, but her mom showed up to help her when she felt so betrayed by her moms promise that her fated mate would make her so blissfully happy. When it was the exact opposite. It allowed the female lead character to forgive her betrayal. Which I felt helped balance out her moms part in the story.
I was so upset with Wilder for saying those hurtful things to her. Breaking her heart once again with rejecting her. When all she’s done is be honest and open to them. Even at the detriment to her heart that was already broken from her fated mate. She let him in, and one moment she was his everything and the next she was nothing but bad breath. Throughout this heartbreak in this book as this happened after she was brought back to Amorak from her kidnapping, ppl are still being murdered by a mysterious thing tjay doesn’t leave a scent. Daxon catches the cook about to murder someone else and Rune catches Daxon torturing him. Rae, bites Rune, which is when Daxon chops his head off. (Rae is the cook and the mate to her best friend). Her best friend is distraught, and continuously betrays Ruin, with accusations, screaming fits, truth potions given in the forms of coffee all because she thought Rune was having an affair with him. Rune continuously meets up with her, forgives her, and plows on trying to be the supportive best friend she thinks she is. Her friend is grieving so she let it go. It got a bit old for me actually. At the end her friend comes around and believes her when she said she never once thought of Rae as anything other than her coworker and mate to her best friend. Wilder turns out he’s been spelled by his ex fling Daria the Fae queen. She claimed her favor in the form of a kiss after Wilder said all those heart breaking rejection. As long as she was touching him the love charm would be strong, but if she wasn’t touching him it would wear off sorta, he would get confused, unsure why he always found himself staring at her window at the inn in the evenings. She invites him up one night and have a wild night n she wakes up n he’s gone. Daxon realizes he’s under a love charm and stabs the Fae queen, she “runs off with her tail between her legs”. It allows Daxon to bring Wilder to a lake with healing properties which dispels the remainder of the charm. Rune takes him back instantly, water under the bridge and all that. Rune is a complete push over in this book, consistently forgiving anyone, n also not being honest with anyone with her apparent sleepwalking dreams. Being bitten by the handsome charming new fellow that seems to have won over every single occupant in Amorak. Which is strange because everyone was suspicious of her when she arrived. Yet everyone is falling over themselves to talk to him. Rune pushes him away claiming to be with her two alphas but she feels drawn to him. She also felt guilty thinking it was a dream that he saved her from a shadow red eyed monster in a creepy wolf form. She wakes up in her bed confused and hides her feelings pretending everything is fine. Which totally was the worst thing she could do. He came back from the dead. Her 2 alphas poisoned him then chopped his head off n threw him to the pigs. The guy then proceeds to tell Rune the next day she’s cursed with a clamping spell on her transformation when the Fae queen cloaked her scent from the hybrid hunter. He took her to his hybrid friends. I hope she makes it out alive and grows a backbone.

I wrote this review on the whole series after reading Wild Kiss (the six and maybe(?) final book) so there are some spoilers in it after my warning of the series being incomplete.

I always check to make sure a series is complete before I read it so I thought "Cool, it's safe to start" when I saw this at the top of the final book listed: "Wild Kiss is the sixth and final book in the rejected mate romance, series, Real Wolves Bite by C.R. Jane and Mila Young."

For anyone reading this who is wondering if it's true - it's not. The book ends on a cliffhanger, was published quickly after the first five (so the one after it should have been out years ago) and I've dug deep, but all I can find is the authors saying "it's coming soon" for years while releasing a ton of other books in that time (I know writing individual books is different than when you're writing with a partner, but at some point y'all need to get together and finish the series you wrote too), and apparently putting up pre-orders then taking them down again multiple times if the complaints are to be believed. It wouldn't be so bad if they ended this one on a note where you could feasibly think it was wrapped up, but they do the opposite. It ends on a huge cliffhanger and people are rightly pissed about it.

Outside of that, Rune's story personal story away from the RH is interesting and thankfully the RH plays a very small part in the overall books, but I feel like we're just going around in circles at this point. I waited until finishing this final book to write a review for the series because I thought maybe everything would be answered, but nope.

We don't know why Alistar turned against her when her blood results come in or why he decided to trick her into trying again with him (though I have a theory), the Daria thing is never ending, they ghost who tried to kill Rune just doesn't seem to exist anymore despite nothing being done about her, we still don't know who set up Ray, and Wilder's pity party makes me lowkey hate him.

There are also a lot of inconsistencies that I've caught throughout the series, like the authors forgot stuff they put in their own book. First of all - if you're close enough to drive to Chicago in a few hours, you're not driving to Vegas in four hours even if you're driving NASCAR speeds. I don't know WHY this bugs me so much, but it made my eye twitch when I read the Vegas part after the previous bit about Chicago - and how did she just get a few hours away from Chicago when according to the first book, she was traveling for months? Second, one of the ways Daxon and Wilder thought they killed Ares was because they didn't feel/hear his heartbeat, which made sense because he's a vampire. But then after she saved him, she said that hearing his heartbeat brought her comfort. Which one is it? Does he have a heartbeat or not?

At this point, even if the actual final book comes out (which at this point I doubt), I'm not sure I'll be reading it. There's not much farther you can go with Rune's personal storyline and that's really all I care about in this story, because the RH storyline is just eh and I don't like Wilder, who will star in that one.

Wild Love is the fourth book in C.R. Jane’s and Mila Young’s Wild Series. Things more or less pick up where they left off with book three and continue moving forward. Rune has discovered Daxon in his basement with her best friend’s mate, Rae. Rune is in shock, but her immediate reaction to the scene painted before her is to attack and so that’s exactly what she does. The relationship between Rune and Daxon suffers a blow, but it’s not a major blow. The relationship between Rune and Wilder, however, has gone cold, but things aren’t right as he spends almost all of his time with Daria, the fae queen now. Add in a new player is in town, and chaos is sure to erupt...just be patient. It’s going to take some time.
When I first started this series I was hooked. As the series has progressed along...I haven’t remained as hooked as I was before. I enjoy the storyline, but the characters are really wearing me thin. This book, like the last, is really Daxon heavy. It makes me think that the authors are really trying to push Daxon on readers. Daxon has his good qualities, but this book yet again puts him in a negative light, for me, quite often.
Daxon is the alpha of the Bitten pack, but he doesn’t act like an alpha. He’s mostly busy chasing after Rune trying to “win her back” after the debacle in the basement. He says he’s going to give her time “I’ll give you tonight Rune but no more” but literally less than hours later he’s outside her door demanding to talk to her. That’s not giving her space. Not. At. All. Then, he’s barging into another pack member’s house yelling for her as he owns her with no respect to those who live there or the grief one is experiencing. Instead of him telling what happened, Rune is the one who’s forced to tell. Daxon is selfish and yet again that is showcased in the spotlight.
I wanted more Wilder and it takes quite a while to get more focus on him. It takes a while to get what exactly has happened with him, but it helps to balance out the story for me. The new guy really creates a stir in town, but it raises a lot of red flags, especially for a town that isn’t supposed to be so welcoming of outsiders. Be prepared for some serious twists, and a big surprise at the end.
I’m rating this book 4 out of 5 stars. I was really hoping for more balance, but once again it’s Daxon heavy. There does some seem to be some progress being made with the guys and Rune, so I’m happy for that. The redeeming factors in this book help save it. I’m curious as to where things go from here, and I’m looking forward to the next book in this series.

This is the 4th book in this series. Each book just keeps getting more and more intense. There is a lot going on.
1. She is on the run from her ex
2. Her mother isn’t her mother
3. There is a serial killer in town
4. There is a new guy who is fooling the whole town (vamp)
5. Wilder was spelled by the far queen
6. The town hates her.
7. Her boyfriend is responsible for killing her best friends man
8. She can talk to ghosts
9. She can shoot power out of her hands.
10. She leaves silver paw prints behind
11. Her wolf is fighting her and giving her bloody noses.

The book starts out with foreshadowing of Rune being attacked. Then it skips back to 3 weeks prior when Daxon was caught by Rune killing Rae her best friends mate. Rune is devastated and thinks Daxon is just a psychopath but Daxon begs to be listened to. He tells her that he found Rae about to kill another person and he found him with souvenirs of the killings. He had to kill Rae to protect the town. Her best friend of course can’t understand this and accuses Rae and Rune of having an affair because Rae told Rune to tell her to look at his journal which was all about Rune apparently. The town isn’t Runes problem anymore because Wilder being suddenly in love with the fae queen who helped them mask her sent and this mystery man in town making her feel all kinds of not good ways when she is already in love with two other men. Turns out at the end of the book though that Ares promises to help her with her wolf problem and takes her to this town and attacks her with his group of vampires. She was able to text Daxon and Wilder before she went into the bar and got attacked but she isn’t sure the message went through. Right before she is attacked Ares tells her that she the queen and he was revenge.

Her bestfriend also left town due to there being too many reminders.

What is this series about? 4 books in I think I deserve to know.

At this point there is just so much going on, so little resolution I can't do it anymore.
And that's without taking a closer look at the "love" story. Why do these characters into each other?
I know they lust about each other but they have so little personality I'm really confused why they are attractive. I guess that's why they need to remind themselves constantly they love whomever.

It feels like Rune has no agency in any relationship in her life, is manipulated by everyone .

This was promising, I could ignore the slut shaming, Daxon's ... (I don't know how to describe his issues), Rune's cluelessness, Wilder seemed to have layers. The story does not deliver.

*spoilers*

We finally have some of the mysteries solved which hopefully means the last few will be wrapped up in the next book. I think this is probably the best book of the series so far.

Ares is using an allure on the town to make them compelled to like him. I thought this was the case when we first met him because clearly Rune is swept off her feet but her wolf instantly detected danger. I wouldn’t be surprised if he turns out to be the black figure in the woods, although by Runes description it doesn’t sound like a vampire.

As soon as Ares mentions the Royal wolves I instantly knew Rune would be one of them. This is possibly why her wolf was suppressed by Alistar if he found out and his family also hated the Royal wolves? That part is still a mystery but will hopefully be solved in the final book coming soon.

I already had guessed that Wilder was under Daria’s fae spell, clearly the favour was used as a way to get to him and drive Rune away. I am glad she didn’t get chance to convince wilder to kill Rune.

I feel like a lot of these revelations were very obvious (to me at least) but I don’t know if this was the authors intentions or not.

Interested for the last book now (or what I believe is the last book as I can’t see this going on much longer!)

By book four, I was ready for claws, chaos, and closure, and while Wild Love gave me all the right pieces, it just didn’t quite snap together the way I wanted it to. Rune’s journey comes full circle here: she’s stronger, finally embracing her power and her place in the pack, and trying to carve out a version of happiness after everything Amarok has thrown at her. Between the ongoing pack tensions, hidden enemies, and her relationships with Wilder and Daxon shifting into something more stable (and still very spicy), this should’ve been a knockout finale.

But honestly? It felt a bit too tidy. The emotional wreckage from the earlier books gets smoothed over fast, the danger that’s been brewing kind of fizzles, and some of the big reveals felt more like a whisper than a roar. Don’t get me wrong, the steam is still top-tier (these authors know how to write feral tension), and the found-family energy remains my favorite part of the series. I just wanted a bit more bite to balance all the heart.

✨ trope checklist:
– series finale / why-choose reverse harem
– pack politics + lingering danger
– redemption arcs + healing
– found family + emotional closure
– spicy with a side of softness

This series thus far has been like waking up with a hangover. When I look back on it, it's muddled and I'm unsure how I got here, but I'm pretty sure it was nothing but bad decisions.

Spice: 3

***Spoilers***

While there are redeeming qualities, most of them were killed in this book either literally or figuratively. Miyu and Rae were a cute little side couple and Miyu was a good friend, but not anymore. Mr. Jones has a character crisis even more abruptly than Daxon with Wilder not far behind.

The Daria involvement was a given, and as predicted there are side effects to her help. NEVER MAKE A DEAL WITH THE FAE.

At least we finally get a hint as to Rune's true origins, but she's back to her original naivety with Ares and Rae is the killer, but not the killer.

4 books in should really have more closure, but the authors succeeded in my case because I did read all of them despite having the kindle halfcocked to throw the entire time.

With any luck I'll forget about this series by the time #5 is out, but I'm sure I'll remember it some day like a fever dream and be filled with rage that I never got a definite answer for most of my questions.

I think this one threw me off a little bit. I thought this 4th book would be more of trying to get Rune and the town more secure and alphas working to get rid of the ex. I still love the characters but I think I’m a little confused at Rune reaction to everything going on. For example why isn’t she freaking out about her ex coming to kill her now that he knows exactly where she is and just killed her adoptive mom? She also didn’t try to use her peaceful vibes or even mention it 😂 to help calm her best friend after the shook she’s going through. The whole notebook with all of Raes writing about her was also tossed aside. She hasn’t tried to use any of her powers on her own to figure it all out a bit more or freak out about her wolf not being able to come out. She didn’t try to figure out what even is going on with the monster in the woods if Rae was the killer but she still saw it. Lol there so much things kinda got pushed away with the new like bad guy that I was left a little bit like oh okay 😅

I still cannot tell how I feel about this series even though I am literally tearing through each book. Basically, each book just takes you on a weird journey where more and more problems appear to pop up without any real resolution of anything, and there is more internal strife. And not only do we get more problems, but we get an entirely new MMC, Ares. And obviously not complaining because he turns out to be a super alluring vampire where he unknowingly discovers that Rune is somehow also his blood match. But we still do not know who was responsible for all of the deaths in Amarok or who poisoned Rae. We don't know why Daria is so obsessed with Wilder and why she curses him. Now we are getting visions of Rune being some kind of long-lost princess. Yet she was old enough to have coherent conversations with her real family (King and Queen of something?) but she also had no idea her mother was not her real mother. So she did not actually end up as a baby on the door step. And Allistair is mysteriously absent and not an issue the entire time in this book again.

The thing that gets me about this series is how it sucks me right in, I am literally emmersed in the story until it spits me out, obviously into a crumpled heap crying for the next book. Wild Love does not disappoint in that regard. The thing is, I admit, I love it. I love the thrill of a fast paced romp in this world, I love the rapid rise and fall of emotions and most of all, I like being left begging for more. It's like these two authors like edging me. Rune is awesome for so many reasons but the main is definitely her journey, her growth, the wisdom she gains, but how it always seems to be just a second behind where it should be. Daxon and Wilder are just delicious psychos, Wilder has anger issues and Daxon is a straight up psychopath. But they love Rune and that's all that matters right? Except maybe Wilder doesn't. I'm going to go and get a glass of wine now. Definitely a must read series!

This is the fourth book in the real wolves bite series, following on from Wild Moon, Wild Heart and Wild Girl.

We pick up the story with Rune having lost half her heart as Wilder blanks her and chooses the fae queen over her and Daxon reveales the murderous side of his personality.

There's never a dull moment in this series! If it's not squabbles and shenanigans, its serial killers and jilted ex partners.

This book kicks it up a notch with a stranger in town and the question of what really happened with Rae.

Whilst I've been a Rune cheerleader throughout this series, I did lose a little of my cheer over her whilst reading this.

I wanted her to become stronger and not always need rescuing.

Daxon and Wilder on the other hand will always have my heart. I love their brand of crazy, no matter how it comes!

All in all a great continuation of the story. It just needed a little more character development in my mind.

The situations that keep falling over Rune had me on edge. The surprises do not end! I suffered with Miyu and Rae, I was angry with Wilder, and I was glad that psycho Daxon took matters in his hands. The truth is that he is not as bad as they paint him, but what a fixation the man has with blood! Intriguing the turn that things have taken. A new character was changing the rules of the game because things were not as they seemed, and the danger was increasing each time. I was trying to guess what was behind the enthralling. I love how the mystery is keep with Rune but the cliffhanger left me growling. I did not expect that. The suspense gets better every moment! Action, intrigue, emotional scenes, deception, mistrust, ghosts, violence, romance and a lot of passion. I hope to have the next book soon.

Rune's life does not seem to get easier, regardless of how much she tries to wrestle the control of her own fate back. With Wilder turning his back on her, Daxon's dark side revealed, friendships broken, mistrust rising all around, and a mysterious, enchanting stranger suddenly appearing in the town, Rune will be lucky to survive everything that is waiting for her.
Another fast read in this PNR series which contains many twists and turns and one new character bringing in some surprises. The dynamics between Rune, Daxon, and Wilder is influenced by the events as much as the side characters, and they have to fight for their feelings to overcome the cracks and gaps that appear. That devious cliffhanger at the end drives the reader probably crazy, but I hope the next book will be worth the wait :)

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "WILD LOVE" WOW!!! What a start to this story you find out lots info, a mystery man appears, steamy scenes, betrayal, hurt, twists that you turning the pages.
I feel for Rune she having problems with Wilder & Daxon neither like to share their behavior is hurting her not knowing where they stand then a mystery stranger appears Ares who causes even more complications.
Rune doesn't really have friends in town accept Miyu who's devastated over her mate being searching for answers she been rather suspicious.
Dara who needs to get hers as usual causing trouble Rune doesn't feel safe in town anymore she & her wolf considering leaving.
I definitely recommend to get this book to see what happens with all the chaos going on I'm so looking forward to next book to see what's going to happen next with Rune, Wilder, Daxon & Ares.

This one is a toss between Le’sigh and Hole crap!

Not sure if spoilers are necessarily present but thought I should add this cause my review was longer than I usually post thanks to Rune’s foolishness!!

………….
………….

I had to stick with it all the way through surprisingly. This book, while the storyline continues to grow and pull you in, was a lot less intriguing. I didn’t like several parts with Wilder (still my fave and I can admit I’m Uber protective over LOL), and why does Ares even exist?! Just ugh!!

Rune has also gotten on my last nerve! I mean her history really should be more of guidance to avoid certain things and yet…..here we freaking are over and over! Ugh!!!!

Overall I’d say keep reading. The series started off good enough that I’m going to overlook my frustrations here and press on!!!!!

Once again, the authors have proven themselves to be evil geniuses. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. It's an onion- layers and layers of mystery! There is so much depth, it will have you questioning what you thought you knew. We're all investigators when we read- trying to solve the mystery and whodunnit. Well, good luck. The authors are masters of deception and will leave you yelling "WHAT?!?!" as you have to walk away to take a breather. Oh, and did I mention steam?? Rune, Daxon and Wilder have so much chemistry, it's off the charts. And once again, I have realized how much I can hate a fictional character- the villain! I will not spoil this story for anyone but it's a must read! Mystery, suspense, murder, steam and so much emotion!
