When I started this romance, I was really enjoying it! The heroine is in a plane crash and has amnesia, so someone finds her and tells her he's his wife. Her real husband has given up hope of finding her, but one day she finally escapes and runs into her husband's brother. I really enjoyed the heroine learning to trust her husband and falling back in love with him. There were some annoying conflicts that cause various problems with the romance that I felt were a bit forced, and there were moments that needed more time or better pacing. I definitely think the suspense could have been developed better because it felt like it was there and added in for the plot instead of being slowly developed for the whole book. So many components were there that would have made a great romance, but they were not seamlessly put together, so it felt a bit clunky and not as fleshed out as it could have been.
All he knows is he has Sal back, and he’s never letting go again
Wished he explained the ow thingy . Didn’t like how he kept it from her . This always happens in a romance book . The H keeps something from the h and when she finds out that is the reason they split up .
•••••••••
ow / om drama
Ow - so before she got into the accident which caused her memory loss . Alabama (ow) and Luke ( H ) were recording a song and ( ow ) kissed him . He pulled away and said how he only wanted h . And someone took a photo of them and send it to h . Which led to her having a miscarriage. ( this does cause problems later through the book because H kept it away from h to protect her . She later finds out about it by seeing the image) (OW) doesn’t cause problems . She later explains to h she was the one to blame.
OM - h has a stalker who was the one who kept her kidnapped. For that time she was missing . h says how he didn’t rape her but he did abuse her . ( it is explained how (OM) was married but she died so he like kidnapped h and another women because of her dead wife ) he does come at the end to kill her but H comes in time and (OM) dies .
H and h have been married for 8 years.

Sing You Home is the first book in the Nashville Star series and I believe the author’s debut as well (this is their only series so far). I was excited to try out a new small town series, it has pretty covers, but sadly this didn’t do it for me.
This is written in third person POV which always just throws me off for contemporary romances, I also didn’t like how we get POV chapters from another side character (who gets how own book eventually too, book 3), I could have done without those additions. It just took me out of the story when swapping to the side character’s POV.
The story had a good premise: Luke is a country star who hasn’t been able to sing/perform since a plane crash 9 months ago when he lost his wife. Luke woke up in a hospital and his wife Sal was never found so she was presumed dead. But Sal is still alive and without her memory she’s been living with a bad man who tells her she’s his wife. Sal ends up showing up at the right place at the right time and Luke’s brother, her brother-in-law finds her. After a minor hospital stay we have Sal going back home with Luke and trying to remember/cope with a life and a husband she doesn’t remember.
I just found this story a bit surface-level. Sal was obviously going through a lot but it didn’t seem like it with how quickly the story and her falling back in love with her husband went. I’ve read better amnesia romances. Luke also decides to hold back things from Sal that happened in their past and caused issues in their marriage pre-plane crash, and so of course that comes to be an issue again in the 3rd act, which was frustrating storytelling. Seeing him call her “darlin’” was cute, but otherwise I won’t be continuing the series.
3 stars This book went from a nearly 5 star read to so disappointing in a matter of chapters.
The ending drama was just plain lazy. This author wrote such a beautiful and well thought out story, and then just destroyed it at the end. Both of the MCs repeat their mistakes over and over again. They have already lived through all the consequences of their choices the first time, but haven’t learned to do anything differently. Even simply taking personal security more seriously after an attack wasn’t ever seriously considered. 😒😒
I can never understand how authors write these amazing stories and then fuck up the endings so badly.
Safety, I think this is pretty safe, but may be triggering for some readers This is essentially a marriage in trouble story with amnesia The hero is always faithful to the heroine, even when she is presumed dead Heroine has a psycho stalking her, he kept her as his captive for many months until she is able to escape him, he never raped her during that time, but he did physically abuse her. Some drama from OW who kissed the hero, he pushed her away, but a photo of the kiss was taken and sent to the heroine. This causes problems in their marriage in past and present, but the OW regrets her actions and comes clean. Both hero and heroine contemplate suicide at different times while they are separated

I adored this when I read it after release, and I loved it even more now.
~Luke hasn’t been living since his wife disappeared in a plane crash 9 months ago. Finding out she’s alive is the only thing that matters to him, it doesn’t matter that she doesn’t remember him.~
Luke is a top tier book boyfriend. The adoration and obsession he has for his wife is so damn beautiful. We would all be so lucky to have a man like this. Does he have his faults? Absolutely, we all do. But wow, this man LOVES his wife. She’s the only person on his radar. “Luke could be on fire and all he’d worry about was if Sal was getting smoke inhalation.”
Sal is such a sweetheart. I wanted to cry with her in the beginning. Her journey is a wild ride and she only comes out stronger because of it. I’m so in awe of her.
Their love is.. WOW. I’m iffy on if soulmates exist but I truly believe these two are. Their love is one of a kind. I loved everything about them and the very end made my heart swell.
Ahh where do I start?! You never know what to expect from a new author, but wow, Ava blew this out of the water.
I loved everything about this book. I don’t think I’ve read many romantic suspenses but I think I need to because this was everything.
I laughed, I cried, I was on the edge of my seat holding my breath, and I swooned. Man I swooned. That southern drawl and the patience and compassion that was Luke Kincaid, gahhh. I need him singing to me, guarding me with his life and saying sweet nothings as my new book boyfriend. When a man can’t let go of the love of his life and his world is wrecked, he has my heart.
Sal was also an incredible heroine, she’s been through hell and back and comes back fighting for her life every time. She was kind but fierce. Her sass and banter with the guys was so much fun to read.
Let’s not forget Seth, who was the best brother and brother in law, and wild and uptight Lacey.
For my first amnesia-centered romance, this was a fun ride! Country music sensation Luke Kincaid was such a dreamy hero. Even before the two characters are reconnected, you can feel the love he has for his wife. The pain of not only missing Sal but also the loss of his desire for music was truly palpable.
After losing Sal in a plane crash nine months ago, it’s a whirlwind of emotions when she reappears with no memory of their prior life together. Considering the ease back into her original life, I did have to suspend my disbelief a bit with the amnesia storyline, but I really, really enjoyed this.
With two mysteries entwined within the story, this was action packed! It had a great balance of suspense, romance, and a tight-knit support of friends. The chemistry between Luke and Sal was so passionate—I swooned every time he called her darlin’. I’m looking forward to more in this new small-town series!

Sing You Home (Nashville Star, #1) by Ava Hunter (2020/09/10) Rating 3.5/5 Stars Disclaimer: I received an e-ARC from Ava Hunter in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Sing You Home is this first book in the Nashville Star series and can be read as a standalone.
This story follows Luke Kincaid who is dealing with the aftermath of living his life without his wife. It's been 9 months since Luke and his wife Sal ended up in a plane crash and he woke up without her. Luke is now having trouble caring about the things he used to. He has given up on his music, band and pretty much anything else that used to make him happy.
But all this changes when he finds out that his wife is still alive. As he hurries to find her and bring her home, it shocks him when finds out that the woman who he loves has no recollection of him or their life together.
When Sal meets this country singer, she has no idea what to believe. After running away from danger, the last thing she expects is to meet a man determined to resurrect her lost memories. Especially when the person who is responsible for her fear is still out there and is trying to track her down.
Now that Sal's life is in danger, Luke must figure out how to protect her before he loses his second shot at love.
I really enjoyed this novel. I was immediately drawn to it when I discovered it was an Amnesia romance; it’s been a while since I have read one, so I was really thrilled to read this one. I loved the chemistry between the characters and I really admired Luke's tenderness and patience with Sal. I also really loved the side characters and how they were really rooting for the main characters.
I will say that what hindered my enjoyment of this novel was that the story is told in third person present tense which isn't my favourite tense to read in. It didn’t make the story difficult to follow but at times I felt a bit disconnected with the story and characters.
Overall, I really enjoyed this novel and thought it was a great debut. If you are looking for a Small-Town Musician, Second Chance romance them I definitely think you should check this one out. I look forward to reading more from this author and once again, thank you to the author for providing me with an e-ARC for an honest review.

Sing You Home is the first book in the Nashville Star series, it’s also the first book I’ve read by Ava Hunter and it’s a real winner. Luke and Salinger’s story deals with love, loss, starting over and finding each other again. These two are amazing and are definitely meant to be together. I felt an immediate connection with them and their relationship. The storyline has a great down to earth and genuine feel, the characters are relatable, they draw you in and keep you engaged as well as the secondary characters and I can’t wait to read their books. I recommend giving this book a chance and I’m definitely looking forward to reading the second book.
Sing you home by Ava Hunter was a definitely beautiful and emotional read. My heart was broken by the events in the story and the struggles that happened between Luke and Sal
Luke who lost his wife due to plane crash has stopped living when they couldn’t find her and without her he has nothing to go on for. But fate had other plans because after the longes nine months she was found when she escaped from her captor, only that she had no memory of her past. Being brought back home she struggles with her memory but Luke and their friends are by her side to help her recover.
But there are secrets from her past that can break her and Luke doesn’t want to risk any of that.
Once again, I absolutely loved this story. It was emotional and beautiful with the HEA and I would highly recommend it to everyone.
Thank you Ava for this ARC and I can’t wait for more great reads like this ❤️❤️❤️
You never know what you'll get when you take a chance on a new writer's work, but make room, romantic suspense. There's a new gal in town and she's about to take the genre by storm!
They say there’s nothing new under the sun, but then they haven’t seen this story. There's no run-of-the-mill premise here. Country music star Luke Kincaid loses his wife in a plane crash. Mired in grief and guilt, he spirals down into a dark depression, basically giving up on life altogether. Then he discovers his wife is still alive, but she remembers nothing of her life before the crash.
This story, y'all, I can’t begin to explain how phenomenal it is! The emotional component is everything, pulling me in as so much more than a casual observer. I felt so much for Sal, with her scars inside and out, desperately trying to remember her love for a man who is now a stranger while dealing with a well-intended but overwhelming sister and danger just around the corner.
Of course Luke is the kind of hero we all love, a strong man with a big heart but battling his own demons. And the way he is with Sal? *swoon* His band mates are the perfect counterbalance, making me want to know more about them, so I’m eager to see what comes next.
If you enjoy finding new authors you can follow throughout their career, look no further. Romance lovers of any kind will hang on every word of this unique, extraordinary, heartfelt story, so limber up that 1-Click finger and start reading this one today!
Luke Kincaid, former country star, is barely hanging on. Blaming himself for the plane crash that potentially killed his wife Sal, his career has tanked as he's disappeared from the public eye. Thousands of miles away, Luke's brother discovers "Jenny," who's on the run and believes she's escaping her abusive husband, who turns out to be Sal. As Luke and Sal reunite with Sal having no memory of her life prior to the plane crash, the pair must find how to navigate their new normal in hopes of falling back in love.
Goodness, this book was a wild ride! It was completely different than I was expecting and I could not put the book down. I just had to read more to know what was going to happen next. Sing You Home featured lots of twists and turns that were jam-packed with drama and suspense. This fast-paced amnesia-centered romance had some open door scenes with mild steam.
I loved watching Luke and Sal rediscover their love for each other, despite the odds. I was rooting for their happy ending the entire time. I have never read an amnesia-centered book before, but I really enjoyed it. I am looking forward to the next installment of the series to see where the story turns next!
4.5 stars for this book i ADORED!!!!!! from the very start i was so hooked in this world and story! this is such a tender, beautiful romance about giving first and true love a second chance after tragedy. this plot line already sounded so good from the minute i read it and i will tell you the hype i had for it LIVED UP. Luke was an overprotective, sweetheart, country star hero and it was impossible not to fall so in love with him. he was fighting out his own path with all of this and i really respected how he did it! and sal was a resilient, strong heroine that reminded me a lot of camila from daisy jones and the six. my heart BURST watching the two of the rediscover their love and i’m so thankful for this!
thank you to the author for a free copy in exchange for an honest review!
Disclosure: I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

Note: There is a prequel called Know You More, which talks about how an emergency paramedic, Salinger "Sal" Sutton, met a busking yet promising musician, Luke Kincaid, briefly but made the biggest impression on each other. It also talks about how the Brother's Kincaid found their manager and later success in Nashville's country music scenes. Some of these details were mentioned in Sing You Home, but to get the full details, I recommend you to read through this book first or revisit it after reading Sing You Home.
Sing You Home talks about what happens after Luke and Sal, already married but goes through some things; then Sal ends up in an accident that causes her to forget who she is. She has been missing for a few months until her brother-in-law, Luke's brother, recognized her. Sal may have found her way back into the arms of her husband Luke, but there is a lot more to the story than a "missing-person-now-found" plot. The story is told from multi-character POVs but will not confuse since each part is written and indicated well. The tone and writing style are easy to read and relate to. Readers will easily relate to the characters since the story is told well and clearly though outside forces destroy what Sal and Luke have.
It was impossible not to connect with the characters since readers will feel the deep emotional connections between Luke and Sal from the start. Their love pours out from the pages, even if Sal has no recollection of her life with Luke. Her instincts knew him as someone special. The path to recalling who the real Sal Salinger is a long road filled with pain and disappointments. But with the help of Luke, family, and therapy, she found herself again and even unearthed more than she bargained, which led to surprising discoveries.
The supporting characters were stellar. There was a lot with the whole band of Brothers Kincaid and their spouse lending their support in rounding the book from being too serious with appropriate comic relief and a lot of "saving" done by Seth and Lacey. Seth has been integral in finding Sal and being her soul-supporter as she unfolds her missing pieces to her memories. Her sister, Lacey, feverishly protected and made sure Sal got better and healed. Both Lacey and Seth are fine examples of true friends and supporters who will do anything for her.
I love the mystery, suspense, and scandalous elements in the book. Not all things that happened in the book are simple. Trust me to tell you that intricate and messy secrets will come out that will lead Sal into threatening situations out of her control. I appreciate how the suspense parts did not overshadow the epic love story between Sal and Luke.
How the author wrote the ending would make readers squeeze the living daylights of their book or, in my case, my Kindle! I was on the edge of my seat to find out if Sal was in a very precarious position in her own home. **Readers, expect to hold on to their sanity because this one is a doozy!
In summary, Sing You Home is a story full of love, sacrifices, suspense, and redemption. It shows readers that they will always find and end up together no matter Sal and Luke's path. The best parts were the heartfelt song lyrics included in the book that show how much Sal and Luke's love is beyond the norm and eternal. Their journey is a great benchmark that shows what being married is all about - unending love, compassion, support, and forgiveness. I cannot wait to see whose story will be in the next book series!
Sing you home. this book wasn't my cup of tea... I gave it a shot cause I read Nashville star #2 Find you again and I really enjoyed it. I usually don't go for cowboy romance books but I tried and gave it a shot. This story its about Sal mainly, how she was in an accident and lost her memory. After she is taken and kept away from her family for months, she is finally found by Luke's brother Seth and she is finally home. Sal it's trying to remember and Luke its trying to protect her at all cost, even from her own memories.
In this story I didn't have a favorite character, it kind of catch me the story but not for the characters, if I have to go for one I would say it was Sal. Sal has a really strong character with so much kindness but at the same time so much fire. I really liked that about her and the fact that at the beginning cause she didn't know it she was struggling but deep down she just knew it. The she found out about woh she really was she just rise again and bloom, yeah she did have her ups and downs, but how doesn't. So Luke here had me in a crossroad through the hole book. I did like him being overprotective but not so much being overbearing. I felt that sometimes he suffocated Sals character and kept her from growing. Yes he was his rock and he was there through thick and thin but sometimes I felt that he was being overbearing because of his guilt which it not just for me.
Something I did love about the story it was the little suspense that it had. I just wanted for somethings to keep happening and it didn't and I feel that when the time was right it did. There were some scenes that were well written, with just the write amount of detail in need. Particularly the sad and spicy scenes. Sad scenes had me almost crying, I just wanted to feel better and give all of that to Sal and Luke. Spicy scenes had just the right amount of hotness, made you feel it and just want for more but kept you satisfy.
The book did have me frustrated at some parts, it general the secrets kept had me frustrated and sometimes I just wanted to stop reading it. At the end you just kind of figure it out what is going to happen then it happens and there are so many emotions, one of them being frustrations and just want to say "told you so".
The book overall I did enjoy reading it, its not going to become one of my favorites but it nice to read, you can finish it on one day and it a different kind of romance being a hot and nice cowboy. I would recommend this book for people that really likes cowboy romance and a nice cute read. I would not be reading love you always which is a continuation of their story and keep myself happy just loving Find you again.
“You are my entire world, Sal. You are my life, and I didn’t want mine if you couldn’t have yours.”
I can’t believe I haven’t read this series before now! When I tell you I absolutely devoured this in less than a day too, a good angsty second chance romance is just what the doctor ordered.
Sing You Home is book one in the Nashville Stars series by Ava Hunter, this one follows the story of Luke Kincaid and Sal Kincaid. It's been nine months since country superstar Luke Kincaid lost his wife in a tragic plane crash. Unable to cope with the pain of losing her, Luke is damn close to giving it all up-the music, his band, even his life. Until he learns his wife is alive. This book follows their heart-breaking journey through grief, lost memories and reuniting two lost souls.
I’m not normally a big fan of the amnesia trope but I loved this book. It was written so well and I think it makes you really appreciate the little things in life because stuff like this can happen and reading about how their relationship develops and how this was handled was everything. The characters truly go through it in this one but all the angst and heart ache is so worth it in the end.
Sal is probably one of the strongest FMCs I have read about in a small town romance, what she’s been through and continues to go through throughout the book is enough to take anyone out. However, she just kept bouncing back stronger than ever and I’m so glad she had such a strong support system.
Luke my sweet heartbroken country boy, it broke my heart to watch him go through all the feels and struggle with his grief over what happened in the past and the present, the weight he carried on his shoulders by blaming himself for everything was gut-wrenching. Watching these two reconnect after everything they’ve both been through was a beautiful experience and I have never been happier for a couple to get their happy ending, it was truly deserved.
This book has all the found-family wholesome vibes too and I cannot wait to read about the rest of the characters featured in book one.
If you are looking for a quick and easy read but still want the drama, the suspense and all the romance then this is the series for you !!
P.s always check the TW lists before starting a book besties !!

“I love you. You have my heart, my soul, my song l, Sal. You’re my road. And I’ll walk with you till the ends of the earth.”
Talk about SWOOONNN 😍 This is how Luke Kincaid talks to his wife, Sal constantly in SING YOU HOME by @authoravahunter , which published yesterday so do yourself a favour and go grab a copy now!
I have a new book boyfriend. Yep. It’s happened. Luke Kincaid is the definition of my favourite kind of country boy. Even better? He’s a country singing, guitar playing country boy 😍😍😍
He is head over heels in love with his wife, and since he’s got her back, he tells herald shows her every single day. Sal is slowly finding her place in her “new life” realizing who actually loves her. And where she is safe. Tho she had been through a tremendously deal, she is still strong, and refuses to run away from her last any more. She longs to have her memories back so she can remember her life with Luke from the beginning. But one lesson she had to learn, is to be content with what she has and to cherish the memories she is making right now.
This is the best kind of romantic suspense novel. So full of heart, love, and steam. But will pull on your heartstrings and also having you rooting for both Sal and Luke.
I haven’t read very many books with the main character who suffers from memory loss, but I loved this book! This reminded me of the movie, The Vow so much! I loved that movie!
Okay, so my favourite book is The Simple Wild and Jonah is my fav book boyfriend (hellooooo sky cowboy 🤠) Luke just may be my fav country music cowboy book boyfriend (Yes, I’m going to start categorizing my book boyfriends… they are starting fo pile up!)
The second book in the Nashville Star series comes out in January, featuring a shady character from book 1…. I can’t wait!! Thanks so much to Ava for sending me a copy of her book to review! I absolutely loved it and cannot believe this is your first book!
Now, this is how you do a country romance with a suspense twist! This was a roller coaster ride, but it was one I was glad to be on.
Sal has been dead for nine months, or so her family and friends, including her husband Luke, assume. Unable to manage his grief, Luke has quit the music scene and isolated himself on his farm with his guitar, cartons of half-eaten pizza, and countless bottles of whiskey.
But Sal isn't really gone. She has no memory before waking up one day and has been kept imprisoned by an abusive man, posing as her husband. When she finally escapes after fearing for her life, she luckily runs into family. So begins her and Luke's journey to reconnect in the midst of her memory loss.
I love the ensemble of characters in this book, especially Luke and Sal. I am a sucker for a strong MMC who is respectful of their partner's situation and boundaries and for an FMC who is equally strong and resilient. Ava Hunter creates such a formidable connection between the two of them and makes us believe that these two are soul mates.
The supporting cast is also unforgettable. I adore Seth and Lacey and their bickering, and God, I hope they get their own book. We get introduced to Jace, Emmy Lou, Alabama, and other folks without feeling overwhelmed at having to remember who they are.
I absolutely love how the story of Sal's amnesia is done. It is realistic, it is relatable, and it hits you right in the feels. It is absolutely horrible to forget the people you love and the memories you made with them. Ava Hunter does a phenomenal job in conveying this story without bringing the overall vibe down.
This is a slow burn, but the wait is worth it. Having to follow Luke and Sal as they build their relationship from scratch helps with creating tension and chemistry.
I cannot wait to read the rest of the series. If you are looking for an angsty but sweet love story with action, suspense, and music, this is a must-read.
Title: Sing You Home (Nashville Star Series Book 1) Author: Ava Hunter Hero/Heroine: Luke & Sal Trope: Second Chance Romance
THE GOOD 😀
Boy, did this book tug on the old heartstrings. It was such a heartbreaking twist on this popular trope that I couldn’t help but smash this book out in, like, a day. After spending the last nine months thinking that his wife died in a plan crash, Luke is surprised to find that she’s very much alive. Sal has spent the last nine months living another life, one filled with pain and confusion. Losing her memory in the plane crash, she has no recollection of her previous life. Luke and Sal were incredible characters; both fighting to get back to how things used to be and watching them learn about each other all over again was seriously beautiful. Luke was determined to hold on to Sal, fearful of losing her all over again, and Sal, so feisty and strong, just wanted some, if not all, of her memories back. These pair had some serious chemistry, and I adored seeing them grow and learn to love each other again. The suspense aspect of this book literally had me swiping pages so fast, I thought my kindle was going to short circuit. Witnessing Sal become stronger and more determined to fight against the fear from her past, made her one kick ass character. Strong heroines for the win! This was an intense read from beginning to end, and I adored every bit of it, from the intense chemistry between Luke and Sal, to the dynamic between Luke, Seth and Jace. Bring on book two is all I’m sayin’.
THE BAD ☹️
Roy. Ugh *shudders*.
OVERALL THOUGHTS: An incredible second chance romance with wonderful characters STEAM LEVEL: 🔥🔥🔥 STAR RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
9-months ago, country music star Luke Kincaid and his wife, Sal were involved in a plane crash. While Luke walked away almost unscathed, his wife’s body was never recovered and she was presumed dead after countless searches. Ever since, Luke hasn’t sung or played guitar with his band and he’s been drinking himself in a stupor. Just when he wants to give it all up, Sal returns out of the blue. The only problem? She has no memory of the last 9-months and doesn’t know anything about herself, Luke, or their marriage. Luke wants nothing more than to reintegrate Sal into their life and prove to her his love, but the last 9-months were much darker for Sal than he could’ve imagined. And Sal’s disappearance may come back to haunt her.
Sing You Home by Ava Hunter is book 1 in the Nashville Star series. In order to enjoy this romance, you’ll definitely need to suspend your disbelief, as it centers around amnesia with a touch of suspense. I liked the overall premise of this romance and I think I would’ve rated it higher if it was executed better. I believe this is Ava’s debut novel, so for a debut, I think it was written well. The story is told in third person POV, which although not my favorite, I can usually look past. The problem here is we get more than just Sal & Luke’s POVs. We get POVs of side characters when they aren’t even around the MCs. It distracted me from Sal & Luke’s actual romance. Even though this romance didn’t totally hit the mark for me, I’d be interested in the other books in this series. 3/5 stars.
This story is about a country singer named Luke who is devastated after his wife goes missing and is presumed dead after their plane crashes. He doesn’t know how he will live his life without her in it. Then, she is found alive. Luke determined to regain his love, his life and his music career, brings her back home. The catch is she doesn’t remember her life with him at all and she’s being chased by the man who held her captive since the accident. Can he sing her home in hopes of getting his life back together with his wife who has no memory of their life together?
Ava Hunter you just became the top romance author on my radar. Where do I even begin.
I absolutely adored this book and from the moment we were introduced to Sal I was hooked. I literally couldn’t put it down. When I had to put it away after my lunch break at work I was itching to get back to it. I love how strong willed and powerful Sal is. That is a woman who had been through some tough shit and wasn’t giving up her fight. Luke was an amazing caretaker and all the examples of what kind of man I want to marry. He may have had a few slips with the drinking and smoking but he was willing to do everything he could to make himself better for her and protect her. Ugh swoon. This book has so many changes of view between each character but I was never confused about where the story was going. I felt like I was watching a movie or tv show that just kept getting better and better as the pages went on. Seriously though like as a new author I wasn’t sure what to expect but I can definitely see her going places and I’m excited to read the next books in this series. Definitely add this to you Christmas list or even by it for yourself because this is a new favorite adult/new adult novel!!! 5 billion stars. :) I want books about all of them now( Lacey ,Seth, Jace and Emmy Lou.)
Don’t let the cover fool you. This is not your typical romance novel and I absolutely LOVED it!! I think a little suspense mixed with steam is my new favorite pairing.
It’s been nine months since county superstar Luke Kincaid lost his wife in a plane crash and he has been spiraling ever since. Until he learns his wife is alive. He finds himself heartbroken all over again when he finds she doesn’t remember anything. She has no memory of their life together, their love story, the good, the bad. Anything. Sal is desperate to remember this tall, handsome country boy. She is drawn to him in a way she can’t explain. But all comes crashing down as the madman who is responsible for Sal’s disappearance finds her and will stop at nothing to take her back.
There are so many things I loved about this book. One, the author's writing is fantastic. I really enjoyed her writing style. The characters were scarred and broken which I love. I didn’t think cowboys were my thing but this book convinced be I was very, very wrong. The steam was 🥵 🥵 *chef’s kiss* I also enjoy a book with side characters I love just as much as the main characters and this book definitely checked that box for me. But what really got me on this one was the plot. First, this was my first amnesia, second chance romance and it was done really well. Second, I absolutely LOVED the suspense aspect of it. I felt like I was on pins and needles and it was working for me. If you like some steam, second chance romances, extremely handsome country boys, and suspense pick this up! Also, it’s extra, super cool to read a book about your home town!!! Adds an extra level of fun in there.
Music super star Luke Kincaid lost his wife in a plane crash nine months ago. Unable to move on without her he secluded himself away from everyone. He’s ready to give up on everything till he learns his wife is actually alive.
Review :
This book was SO good! Luke and Sal are just perfect together. Sal went through so much but she was so strong. Luke is what every woman could hope for ❤️ This book has so many layers to it. You get some suspense, a little rockstar and some good steam. The ending was perfect ! If you like a wild emotional ride then you need to get Sing you Home which releases September 20th!
It’s an okay read, I took so long as I was reading more interesting books at the same time. It’s one you can put down and pick it up a few weeks later and know exactly where you are. The plot had so much potential, the amnesia storyline and the rebuilding of a relationship has the capability to be amazing but I felt like this fell short. Sal and Luke had plenty of chances to be more, I wanted Sal to be more than just Luke’s wife. She needed her own separate life that she was going back to etc. I love Seth and Jace and would like to see more of them. Wouldn’t rush to re-read but wouldn’t mind at some point in the future returning to this book.
