Stewardship as Pastoral Care

Meador and Curtis help one see the why, how and what of stewardship from the perspective that stewardship is not just balancing the budget and keeping church doors open, but that it gets to the heart of the Christian and pastoral care. As Christians and congregations come to understand the stewards God has called and saved them to be, it will revolutionize their understanding and practice of stewardship.

A helpful balance of the theological foundations for stewardship and practical ways to implement this important aspect of Christian discipleship and formation within the local church. I found the emphasis on teaching stewardship as pastoral care to be refreshing and compelling.
