Saving Little Jenna: An Age Play, DDLG romance

Rate this book
A Little on the run and a Daddy who’s given up on love. Can his love save her from her past?

Jenna was forced to run for her life by a man so evil she dares not utter his name. She has to keep moving if she wants to live, but when she’s shown kindness by a handsome Daddy, she knows she can’t afford to fall in love. She’s torn between falling for Clark and leaving to save her own life.

Clark is strong, sexy and dominating, but he’s gone through a string of failed relationships because he’s too protective and caring. No threat is too big for him and he’d gladly put his life on the line just to protect his baby girl.

The choice is made for Jenna as she begins to madly fall in love with Clark. She slowly lets her guard down and lives the playful, carefree life as a Little she’s always wanted with a loving Daddy.

When she realizes she’s putting Clark’s life in danger just by being with him, she needs to make a decision before it’s too late. Her past will never stop coming after her, and some pasts are so dark, even the best Daddy in the world can’t stop it from consuming his Little.

This is a sweet age play romance with a happily ever after, featuring a Daddy who’ll do anything to save his baby girl, a Little who loves dogs, and a naughty Little friend who likes to get into trouble.

I've only read a handful of DDlg books up to this point by 3 authors now so my knowledge in the dynamic is limited.

What I liked:

The idea that she had a past that she was running from (cult). Her being some what innocent to the outside world and this is her first real interactions with anyone. When she is able to be the little, I can see that veing very healing since her childhood was literally trash. I'm glad she can finally experience safety with Clark.

I liked the friendship that she developed with the the other little Michael and how caring her Uncle was. I also liked the date that Clark took her too, the idea behind that was adorable. Clark was a great guy who genuinely cared for her and her safety.

What I didn't like:

Their DDlg set up seemed like it was quick AF considering what she went through growing up. I felt like she spent most of the book in little space also which made it difficult to see how the two of them developed a more romantic relationship. There is no doubt he cared for her like a Daddy would and she loved the comfort and knowing that she was finally loved by someone with no ill intentions but I wish they had more conversations where she her "grown up" self.

......

I'd still recommend because she is adorable and i liked watching her finally be able to have the childhood she needed. Her friendships were so genuine. Clark was also a sweetheart who finally found someone who matched his needs and he was just overall a good dude.

Jenna had a horrible childhood. Her parents abused her and kept her captive. Then they were going to give her to Him. Jenna risked everything and went on the run. She has never been out in the real world before and she is afraid that He will find her and drag her back to hell. She travel around for two days and has no idea where she is. She hopes that will give her some freedom for a short while. Starving she goes to a grocery store and asks the clerk if she could work for a day in return for some food but the clerk is rude and sends her away. Clark was in line behind her and heard everything. He was abandoned when he was a teenager and begged for help like Jenna. Kind people helped him and he tries to pay it forward. He invites Jenna back to his house for food and shelter. Jenna is drawn to Clark because he acts like a Daddy. Jenna had discovered Littles and Daddies on the computer and knew she was a Little.

Clark has had problems with relationship before. His exs keep telling him he is too protective and controlling. Meeting Jenna makes him realize for sure that he was meant to be a Daddy, Jenna's Daddy. He is shocked by the comments Jenna keeps letting slip about her horrible past. He wants to keep Jenna safe and help her experience everything she has missed in her life. Jenna loves Clark but she is still very afraid of Him. She thinks maybe the best thing she can do for Clark is to leave to protect Clark when He comes after her.

I really enjoyed this story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

While Saving Little Jenna explores the DD/LG dynamic in an emotional and vulnerable way, it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. This has nothing to do with Ruth Kennedy’s writing itself but rather the execution of certain elements that felt too extreme for my personal taste.

The story follows Jenna, a survivor of severe abuse within a cult, who finds comfort in regressing into her "little" space as a coping mechanism. Given her traumatic past, this aspect of her character makes sense and adds depth to her healing journey. However, where the book fell short for me was in the portrayal of Clark, the "Daddy" figure. His character felt somewhat forced and unnatural, lacking the organic connection and emotional realism that would have made the story more compelling. Instead of a gradual, believable progression, their dynamic often felt overly scripted and juvenile, which made it difficult for me to fully invest in their relationship.

That being said, I can see how this book would appeal to readers who enjoy a heavier focus on little play and an immersive DD/LG dynamic. There’s definitely an audience for this kind of story, and Kennedy does a great job of committing to the theme. However, for those who prefer a more balanced, realistic, and emotionally nuanced take on the genre, this one might not be the best fit.

Overall, Saving Little Jenna is a well-intended story with a unique premise, but it was more extreme than I’m used to. If you enjoy full immersion into DD/LG themes and don’t mind a bit of an exaggerated dynamic, this could be worth checking out. However, if you prefer a more subtle and natural take on this kind of relationship, it may not be the right read.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! Buckle up it going to be an emotional wide ride there will be twist & turns, up & downs, around in circles backward and forward so buckle up! Jenna running from something so terrible, sweet, innocent little girl, who loves her stuffies, coloring pages, who wants to be loved for her and the little girl within her. Clark sexy as all get out protector, dominating and wanting to find his forever little girl, he sees her in Jenna, but she is hiding something. He shows Jenna there is love, there is someone who wants to protect her, keep her safe, who welcomes the little girl she is. Jenna wants to accept what is being offered but the darkness is following her and she doesn’t want to put Clark in any danger especially with her staying in one place for too long. The chemistry is instant and intense, the magnetic pull is so strong it can’t be ignored will she run to keep him safe, will she trust him to keep her safe and have they finally found some peace and happiness?

Awesome age play romance

I really like this book. I love reading bout age play and BDSM and I have to say this book was one of the best age play I've read. Jenna has had a hard life dealing with crappy parents who treated her and her siblings like trash and hurting them cause of the cult they are in. She runs she doesn't wanna leave her siblings but knows she has to cause she can come back for them. She runs and doesn't look back. At a grocery store trying get food for days work she gets laughed out of the store. She meet Clark who wants to protect her and love her. She goes with him and they try to fight the way they feel for each other. She finally tells him what she wants and she becomes her daddy. He brings her to meet Michael another little and his daddy John. He finds out about her bad childhood and why she ran and he's been trying keep her save. Read all about the danger she's in and her love for Clark her daddy and love.

It definitely is a must read and you won't be disappointed.I couldn't put this book down til I finished reading. I can't wait to read more about all the other characters.

I was torn about this book

This book had me wishing I could give half stars because it teetered between 3 stars and 4 stars so many times.

Things that made it a 3 star:
Editing errors
Repetition of phrases such as ‘worlds greatest daddy’ and ‘my baby is so shy’ they were used so often that the phrases began to irritate me.

Things that made it a 4 star:
The story line/ plot
Michael - he was an amazing character and I loved him.

The story follows Jenna who has escaped a cult having had no life experience she is desperate and alone. Clark finds her and takes her in. Having missed out on her childhood her inner Little comes out and that brings out Clark’s Daddy side.

It’s a very slow burn story with little intimacy until the back end of the book. Partly due to Jenna’s past but also because of a lack of communication. Whilst both Clark and Jenna are new to the dynamic I feel discussing things like safe words and limits would have been beneficial.

So yeah. This would have been a 3.5 stars because it did have drama and danger and the premise was good it just let itself down in parts.

This is a great story. I am looking forward to reading more by this author. I couldn't put it down.

Jenna is on the run and has never been in the outside world. She longs for a Daddy but doesn't believe that they exist. Clark sees a woman begging and decides to help her out. He has been in her place before and wants to give her a place to stay. He believes that he will be alone for his life. He doesn't expect that the protective instincts to come out.. He knows that there is something more going on with her. Jenna and Clark begin a relationship but her fears are still there. When she finally tells the truth, will he run away or pull her closer?

I don’t know - Small Spoilers

I liked this book but I couldn’t really connect with it. I can’t really explain it but it felt like I was reading a magazine. I know this story is fiction but when I read a story I want to believe it and escape. This felt temporary. I did enjoy Michaels character his enthusiasm made me want to finish the story. I knew that Jenna had suffered at the hands of her parents but a satanic cult? I don’t know if I maybe just watch to many crime docs but the whole “satan” thing is overplayed. Bad people are bad, do they need another excuse? I know it was probably for the shock value but it wasn’t for me.

You should read this book if it makes curious like it did me.

Jenna is on the run from her abusive family and the one they are giving her to, and she knows they will not stop until they find her. Clark is a Daddy who has had some bad relationship endings, but instantly feels a connection to Jenna. She is looking for food and shelter and he sees her in the grocery store asking for help. He takes her to his place for protection and things escalate quickly.
The characters and storyline are well written, with plenty of surprises and twists along with a great romance. Loved the ending and how they got to that point.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. Jenna is running from a childhood of abuse and a possible future too horrible to acknowledge. Clark is a man who believes in doing the right thing when he comes across Jenna. He is a Daddy and she is a Little. They fit perfectly together. He is her protector, cares for her and wants to love her. Jenna is what he has always wanted and needed.

It was the writing for me. There were numerous mistakes that an editor should have caught. For example, sentences that weren't complete. Grammar errors. I'm wondering if English isn't the author's first language? That would explain a lot.

The dialogue was cringey because of the way they talked and, again, I'm going to blame the writing, not the content itself.

The storyline was great. The only reason I didn't DNF the book is because I was interested in Jenna's story. I'm going to try the second one because I want to know how the 2 Daddies thing works for these particular characters.

This is an ABDL romance about a young woman who has a past of abuse and neglect that stuns the rich loving Daddy who finds her after she runs away. She can't tell him everything and will run before her past catches up and hurts him. He just knows that she's the baby girl he's been looking for and nothing will take her away.

Loved the book it was great hot and steamy. Jenna and Clark their story, Jenna was on the run and Clark came and swooped in and took her in his arms. He is very over protective she found that she was falling for him. He knew she was a little and told her to call him daddy.

Well,

The storyline was decent but rushed. There were a lot of mistakes (sentence wise) that could have been avoided with reading it before submitting the book. It skipped around A LOT and some parts made no sense. With further thought and writing smoothly (keeping past tense as past, not mixing the past, present and future up), the book has good bones to start.

Okay just not great

I liked the idea and plot. I just couldn't get into this one. The writing is very... dense. Not complex or anything. It's hard to explain. It just took so long to get through this one and it's not very long.

Very poorly written, with an almost cliché story. The worst part in my mind is the constant sense of being preached to and told how it is...

DNF, I started this got two chapters in and stopped. The MMC seemed more "little" than the FMC was. It just didn't flow, it was choppy and not at all entertaining.

Not belivable and TSTL!!!

Both of them! He picks up a strange girl obviously on hard times and brings her home, and she just obliviously gets into his car and goes with him! Nope.
