I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Brooke had thought that being an intern for Jax’s company was a dream come true but it appears that everything that she does is wrong and the way that he looks at her only makes her more and more sure that he hates her. She wishes that she could say the same but if she is honest that is the last emotion that she feels towards this man who has picket change worth more than her entire wardrobe. She just has to get through the next six months and hopefully she can get a permanent job and this will have all been worth it. Her dream will nearly be complete all she needs is a man that loves her and a baby and as much as she wishes it was Jax that is just a pipe dream, or is it?
Jax wanted Brooke from the moment that she teetered through his office doors in a tight pencil skirt and high heels reminding him of a little girl paying dress up, he knows that it is wrong and he is fighting his feelings and trying to stay away from her but as much as he tries he seeks her out getting her to bring him his coffee and files he will never need to see again, after the last encounter they have he knows that this needs to stop and vows to move her to another department but when she arrive at his house late at night with his dry cleaning he knows he was acting in vain there is no way that he is not claiming her for himself for forever. Can he convince Brooke he really loves her or has he pushed her away finally?
Loved this one it has been my favourite of the series so far and am just looking forward to more in the series. Highly recommended taboo steamy 4.2* read.

What she doesn’t realize is that he’s grumpy because of how badly he wants to make her “his.” Due to their age difference, he fights his feelings and tries to push her away. Just when he’s about to transfer her to a different department and push away his obsessions, she shows up at his home. All bets are off at that point and Jax is determined to have her.

Jax and Brooke will have you cheering them on along their journey of finding their happily ever after. He is a forty something who has long given up on finding his one but that comes to an end when Brooke takes an internship with his company. He is drawn to her and was going to give up on his pursuit by sending her to finish her internship with his VP. Her coming to his house ended that idea, now she has sealed her fate! Will they find happiness together? I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.

This is book number 3 in the Bourbon Falls series and focuses on Jax and Brooke. Brooke is an intern for Jax's company and his obsession. He tries so hard to fight his feelings but can never actually stay away from her. One night changes everything and they both put it all on the line to get their HEA! This was a great story and a great addition to the series!

I liked this story. This is Book 3 in the series. Jax has hired Brooke as an intern. Although he is older than her, he wants her. To be his forever. And once she stops out at his home to drop off his dry cleaning one night. He let's her know how he feels and that he intends to make her his. Liked the epilogue.

A very exciting age gap romance. I love that Jax is a grumpy boss! Why is he so grumpy? Frustration! Lucky, lucky Brooke! A very quick sexy read.

I read an ARC via the author and I'm voluntarily choosing to review it.
Brooke is an intern at Jax company. He’s very grumpy towards her and doesn’t think he likes her. She makes a trip to his house while it was raining. He finally tells her of his feelings but she’s unsure because of the employee situation. The only thing I didn’t like was I felt Jax kinda rushed her. Other than that it was a decent story.
