Marco and Shannon are finding out that falling in love was the easy part as they find themselves with a lot of challenges to face. Between the problematic construction of the Trident Towers and the forces that are conspiring against them both Marco and Shannon find themselves in dangerous situations that they must overcome.

The love between them is stronger and the chemistry burns hotter as Marco and Shannon find out they are much stronger together than apart and they leave us wanting more of them and their story. The narrator does a wonderful job at portraying the emotions of all the characters and the suspense of the story.

Restored: Marco Fights Back is book 2 in Bone Frog Bachelor series by Sharon Hamilton and we pick up where we left off with Marco and Shannon from the from the first book in this series.

Marco and Shannon are now planning their wedding to be held at his friend the Sultan of Bonin’s island, Marco’s brought his sons back to the US to learn about hard work for building their future, maybe...and of course here comes his ex-wife, Rebecca to again wreck more havoc with Marco and Shannon’s lives…

Suspense, kidnapping, explosions, stalkers, steamy, emotional and so much more and while this book isn’t a cliffhanger it leaves the door open with questions that hopefully be answered in book 3 of this series....

This book is not a cliffhanger necessarily, but if you want Marco and Shannon's full story, you will have to read each book as their story evolves with each book..

This book was full of action, suspense, danger, and mystery. It left me with a number of questions. I can't really ask most of the questions without having them be spoiler alerts. There are some I can ask. Is Rebecca really a mental case or a vindictive ex? Is there more to what happened to Em than we thought? Who would take the situation with Bone Frog Development to that level? Why would Shannon trust Rebecca? Why would Shannon trust Jared? Are Shannon and Marco ever going to discuss the secrets? What happened with the self defense or the protection detail?

I don't know if some of the things I had questions about will be glossed over in this nook, or answered in the next. I also read the book description after I finished reading the book. Although I enjoyed the book and would give it four stars, I felt like the description gave a bit of a different view than I got from the book.

The stuff about Marco's Unique Needs and Shannon exploring her limits. Did I miss that part? I don't recall reading about it. The two pampered princelings who have never done any hard labor. I didn't notice them doing any hard labor in the book. Their appearance occurred more toward the end. Some positive things happened but we never really got ant evidence other than what Marco said about them. Was the bomb blast related to the past? I didn't get a clear answer on that.

I am interested in seeing what book three will bring us in Marco and Shannon's saga.

I received this ebook ARC, from the author, on the condition that I write an honest review.
This is the continuation of the love between Marco and Shannon, whose lives are surrounded by danger. Marco is still attempting to build his dream, of the Veteran rehab center. His ex-wife continues to interfere, and attempts to block the construction. Marco has finally gotten the financial and political help, to continue with his plans. His ex-wife visits his office and throws out veiled threats against Shannon’s life.
Shannon is stressed because of their future wedding plans, and the fact that she doesn’t want to quit working as a reporter. An occurrence, while she is doing her routine early morning run, makes her more stressed.
Marco is injured during an explosion at the offices of the planning group. The bomb was placed in Shannon’s office. He has to be hospitalized, and unable to protect Shannon. Shannon overhears a conversation, and feels uncertain about who to trust. She goes into hiding, but is kidnapped, until she is able to escape.
Surgery successfully done on Marco, and Shannon is recovered, and returns to Marco’s side. Misunderstandings are resolved, and the story ends in a HFN, until the next book.
I’ve read several books written by Sharon Hamilton, and have loved each one. They always have great characters, with so much romance, and always some suspense. I recommend any book by Sharon Hamilton.

This is book two in The Bone Frog Bachelor Series and it continues Marco and Shannon's story and omg it is a must read. Marco and Shannon are so in love and planning there wedding but Rebecca who is Marco's ex wife is stirring up trouble and making threats so when a bomb goes of at Marco's office and he is seriously injured and some of his team have lost there lives they need to find out who did this and did Rebecca have anything to do with it. Throw in two prince's who love to party and get into trouble and you have a whole lot of problems that need to be solved. There are twists and turns along with danger, threats, death, hostage situations, kidnapping, hope, love and some difficult situations and that is what makes this book a real page turner and totally addictive. The characters and storyline pulled you in right from the start and keeps your attention until the end of the book. Sharon Hamilton is an amazing author and writer and her books are definitely worth reading and I can't wait to read the next book in this amazing series to see what will happen next. Remember that you will have to read the previous books to get all the background history and they are definitely worth reading and you will not be disappointed.

As Shannon and Marco get ready to get married and have a wonderful life together, their met with some issues. The sultan’s son are coming to Florida for training purposes and Marco wants Shannon to leave her job to be with him always and so he can protect her. Though her news family isn’t ready to let her go and she isn’t fully ready to leave it either they have a discussion about it. Then weird things begin to happen. Shannon’s car won’t start and Marco takes her to work then he goes to his business and an explosion happens and Marco and his team are injured and some have lost their lives. As Marco is in the hospital and Shannon had to make choices for his recovery, she over hears things that Marco has been hiding and runs off. She thought she would be safe for a bit and knowing Marco he would have someone track her down but she needed time to wrap her head around things that she was never told. When she’s in the hotel room, her door is opened and she’s taken. Will Marco be able to help her or will this just hurt him in the worse way possible?

This is book two in this series, and it doesn't disappoint. Marco and Shannon are still working on all kinds of issues and great new beginnings. They are planning their wedding at the Sultan's island home and trying to get off many different construction builds as well as dealing with unknown factors that are threatening. Never a dull moment, listening to Marco speak to his employees, Shannon sees "awe" in those employees and realizes a bit more what she has in Marco. Always trying to have the "best" in everything, and realizing that Marco is like a "patchwork quilt stitched together" with all his experiences. Loved Dr. Patel and Marco's realization that love doesn't last forever. The story does not end in a cliffhanger, but there is more to come in the next chapter.

4++ Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐💫 You might think that Shannon and Marco’s life should be easy and peaceful as they plan for their wedding day and finalize the beginning of the Trident Towers construction. But nothing is further from the truth in this fast-paced, exciting, passionate tale. Faced with more of Rebecca’s machinations, a veiled threat, a violent attack that leaves Marco’s health and well-being held in the balance, and a kidnapping attempt against Shannon, you’d think this couple would have more than enough to handle. I guarantee it’s certainly enough to keep you reading, at times on the edge of your seat. But even though this alone is enough to keep you thoroughly involved, with a threat that’s yet to be exposed and a potential rescue mission on the horizon, there’s bound to be more. And trust me there is, but that’s a story for their next adventure, and I can’t wait!

This book continues with Marco and Shannon’s plans to build the community for veterans in Florida, and to hopefully get married soon. I can understand why Shannon didn’t want to give up her job at the TV station as that had been her dream. I thought the compromise was good, even if Marco didn’t like it. Then one day Shannon is shattered as someone put a bomb in the building they are building for the veterans. It was awful what happened. Then to top it off, Shannon overhears Marco talking to the police of what he suspects of his ex wife. I hated that Shannon felt she couldn’t trust anyone and got into more trouble! This is another good book in this series I encourage you to read. I was given a copy and voluntarily wrote a review.

Thrilling from beginning to end, trouble continues to plague Marco and his dream of housing for military veterans, Shannon having strange things happening to her also, trouble in the form of his ex-wife Rebecca always seems to be present when things go array, things explode and more secrets revealed, Shannon is trying to figure out what happened to her sister, life and death, love and forgiveness, creepy stalkers, unhinged ex wife, planning a wedding and having to deal with two adult princes, a sultan in bad health, Marco and Shannon are handling everything in stride, more trouble brewing, I have voluntarily read and review this ARC, thank you for the privilege, amazing series, Dana Zamora

Great re-visit to a wonderful couple Marco and Sharron but their story is not complete in this book. Well written story that follows more of the troubles Marco is having building his facility and condo for wounded Veterans. In this story, there is another threat besides his Ex Rebecca that the couple must fight but through much of the story, that threat is unknown. Can their love survive this latest issue? As I just stated, this story wont give us all the answers but enough that I can't. I can't wait until the next instalment in the Bone Frog Bachelor Series.

While diving back into Marco and Shannon's world, I am reminded that love is the thread that binds them. Though the situation they must endure puts doubt into their relationship. Danger threatens them from several different directions but there is little they can control and that drives Marco crazy to the point where his life is in danger from himself. Shannon again proves her resilience in this world that she didn't fathom the dangers that could be lurking. I really was on the edge of my seat and lost sleep over finding out what was to come. I can't wait to see the last of this series and hopefully see the wedding come to be.

AUDIOBOOK edition
This story was quite exciting and full of suspense, angst. The misunderstandings threaten Shannon and Marco’s relationship.
She gets through quite an ordeal being kidnapped, while Marco fights for his life caused by the bomb explosion at his company’s head office. Finding who was involved in both incidents is on-going and surprises are in store.

Ending with a promise of more excitement to come. Looking forward to the next book, I want to know what happens next and listen about their wedding.

JD Hart did a wonderful job telling the story as usual. I love listening to his voice.

This book is fantastic. Marco and Shannon romance is hot and heavy. The wedding is being planned. The cray cray ex wife is still causing troubles. Shannon’s creepy boss is still creeping. The Sultan’s sons are on their way for their “boot camp” and are causing trouble on the way. Then halfway through the book…O.M.G!!! I’m not giving anything away but both Marco and Shannon are in big trouble. You definitely don’t want to miss this one.

In book 2 we find Marco and Shannon planning their future and working to get Trident Towers build. But it looks like Marco's ex wife is still causing trouble. When a bomb goes off and Marco gets hurt was the bomb really met for him or was it for Shannon? Lots of drama, danger, suspense and learning to trust one another. You do need to read book 1 to understand what's going on in this book and what has led up to things going on. What adventure will Sharon take us in book 3. Can't wait .

This is book 2 in the series and to me, you really need to read the first book in order to fully understand Marco and Shannon's story. Without giving anything away, it was an enjoyable read filled with action and suspense. It was rather quick, but it didn't disappoint. Nice and easy read.
I was hoping to see more of the princes adapting to America, maybe next time.
Not necessarily a cliff hanger, but left as a continuance.
I also wish there was as much detail given to the ops as there is to the sex.
And there is sex.
