At the ripe age of eighteen, Orabella Martinez had lost her father. Having being separated from her mother at such a young age, Orabella knew nothing about the business her mother participated in with her new husband.
After the death of her father, she is thrown into the world of her mother where she meets her mother's husband, and her husband's son - Vincenzo. Vincenzo is not like any man she's ever met, he's mean, and demanding. He's cruel and he's scary. Vincenzo was known to leave people in fear by just simply looking at them.
What Orabella doesn't know about him is that he is the world's most feared Mafia Don.
The moment Vincenzo's eyes land on Orabella, he claims her as his. Her stepbrother is the womanizer who stunned everyone when he makes Orabella the woman to be by his side.
With Orabella being scared and hopeless, will she learn to let her stepbrother into her heart?

"Y-You can't do that," she cried out, "you're my brother."
He laughed at her as his fingers latched onto her thin lace panties. "I'm not your brother, neonata." His lips were on her neck as he nibbled her skin, trailing lower to her breast.
"Why are you doing this?" She asked him, biting down on her lip the moment his tongue grazed her bud.
A. Marie's work can only be described as immaculate. Known for her mafia romance, and her ability to capture the heart of her readers, she has finally decided to bring you a taste of her tantalizing writing which you will not be able to resist!
If there's one sentence that could describe the experience of this book is- if was reading a book about a side character but they were still the side character.
First off we have Orabella who is a Y/N like personality and is gentle and all of a sudden pushed into a mafia life. Then we have sexy love interest Vincenzo, which by the way is supposed to be all scary. Spoiler alert he is not. :) At first he is to her but then there's a sudden snap and shift that normally I'd enjoy but not so early on in the book. I also feel like because he turned so soft so quickly, we missed so much possible AMAZING angst.
One thing that didn't disappoint in this book was the humour (maybe mostly from the comments ofc) but near the end of the book when she got pregnant the humour died... my petition for these types of pregnancy tropes to be eradicated is up now y'all.

Remember the title?? Yeah the title... Stepbrother. Remember it? you may aswell forget it after like 10 or so chapters because that is the smallest thing that mattered in the book. wanted more resistance, more morality questioning, and more fucking desire. It was probably brought up like once??? for like five minutes?? Then dropped and never remembered again.
Oh, and they weren't even step siblings at the end we discover. Like come on, that defeats the whole purpose of the title. I'm not fetishing step sibling romances I'm just saying don't LIE.
This book was a solid four stars until I discovered I had to pay for an epilogue. So now it's a three :). Get that bag girl, but don't make the whole book free apart from the epilogue, that's cruel.
i read this on wattpad as that is my favorite reading app, and may i just say this is one of THE best (if not the best) book i’ve ever read. it has such a good plot, flows nicely, and keeps you on your toes at all times. there’s so many twists that happen that may invoke certain emotions in you emotional people. i’ve read it through multiple times, so i 10/10 recommend this book!
Okay so as I go through my wattpad reads it just solidifies how much this one was not very good 😫 like the plot, characters and spice were just not it.
This was the first wattpad book I ever finished and it was so good! The only thing I have a problem with was I wish Orabella was conscious during her pregnancy.
