A delightful new series by Molly Maco. Set in the beautiful seaside town of Sleepy Cove the story unfolds with three young women working at their Employment Agency and just getting on with their lives. A sudden windfall takes Annabeth out of comfort zone and into a journey that brings surprising changes into her life and the lives of her two best friends., Bethany and Gracelynn. A must read if you enjoy an event filled, beachside story. Well done Molly Maco. Thanks for a pleasurable read.
Cute story and good start. Annabeth runs a company with her two best friends from foster life. She has scars from abuse. She receives a visit from a lawyer that informs her she has inherited a beach Resort in Florida but she must live there for a year. She does not know the details of how she has come to inherit the resort. Her friends/business partners encourage her to break out of her shell and do it. She does and the first person she comes in contact once she gets to the resort is Jethro, who is the property manager and what an encounter. It is the start of Annabeth becoming a new person and her starting relationship with Jethro. I look forward to rest of her story.
This is only 50 pages so just a chapter or two. Story and characters ate good but I do not enjoy this new method. I want a complete book. I have inadvertently started a book, thinking it was complete, only to find it is a chapter book. I have learned to wait until the series is complete. I will also only read it on Kindle Unlimited because I will not buy a book of only 50 pages. Guess this chapter thing is the newest in reading but not my choice, personally! Just saying realize how the book is released like the serials in monthly magazines years ago( like 50 years!!)
A cute story but very short! Annabeth was in foster care as a child where she met 2 girls who became her best friends. Once they aged out, they started their own business in Detroit. Annabeth is given a beach lodge in Florida so she moves to try to make a go of this gift. Story is cute but I would prefer this series be one book as they are only 50 pages long.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. I genuinely enjoyed this new author for me. When surprisingly inheriting a beach resort a lot of things can start to happen, good and bad. You will want to read this first book in the series to find out.
