About the author

Jade Jones discovered her passion for creative writing in elementary school. Born in 1989, she began writing short stories and poetry as an outlet. Later on, as a teen, she led a troubled life which later resulted in her becoming a ward of the court. Jade fell in love with the art and used storytelling as a means of venting during her tumultuous times.

Aging out of the system two years later, she was thrust into the dismal world of homelessness. Desperate, and with limited income, Jade began dancing full time at the tender age of eighteen. It wasn't until Fall of 2008 when she finally caught her break after being accepted into Cleveland State University. There, Jade lived on campus and majored in Film and Television. Now, six years later, she flourishes from her childhood dream of becoming a bestselling author. Since then she has written the best-selling "Cameron" series.

Quite suitably, she uses her life's experiences to create captivating characters and story lines. Jade currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. With no children, she spends her leisure shopping and traveling. She says that seeing new faces, meeting new people, and experiencing diverse cultures fuels her creativity. My Opinion:

'Head Over Heels For A Chi-Town Heavy' was a good read where there was sadness that came, and even some karma but all in all, this author does what she does best and that giving the reader a story that will leave one thinking about it long after the read. Like what would have happened if Kira and Aspen had settled their disagreement, Heavy[Henrix] sharing with Aspen about his accident, that Stoney, well, he did get what was coming for him, and then there was Wesley, Blaise, and even Kent. Oh, well, this story was quite a moving one where bad things did happen to good people.

All that's left to say is you will have to pick up this story to see how each person turned out on this rollercoaster and suspenseful read.

Great Read

Once Aspen revealed why her and Blaise relationship ended. I understood why she was closed off from love. Blaise did her dirty. Aspen was trying to move on but Blaise dealing with Ciara messy ass wasn't making it easy. Ciara deserved for Aspen to go upside her head and Melanie deserved it too. Heavy was smitten with Aspen. He showed Aspen how to be loved properly. Kira desperation for a man had her putting up with Stoney abusive and disrespectful ways. Stoney was a snake. He didn't give a damn about nobody but himself. I wasn't surprised by his secret obsession with Aspen or the fact that Kira shady ass didn't believe Aspen when she told her what Stoney tried to do. Kira was lowkey throwing shade at Aspen and I felt she was jealous.Karma came for Stoney.

Aspen and Heavy were definitely made for each other I loved how they both had gone through heartbreak but were able to open themselves up to love again. I hate what happened to Kira and Wesley especially after they had found each other again. That damn Stoney was crazy as hell I am so glad he got his karma I just hate it was not before other people lost their lives.. I am so happy that Blaise was mature enough to realize that Aspen deserved to be happy after all she had gone through in their relationship hopefully he finds the one for him.. Job well done I enjoyed.,

Great Read

This standalone was good from beginning to end and I couldn't put it down. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters. Held my attention and it flowed really well. Aspen, was trying to heal her brokenheart. Then she meets Heavy, they're both healing and take a chance on love. Kira, really got on my nerves about trifling Shoney. He was abusive, disrespectful and most of all a selfish snake. But karma took care of him. So loved the way everything turned out. Highly recommend this standalone. Great job Jade Jones.

Hendrix and Aspen

Hendrix chose love over the street life. Him and Aspen made it through even when he pushed her away. Blaise manned up and looked at the bigger picture. Stoney definitely got what he deserved. I hate Kira and We never got their second chance. Once another great story with a beautiful ending Jade, keep up the good work.

I really hate that stones killed Kids just when she was getting married. In the same fashion Stone lost his life at that moment he realized he didn't get away with anything. As pen & Heavy found their true love and marriage is on the horizon. Good story, good ending

65% for any of these adults (whom are to be bosses to act like 1) 78% for the main characters of the story to do something together in the way of the story and back to falling off at 85%. This story made no real sense and and it was filled with so much not needed details that I almost said oh well and just dop reading.

Love In The Club

Heavy saw Aspen in the club and was gone make sure to lock it down with her some how some way. BUT a lame stopped what could have been for a brief moment. It was good to see Heavy and Aspen reconnect but not in the best way that was for Heavy. It’s crazy how long it took for Heavy and Blaise a while to “meet.” Overall it was a great book!

This is my first read by this author, this story was ok, it was missing more pieces to the story. I needed more from heavy and aspen. Blaise just kicked ciara to the curb and that was it?
