Mrs. Luna ‘Moon’ Steele.

The thought alone gives me goosebumps, but there is still no happily ever after for us yet. Everything seems to stand in the way of my Aceholes and I, but we stand together. Through thick and thin, till death do us part.

My egg donor is dead, and The Games have finally arrived. Stepping into Beechwood Hall, the challenges surprise even me. Featherstone seems to want our blood, or is Totem behind even this? We must find our way, as we move into the darkness.

Will we survive the carnage, or will we be consumed by the depths of hell they’re willing to put us through?

More secrets are unravelling before us. Will Totem’s heir be revealed?

The new-found truths leave me gasping for breath. I’m done with everyone else’s rules, I’ve played along, but now it’s time to finish what I started.

I’ll tear down the walls of Featherstone Academy, and Totem along with it.

Our Bloodline is a *** word novel, and is the third book in the Featherstone Academy Series.
This book contains dark content that may be considered a trigger for some readers. With that in mind, it is recommended for readers 17+
This is a full-length reverse harem college romance novel, meaning the main character has more than one love interest. It also contains steamy scenes including intimate MMF and MMMFM.

Conclusion to Luna and Her Merry Men -v- The Ring

The story continues with Saint...Oops sorry... Queen Luna and her group of merry sexed up men.

Unlike the first book, this one just jumps from multiple partner sex, to one on one sex, and back again.
And then the author remembers to get back to the plot...about The Ring.

Remember that?

At times I had to check that I was still reading this series about the Featherstone Academy and not some Fifty Shade Light stuff.

Yep, the author has really let herself rip with all the M on M on F sex here.
And when we are not subjected to THAT.
We get the soppy lovey dovey, inner monologue musings of our P whipping Foursome

A lot of this third book I just ended up skimming over especially when you get sentences as corny as this from Parker -

“Just like my beautiful fallen angel before me, a goddess, a warrior, a queen.”

Oh for Gods Sake!!!

Yeah.
There is only so much of “ My Angle”, “My Princess” “My Sakura”
My Baby Girl I could put up with.

These guys were constantly using Sex to resolve all their issues.

They get upset. Let’s have sex

Look Luna had fight, and is all pent up..Let’s have Sex
Lets have a threesome.
Or
A foursome
Or! Maybe a bit of titillation, with some M on M action. “Wink*

This book leaves the plot completely to one side, COMPLETELY!, and turns into chapter, after chapter, of Luna getting off with different guys....or all the guys. OR all the guys getting off together...

Hey, it’s just experimenting...that all. Bit fun between guys *wink*

Once they all get in room together,.. It would be like,....Oh, here we go again

We get it! ...They all ADORE HER! ...Now can we move on?

There is a lot of repetition in this book as the author tells the story from another characters POV, only to cover the same ground as we have just read.
This is very frustrating.
I tended to just skim through a lot of these sections.

Finally, we got to the end and there was no end to the drama involving all the Acehole’s , And the elusive Totem, bring the book to a (somewhat) explosive ending.

Problem for me was...the drama didn’t come through enough,
AND! Was all condensed into several end chapters BECAUSE…You know, all that sex

Seriously.!
No casualties on the side of the Aceholes?
Really?
Not ONE?
But the most unsatisfy part of the book for me was the COMPLETELY over the top soppy ending.

So cutesy and sweet, I had a toothache. ...Blah!

So unfortunately, after finishing (and believe me, I nearly gave up sooo many times) I found this book disappointing.
I have a dislike for unrealistic HEA’s (or as the author called it HFN) and this ending felt like the author had lined her little ducks up all in row.
A realistic ending would have been CASUALTIES!
You could see what was coming a mile off, and I hoped and prayed I was going to be wrong but, sadly I wasn’t.
PLUS!
The next book will be about Red and (probably West or Maverick, but I think the author telegraph West loud and clear) “her complicated love life”.
How much do you want to bet in will be multiple partners again.

I was so freckin annoyed with Red.
I didn’t find her funny or sassy, I found her to be irritating, intrusive, bossy and a pain in the A
So, no surprise I won’t be holding my breath waiting for the next book from this author with another sappy HEA ending...Hard pass

Our favorite gang has solidified their family unit and are ready to take their enemies down once and for all! I feel like we've been waiting for this final showdown between Totem and his supporters versus Featherstone for what feels like forever and I was not disappointed! I do wish that they had removed the glaringly obvious Totem supporters from The Ring and academy a lot earlier than they did as it would've saved everyone a lot of trouble. But to be fair they were the ones that kept this aspect of the plot progressing so I can understand why they had to stay.

Moving on, can I just say that I adore the size and loyalty of the inner circle?! The lengths people go to to protect those in their family is one of my favorite things to see in books so having the family get bigger and bigger with each book just meant that my heart got happier and happier! And while our characters didn't get much time to relax, the few times they did had all the banter between the characters that made for the perfect little breaks in between all the action. There were also some plot twists thrown in throughout, some I happily predicted correctly and some that seemed to knock me off my feet! We also got first time POVs from two side characters and I have to say that I am excited for both of their stories! One because I simply adored them as a character from the second we met them and the other because I'm curious to know who they really are as a person given the implications of what they were up to during all of the action at the end!

Overall, I feel like this book had lots of the things that originally endeared me to this trilogy in the first place. The loyalty and camaraderie of the found family of Featherstone that spanned multiple generations. The emotional and sexual chemistry between Luna and her harem. The humor, banter, and general antics that provided some high quality comedy relief. And most of all, the emotional moments that highlighted how far all of these characters have come since they first encountered each other back in book one. I fell for these characters the second I met them and watching them all grow together over the course of the story was a wonderful experience, now to see what was going on with Red behind the scenes! 👀❤️

I absolutely loved this series as a whole, and while this book wasn’t my favorite of the trilogy, it was still a dang good read. This installment picks up, giving us a flashback of sorts to the happenings that were revealed at the end of the previous book, then it brings us right back into the thick of things with The Games. Plenty of action, mayhem, murder and steam with this one, as well as some surprising revelations as this story arc comes to a conclusion. My only complaint is things built up to the face off with Totem, only to wrap up really quickly - I would have liked more of an epic battle, more questions or at least clues into how some of the things he did were accomplished. But all in all, a good wrap-up of the series, a great read, and one I’d recommend.

Epicness oozes from this book

While I might be bias... I floved this book. It’s a great conclusion in our Aceholes’ story. The story wraps up beautifully in an intense show down where it seems no one is safe. I was on the edge of my seat and stayed up till 3AM to finish because I just had to know!!!

You want heat? It’s got it. You want fights and battles to the death? It’s got it. You want friendship and deep connection? It’s got that too. You want humor and sweetness? You guessed it, this book has it! You want to say goodbye to characters? Well too bad because I will never have enough of them!!!!

All the characters grow and change so much over the course of the three books. I dare you not to fall in love with any of them. Parker Parker especially... swoon. Everything I wanted is in this book and I’m ecstatic about what’s to come next. Multiple POVs. High heat. MM. Trauma and mental health dealt with in a positive light.

Not going to lie, this one ended up disappointing me. It just felt like the same plot dragged on from book 2 and nothing new. If it was a little novella I probably would’ve enjoyed it more, but I was bored half the time while reading.

I still loved the 5 of them and their relationship was cute, but it felt too cheesy compared to the other books. Nothing really felt sincere and I think my expectations maybe were just too high from how much I loved book 1 and 2.

Still a nice ending, not my favorite though.

FILLER! So much filler!
This book dragged to the end. Lots of sex, so much fluffy filler and hardly any plot.
Also, a quick Google search would tell you it doesn't take 4 hours to fly from Connecticut to Virginia. You can damn near fly across the country in that time. It's a one hour flight, just FYI.

Epic. Amazing. Top ten of 2021

To say that these books are brilliant is an understatement. I will definitely be reading and recommending these to everyone. Reverse harem done well!! I loved the academy/ secret society / underground crime scene plot and I adored the main characters. To be fair I loved a few side characters too so I’ll definitely be looking for those in the next books in this world

What a conclusion!! This book right here, phew Miss KC Kean!!! Talked about hooked! I couldn’t put it down, I love the bond Luna and her men shared, they truly lived that ride or die life. Oh man, the bombs that were dropped on me, it was like a minefield because I never knew what was awaiting me on the next page. And my gawd, the steam? Hot dayum, I’m telling you some of the sexiest scenes I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading. Every thing you’re looking for in a RH, KC Kean delivered expertly without a single disappointment! I’m looking forward to Red’s story.

Of the three books in the series, this one was my least liked. The relationship between Luna, Roman, Oscar, Peter, and Kai is what kept me going. The ending was lackluster and predictable. The sex in the book wasn't up to par with what I crave in my sex-focused books. The plot definitely isn't what kept me reading. I feel the author could have spent more time diving into Oscar's "adventures". The author has potential, and I'll likely pick up the spin-off book based around Red. If you don't mind men going from macho "badass" to completely pussywhipped, then this series may work for you.

I received an ARC to review of this book and I was super excited to do so!

The recap at the beginning helped recapture some of the fast forward time at the end of the last book. I liked seeing what actually went on in that gap.

I feel like the Games were really hyped in the three books and we did see two— but I might have liked having the scene from two apply to three so we had more of the thing that was hanging over their head for the whole trilogy.

I LOVED the discovery from the bag and the resulting scenes. I LOVE granny Steele. I want more Granny Steele.

I missed Red a little. I’m glad she was in the end and I have a definite idea since the last book of what’s she’s up to. I really think having Luna and the A’s peek in would be fun— or short stories maybe.

The wrap-up was fantastic in terms of loose ends. Poor Kai, just a pin cushion this time.

I loved the story and love the characters. Parker remain my guy but big mouth Oscar really stole my heart a second time in this one. I hope we see more of the aces and Luna as they reset Featherstone and maybe take on new challenges.

This trilogy started off so well, I thought the first book was good, however, they slowly got worse in my opinion.

In this book I honestly don't know what happened to the main character. She was such a badass in the first book, in this one all she does is cry. I found myself getting so sick of the scenes. The boys in her life worship her (good for her) but she doesn't actually do anything to deserve it apart from everytime they're upset she has sex with them... very repetitive and got boring real quick. Don't know why this book has such a high rating tbh.

Found myself skimming a lot of the chapters because I just completely lost interest and didn't really care if Luna died 🤷🏼‍♀️ this trilogy went from promising to down right boring and predictable. Luna went from badass to... I don't even know what. Someone who cries everytime anything remotely happens to her.

Won't be reading this author again. Which is a shame because as I said the first book was so promising.

LOVE

Lately I've been having a hard time finishing ongoing series because I like variety and switch constantly between books and series. This series however caught and kept my attention in the best way. These characters pulled me in, the FMC is a fighter, yet she shows her vulnerable side on different occasions and her men are the kind I like to read about. Completely devoted to her and not afraid to show it. This book brings an epic finale that had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. This author knows how to catch a reader's attention and keep it, throwing in little Easter eggs that point in the direction of other characters, making me as a reader want to dive into their mind.

Wtf?

Nooooooooo...... I don’t want this book to come to an end. This was amazing even if I feel like alittle more should of been put into this ending. However I am so glad Red will be getting a book. I am pretty sure Maverick and West are 2 wanting her attention but I’m having trouble thinking of the 3rd. I swear she almost says Aiden a couple of times but that doesn’t make sense to me since he clearly states he likes guys not girls. I’m at a loss but can’t wait to read more from this world!!!

2.5 stars - I really only finished the series because I wanted Red’s story. I skimmed a lot by the end of the third book. I felt the characterizations were really inconsistent and a lot of scenes felt very repetitive.

Forgot to leave a review. Whoops
I enjoyed the characters in this book, but the plot took a sharp turn and left. It didn't make its way back into the picture until like 60% and then everything felt rushed. But I still enjoyed the spice. 😉

World: One Mortal World

Plot:

Since it was revealed that Luna married Parker, we get some insight into what happened. She married Parker to save him from his father and place him on a different bloodline, But within there world means she can marry all of them. So legally she married Parker, but the others also convert to her bloodline and take on her last name with there own. So tech she is married to all 4. The stay at the Games, and get ready to complete the games as a unit. She gets the bag that was left in the vault and opens it with her Papa (Rafe). There is 2 letters inside, a blanket and photos. The letters are from her father, who explains that he isn’t dead, he has been in hiding to keep her alive. They do the first round of the games which is a tunnel. Which they all survive. Then the second one is a maze with rooms of torture within. Her father (Bryce) saves her and takes her out of the game with her 4 husbands and Rafe.
They go into hiding at the beach house. They decide to go back to the school to lure Totem to the school so they can kill him. He turns up but takes Kai sister and places her in a burning library. Kai goes to save her while Luna goes to see Totem. Totem and Wren mother end up shot dead and Kai saves his sister. They all move into the Steele Suit together. The book end with the boys setting up a proper wedding for her to attend with all 4 of them in tow.

My feelings:

I love reverse Harems with murder and blood. I know I have issues but I just don’t care! They are just the most entertaining Them all.

Luna I love you! So blood thirsty. You were meant for this world even if you didn’t think you were. I wonder how you will evolve in the next book which will be from red POV.

Roman, I knew you were soft. I just knew it. I love how he comes from an assassin family. He made it out of the tunnel without an issue. Clearly he is gonna be my Book BF #1 in this series. Oh and the fact that you also comfortable with your sexuality just has me hooklike and sinker.

Kai, oh and you a fire cracker. I felt sorry that you had to chose to save your sister and not help luna in the end. But you made the right choice. I cannot wait to see the little nuggets of your story in the next books.

Oscar, oh your dirty dirty mouth. I love the way he talks and acts. Like a horny 14 year old without a filter. He makes me laugh every single line he says.

Parker, I love how you don’t lose yourself in this book. Its like you have embraced the darkness now that your a Steele. No one getting lost in your head. Luna has changed you into a killer without remorse and I love it. Shoot first ask questions later. Great character development for this one.

“Yes, sorry. So, we have Kai Steele-Fuse, Ace, trained in Business and Technology. Oscar Steele-O’Shay, Ace, who specializes in Science and Combat. Roman Steele-Rivera, Ace, Skilled Assassin.” He gulps, glancing quickly in his direction, before continuing. “That leaves Luna Steele, Ace, our resident thief, infiltrator and weapons expert, and Parker Steele, Ace, with his own chosen skill sets, Tech and weaponry construction.”

HOLY CRAP! What just happened?

Before I somewhat get into this review...books 1-3 of this series focus on Luna's storyline and then books 4-5 are basically the entire story condensed and focused on Red and the struggles she was going through throughout everything that happened. So all the times when Luna has been asking if Red is okay throughout the books, we get to learn about why she was always so dismissive.

I basically sprinted into reading this book after finishing off the second book in the series and as if it couldn't get any better...it does! The Games have finally arrived (I can't believe it took this long) and they are seriously f-ed up! Although I will admit, I was expecting more blood and gore after them being hyped up so much. But nonetheless, they were pretty epic. I can't speak too much about what happens, because there's so much going on that it could ruin some plot twists for you.

I didn't find myself skimming pages here, actually I was so enthralled I ended up rereading parts just to make sure I had full understanding of who was doing what to who and where the story was going. So crazy!

--Rating - 4 stars - fun, crazy, toe-tingling excitement
--Steam - 5 stars - oh it's amped up!
--Storyline - 5 stars - unique, captivating, one hell of a rollercoaster
--Plot Twists - 4 stars - they're still coming!
--Emotional Pull - 4 stars - I don't think you'll be crying, but tears welling and lots of gasping for sure!
--Writing - 4 stars - much better than the first two books. The style hasn't changed, just more precise, with less filler.
--Denouement - 3 stars - everything is pretty much wrapped up, but give a girl a future epilogue geesh
--Cliffhanger? - No, but kind of. No for the Steeles, but yes for Red.
--HEA? - Yes

*Like the first two books; if you don't like blood stay away, and if you don't like M/M, M/F, and MMF sexual situations this ain't the book for you.

Possible Spoiler:

The unfortunate part about this book, in my opinion (and the main reason I didn't rate it 5 stars), I have to admit is the ending. While it's one hell of an HEA, it's too damn abrupt. Like the author just wanted to get on with Red's perspective and be done with Luna and the Aceholes. There's not even an epilogue for them. Actually the epilogue is all about Red and is basically an intro into her book. I'm hoping that book 5, even though it's from Red's POV will include some sort of long-term, future, look into their lives.

Happy

I'm quite happy and satisfied with these three books of this series. So I'm stopping here because the next book is not about Luna and her guys. Now, that's not saying I won't go back and finish this series in the future but it won't be now.. I'm off to a new adventure. Thanks KC for a good read! I think I will follow you and see what else you have to offer.

I liked this ending for Luna and her Aceholes. It was a bit underwhelming, not gonna lie, but I still enjoyed it. I’m really excited for Red's duet. I can’t wait to read. I’m literally going to read after posting this review.

Anyways, this was good and if you read it, I hope you enjoy! Toodles!
