Part 2 continues straight on from the previous book.

Michelle is reeling after discovering the level of deceit and collusion involved in her seduction.

She focuses her hurt and anger on exacting revenge on her despicable husband and his accomplice.

This does not prove an easy task as like it or not, black bull Wes still has a hold on her. Pandora's box has been well and truly opened.

Her plan involves other men and more and more rough and risky sex.

The once loyal MILF’s outlook has changed forever as she is ironically transformed into the cheating submissive slut, vixen, and cuckoldress her husband always dreamed of.

This is the cleverly crafted story you would expect from 2 eminent writers in the genre, with strong main characters that captivate the reader.

Highly recommended!

The afterward mentions that this book took a long time to write and it shows. The writing and scenes are solid, as expected from these author. Michelle reading Clay's cuckold forum discussions was a great device and I liked that the story had some developed characters guiding the couple. My main critique is the childish, verging on unbelievable, choices of Michelle and Clay. I could understand a few oddities to initiate the story, but from there the characters interactions need to drive the plot, through confrontations, confessions, and identity reflections. A final reveal scene could work, but the main conflict in this story was over Clay's betrayal and Michelle's revenge, which seemed tangential to the couple's marital and sexual relationship.

Great Story

That’s really all that needs to be said. It’s an interesting and unusual take on the genre. Written as you should expect from these authors. I found it to be a page turner, not because of the sex, but because of the story that they wove.

I’ve always wondered how two authors could write one story together. Maybe someday I’ll get to ask them, but for now I’m happy to have read their product.

A really good Part Two,

I really enjoyed the second book. Lots of interesting and erotic sex and Kirsten's usual well written , interesting story. It keeps you guessing about how it will turn out right up until the end. I enjoyed the first book a little more, but this book is still a great read. Also a shout out to Kenny for his contributions to the book.

McCurran and Wright are at it again, bringing to life a wonderfully kinky story!

This is the follow-on book to Michelle’s Corruption. I thought that was a really good story, but this one is better!

The About this Book reveals that Michelle’s husband Clay set Michelle up to be seduced by Wes. At the start of this book, Michelle has just discovered how she was set up and seduced.

Oh Boy! Michelle is ticked and decides to take matters into her own hands.

It takes a long time for Michelle and Clay to come clean about what they know, and what they did. In the meantime, it’s a wild ride as the tale unfolds from Michelle’s POV. In this story, Michelle reads some of Clay’s thinking through his anonymous messages to which she has access. It’s a terrific cat and mouse story; watch out when the mouse turns into the CAT!

This is well crafted with deliciously hot scenes. Plus it reveals some intriguing backstory for both parties, giving context for the couple’s actions. It’s also an exposé of the inner workings of a marriage; what do we tell our partners, and what do we keep to ourselves; how honest are we; how much do we listen and understand? Secrets, lies, misunderstandings.

A good story always leaves you thinking, and this book is excellent. Clay set Michelle up; but what if he’d come clean in the first place? They seem to have ended up in a pretty good state. Would they be in that good state if Clay had been honest, or would they be divorced? How much of what we think is our own thinking, and how much do we just accept, unanalyzed, from parents or society? And when faced with a clear choice, do we lazily do what’s “expected” (expected by who), or do we do the hard work of examining what course is best for us and those closest to us?

Make no mistake, this is deliciously hot. It just has the extra zing of giving you the chance to think. Gifted authors both, McCurran and Wright spin a tale only a 15 year marriage could invoke.

Spoiler Alert - and it’s not what you think. Character Michelle and author McCurran both speak of 40-something women becoming “invisible”. If true, it’s a sad commentary. I personally think the opposite. 40-somethings today are fit, experienced, knowledgeable, understanding, empathetic, … . They’re the real deal. Many know what they want and set their mind to achieving it. All these things together give 40-somethings unprecedented power; power of thought, power of presence, power of purpose. Invisible - only if you let yourself be invisible. And kick anybody’s ass, and I mean anybody’s, who assumes they can treat you that way.

So disappointing. Kirsten is good but not this one.

I love most your work Kirsten but not this one. Nothing likeable about any of the characters. I kept hoping for redemption but it never came. I know you wanted us to accept Michelle's behavior but it was unexcuseable and over the top. I don't know what genre this would be but it's not cuckold and certainly not hotwife. Sorry, but I hated this one.

After finding out her husband Clay manipulated the affair with Wes Michelle let’s loose with being a slutty hotwife. The tortured Clay throughout this book as Michelle develops her plans of revenge. Well written definitely was difficult to put down and was always excited to get back and read more. Look forward to reading more of Kirsten McCurran’s books.

Strong Woman Finds Herself

The book started a little slow, but Michelle was trying to keep her marriage in tact in view of her discovery that her husband set her up to be seduced by a bull. She devises a form of revenge that both thrills her and causes her to wonderf she will fall in love with a man who takes her to places she can't imagine.

This series is similar to KW's Forbidden series.
If falls short because of Michelle's closed hearted attitude and refusal to accept responsibility for her own actions.
Yes, what Clay did was wrong, but she made her own decisions and set herself up to fall. She can't see her own desires. She denied the threesome in her youth and shuffles blame In her maturity.
She's more interested in punishment than the potential joy in her marriage.
She learns what motivated Clay. Better than he understands himself. He wants to SEE her let loose. Knowing that, even with a partner who would grant that to them, she denies Clay that, putting all blame on him forevermore, as a punishment. She has no difficulty enjoying her added freedom, but shares as little as possible with him. She works very hard to shut him out entirely.
Cold. Hearted. Selfish. Bitch.

Read Kenny Wrights Forbidden series to see how communication and empathy can work.
