I loved each individual storyline. A good reminder that we need to surround ourselves with friends that love us “warts” and all. As an animal lover I also loved those aspects as well. If you need a quick little escape from your every day life, look no further. While my grandson waits for his letter from Hogwarts I will be waiting to hear from a lawyer.
Loved the characters, their problems, solutions and loved watching them find themselves. Each over forty, each receives a magical cocktail and a special gift, and becomes a witch. Too funny!
I was so happy to find this series again. There was one immensely sweet bit I wanted to re-read in the last book. Instead, I found myself reading them all. Wonderful premise, fascinating details, and personal growth for each character. Love the friendships.
This series of books were a delightful read. Each story was unique yet they all tied together nicely. The author developed each character with great thought and realism. I enjoyed these books very much!!!
What a fun series. Magic and witches but for the middle age crowd. These witches learn and struggle. Very little foul language, no sex. Funny and touching. Might not be good for alcoholics, there is a lot of mentions of alcohol but it is a cocktail club
Truly wish I had a few friends to have cocktails with, but only if they were as much fun as these ladies. We could all use a little of that magic. Absolutely loved these books!
Really enjoyed , each of the ladies or witches had different story very different characters ,and each grew became better version of themselves. There were some fun funny and even relatable parts in store .
A set of four books that Involve four women who are left a special gift of being a witch make for a special and wonderful exciting mystery with lots of love and happiness recommend it to everyone
I've read many of the author's books and this group was awe inspiring. Wonderful, uplifting stories involving woman of age. I WISH that I had such wonderful friends in my life.
As an over 40 woman that has gone through personal growth I loved this series. It was a mix of chicken soup for the soul and witchcraft. I enjoyed the story lines and the self help aspect without "Preaching" or shaming.
I loved this series! I fell in love with the characters! I couldn’t stop reading. It was hilarious and heartwarming! Excellent read and superb author!!!
I really enjoyed the dissolution of false personas that each lady went thru to develop their real selves. That they acquired different magical talents was pure fun.
