And this is what I think about this story.
This is a very short and cute but also sexy story.
It is well written even it feels somewhat rushed, but there is only so much you can cover in a shorter story, but it still feels a little bit rushed.
It is insta lust and insta love to a very high degree …. but it is still a good story.👍
It is a little bit ridiculous but still very sweet and steamy and sexy …. and also rather modern in some of the references in the story.
I liked the hero he was very sweet and honest and knew what he wanted.
And I really appreciate that the heroine and hero are rather similar in age (the hero only being a bit older than the heroine, the hero is 38 and the heroine is 30)
And I find it refreshing that the heroine is 30 and the hero is 38.👍 👏
The only thing to remark on really, is that I found that the character description for the heroine was rather vague especially the general info about the heroines body type/body shape.
But there was rather a lot of repeating the word curvy and curves upon curves, but not really any more detailed descriptions of the heroine (other than her eye color and hair color) …..
the heroes description was a little bit more detailed and illustrative.
Other than that I really liked this little short story and the book-cover is awesome.👏💯👌👍🙌
And it is something I hope we see much more of.🤞😃

This book rocked in all the ways that a perfect little rom-com should. This had insta-love, passion, and just the right amount of outside drama to tie all of this in. Jade drives off to a bar 2 hours from home to meet up with a guy off Tinder. Jade is an absolute sweetie but she never gets the guy. She isn't the average model-thin girl, she doesn't pretend to be anything she isn't and she isn't afraid to eat a burger.
While she waits at the bar for the date that never shows she asks the big handsome bartender to give her a cosmo and he laughs and pours her a beer. Jade waits and waits and our hero Kellen ❤️❤️❤️❤️, comes over to save the day with a cosmo. This was a sweet, super face paced read. If you're a fan of Megan Wade romances you know what you're getting here. I think the only thing that turned me off a LITTLE from this story was that Jade was a little too forward for me. Now, there is nothing wrong with that and it wasn't written poorly, it's just my personal preference. I like my heroines a little more demure and shy. So if you like someone strong you'll absolutely be head over heals.
I loved Kellen. What a romantic. He's been looking for love his whole life and he finally found her. He knew that when he met her he would know she was the one instantly and apparently he was not wrong. You should absolutely give this a read. I can't wait for the next book in the series!

Never read anything by Megan Wade but this was quite a very good book by this new author to this reader. For a quick read...and I mean quick it was well written and straight to the point. At first I thought how unrealistic but meetings happen sometimes that way and last a lifetime. Although the relationship between Kellan and Jade seemed a bit rushed, I enjoyed it quite a bit.

The man is big, handsome, dirty talking and so direct! He appreciated her in all her beauty, and helps her a bit get over the hung ups. Jade is a sweetheart, I love the true plus size cover and how Megan Wade does justice to the way Jade is and how she perceives her body: there is no obsessing over this, but also not sugarcoating it, it's all facts.
I loved how this was the perfect short fix for a happy story, no drama, just flirty love and heated appreciations.

Kellen is the perfect guy (for me), incredibly handsome, sexy and with my kind of humour. Laughed so hard at his jokes, absolutely loved him! But Jade is just so relatable...life has been similar for me and I even stopped dating completely guys can be such di**s sometimes...but anyways, Jade just falls for Kellen immediately and who wouldn't??

This short story made me chuckle. Jade, the female lead, has gone to a bar to meet a man she’s communicated with through a hook up app. Once there, she meets the bartender, Kellan, the male lead, and they’re both instantly attracted to each other. Jade’s date stands her up and Kellan is willing to fill the breach.
This short story is dual POV, well written and edited, and a gorgeous, hot read with a genuinely romantic male lead.

Jade assumes her forms, but she finds it hard to accept everything, as for Kellen who cannot resist them, he will do anything to convince her that a relationship is possible. The story has a predictable side, just like the heroine Jade, but the story keeps its charm

This is a “Don’t judge a book by its cover” type of situation. I was a little thrown off by the cover but I thought why not give it a try and the synopsis sounded right up my ally. Boy was I right!!! This novella is exactly what I love. It’s insta-love but done very well. I loved the whole “girl goes to a bar to meet a hookup, gets stood up, ends up with a different guy, and the rest is history” storyline. Kellen calls her “darlin’” and “sweetheart” and every time I was a puddle on the damn floor. He loves her curves so much and that just made me love him even more. At one point Kellen mentions how she needs to eat her food before it gets cold and says “I happen to like my women the same way I like my burgers” 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I can’t wait to dive into the next one in the series.

Words cannot describe what I just read… it was pure perfection and you are going to fall in love with these two just like I did. Jade is meeting a tinder hookup but all she gets is stood up and when the hunky bartender Kellen set his eyes on her it’s game over. These two have a chemistry that is out of this world insane and you’ll love their story. Will she be able to believe that he wants her and loves her? Get this book and find you! You will not be disappointed!

A curvy girl walks into a bar… I loved this short story about larger than life, Jade & hunky, tattooed bar owner Kellen. Jade has decided to use Tinder to arrange a date – who then stands her up. Fortunately for her, sexy Kellen is immediately entranced by her curves and sets out to make her his. Hope for us larger women everywhere! The story is very sexy and makes you wish for a Kellen of your own. The ‘love at first sight’ premise of the story is a little implausible, but I think we all need a bit of hope and romance in these dark times, so it didn’t spoil my enjoyment of the read.

This is book one in the Cocktails and curves series. This love story is for Jade and Kellen. I loved that he falls for her right away. I hated that she thought the hot Kellen was playing her and just using her. Curvy is beautiful, if someone makes you feel bad they not get to know you. I loved that he helps her see he wants her for all time and I loved how this book ends. Great Happily ever after love story.

Not who she is there to see, but who she was looking for
The heroine drives out of her way to meet someone who stands her up, but finds her forever instead. Not necessarily a new idea, but this story was amazing in it's believability of it's heroine and the guy who falls for her. I love Megan Wade books, and this one is one of the best. So many authors these days write stories of "BBW" who are unrealistic, but MW is not one of them. She writes strong women who have some insecurities about their size, and anyone who has ever been insecure about themselves for any reason (you are lying if you say you haven't), there's a quality that feels genuine. And if you've ever been loved by someone who sees beauty in what makes you insecure, you realize that there is a genuine feeling to that too.

This book had me laughing throughout it but it also had me needing some ice cold water too. Kellen and Jade were great together. I really enjoyed the connection and the chemistry between these two. This relationship when at warp speed but you can't compete with being "soulwinked". I can't wait to see what the rest of the series has to offers us. I can't wait for Vaughn and Charity's book. I would recommend this book and Ms. Megan as a great author.

I received this as an arc for my honest review
This was one of the best short stories I’ve read in a long time. The first part of the story was so funny, I laughed so many times. The second part was steamy to the max. I just loved this story.

Swipe for a Cosmo is the first book in the Cocktails & Curves series and introduces us to the Valentine brothers. Jade is thirty years old and still single. She just wants to let loose for a night and she is willing to use an app to find someone. But what she thinks is going to happen does not happen exactly.....but it so much better. Jade drives a couple hours to the small town of Whisper Valley to meet a man she has been texting and sending smexy pics with for the last couple of weeks. When she walks into bar she is supposed to meet him at she sets eyes on the bartender and there is some instant slickness happening. Kellen and his three brothers own and run the family bar/restaurant in Whisper Valley. Kellen is behind the bar when a woman who is not from there walks in. One look at her and Kellen knows she is the one he has been waiting for. So with a few questions he discovers she is meeting someone he is not happy and cannot take his eyes off her while she is waiting. When Jade's date does not show up Kellen steps in and is not about to let her get away. Heck he even makes the bar's very first cocktail just for her....a Cosmopolitan. These two were meant to be together and even though Jade was stood up this night turned into the best night of her life.....well so far as ever night on will be her best night ever.
This is a fast-paced, OTT insta-love story that is nicely written, has a fun story-line and great characters. There were a few surprises in the story but it was an easy and relaxing read. I can't wait to find out what happens to each of the Valentine brothers as this should be fun.

When Jade's date does not show up Kellen steps in and is not about to let her get away. Heck he even makes the bar's very first cocktail just for her....a Cosmopolitan. These two were meant to be together and even though Jade was stood up this night turned into the best night of her life.....well so far as ever night on will be her best night ever.
This is a fast-paced, OTT insta-love story that is nicely written, has a fun story-line and great characters. There were a few surprises in the story but it was an easy and relaxing read. I can't wait to find out what happens to each of the Valentine brothers as this should be fun.
