Sam Wick won’t cease to surprise you.
These well-written and “mission impossible” thrillers will not disappoint just as long as you can accept the violence that is necessary to the task at hand. Sam’s nature is full of mystique. You will feel fully engaged and entertained on the edge of your seat
What I love about Chase Austin’s writing is his unique style that makes you want to keep reading. The spacing and pacing draws you and you are not overwhelmed by too many words on a page. Others may disagree but this compels me to read just a little bit more and a little bit more and I find myself on a fast track with a compelling story - a worthwhile series.

Wicked Asset is the prequel to the new Sam Wick series by Chase Austin
Police Detective Karen Jones is in a pickle. Christmas is forthcoming; she’s facing a trial for wrongful death of a well-known criminal suspect, which could possibly lead to her dismissal from the force; she’s assaulted by the highly respected police chief who says he can get her out of her pickle; then she is physically assaulted.
Then, all of a sudden, author Chase Austin lets us know that she is now being recruited by a mysterious non-government organization (NGO) entitled Task Force-77. Is this an offer that will make the pickle surrounding her will go away?

This is a brilliant read.
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building.
Can't wait to read what the author brings out next.

So far I'm loving these books! Aside from the occasional cryptic sentence (which frankly, is fairly common in these self-published books) I stay glued to the story right to the end. And can't wait until the next one. Keep up the great writing.

You won’t find a more fast paced pack of thrillers. Wonderful characters and believable situations. If this is your genre, read any of the Sam Wick series.

Great series. Sam Wick and the TF-77 team are sent on the impossible missions. Includes taking on the Taliban stronghold to infiltrating Iran.

Lots of action. A good read.
Sam Wick is up to his neck in bad guys. Still he manages to pull thru. There is also a very interesting hook into book seven.

Reading books that the protagonist is the antagonist is hard. This guy has no morals. Hard to read a book where there are no characters to like.
