This book is an easy, short read that would be great to add to your summer reading books! :) I found myself wanting to read the next chapter to find out what would happened to Callie and her little sister. I also wanted to know if their mom was ok or not!

4 stars because I wish the characters were more developed. I wanted to know more about each character individually and also felt that the locations could have been more developed to help me better visualize what was happening.

I also think this series would be great for high schoolers! There is some suspenseful moments, a little bit of a romance, and it’s a clean “safe” book for young eyes!
