Every aviator ought to read. Excellent and useful information that stays away from unrelated or overly complicated terms. This book provides an explanation of weather systems, insight into flight planning, and gives you knowledge about handling the weather while en route.

This book is more comprehensive than the book by Collins and cover airmanship in other areas. For GA fliers a lot of the airline level knowledge isn’t all applicable so I’d say read both this and the book by Collins. You still need a good understanding in weather theory to learn from the book. For me I’d wish that the authors spend more time talking about weather in greater detail than much of the airmanship and system aspects of airline flying that I’m already familiar with.
