With the bathhouse in Selim’s care, ex-traveling merchant Lawrence and Holo the Wisewolf set off on a journey again. Along the way, at a place called the Vallan Bishopric, where they were going to exchange coins, there is a familiar face was waiting there to reunite with them-Elsa.
Now a priestess, Elsa says that she came to the bishopric to manage the church’s assets. As collateral for exchanging their money, she asks Lawrence to investigate a cursed mountain, where people are said to go in, but never come out. Hidden there is the secret of the alchemist and the fallen angel-?!
I. Tanya, esquilo, vender montanha, etc. II.
God. Isuna Hasekura never misses. It's been so long since the series "concluded", yet he keeps writing these lovely Spring Logs packed with new adventures and references to the past ones. It's so beautiful and cohesive. This outing for the Wisewolf and her fool was amazing. I love this series with all my being.
Another light but enjoyable entry in the series! Most of the book is a solid story featuring Lawrence and Holo, while the last chapter is a cute side story for Col and Myuri. They're all doing what they do best and the stakes were just high enough to keep the interest while staying on the light and fun side.
