The Thresher

Terra Nine, home of the Varissi, is no longer Petty Officer Tahir Marcus’s problem. With his recent efforts downplayed and now cast aside for a continued Alliance push on Ciaranian, Marcus is used as a pawn for Alliance desires to secure a final agreement with the Varissians.

Reassigned to a salvage class starship, the Thresher, Tahir finds himself immediately at odds with the crew and their passengers. Plagued by recurring memories of his encounter with the Yuntila and hunted not only by the Armada but by crewmembers hellbent on revenge and secret promotions; he must find a way through. With enemy forces closing in and around him, Tahir must use his wits to preserve his life and those on the Thresher that still believe in decency and doing the right thing, no matter the cost.

If he can find a way forward, Tahir will buy himself valuable time in unlocking the greatest mysteries of his life and in turn might even find love in the process.
