Shasheen is very smart and caring. Met him in my early Mike Ferry days and then in 2006 or ‘07 at an event with Matt Ferry & Thach Nguyen, where he quietly coaxed me into speaking to a large group of strangers - which resulted in a long list of very positive life changing events. I feel like this book is going to do the same thing. I read the free Kindle Unlimited version and am now ordering the paperback. Some of this as you read it, is common sense. But having it as a manual to refer to and work through the trigger exercises is where the change will occur. Simple but very profound. Describes what I went through as a high producer and now not wanting to work. I trust the book and reaching out to him will get my groove back.

I will surely count this book in books that have changed my life. It's very well written and on point. The author amazingly conveys big things in simple words, over and out it's a book that will help you understand your own complete potential.

Wow. Completely new way to process my thoughts and emotions. The exercises to retrain my mind from reacting to life to being at peace with my surroundings, and now pursuing dreams — not as dreams, but as solid, attainable, world serving goals. Writing the letter to my kid self, who has only acted to protect me from harm, and then the letter to my parents to literally let them off the hook…I am now FREE to pursue all the things God has been calling me to do all along. Shasheen, not only did you blow every self-help book out of the water, but you humbly and creatively combined the best from various spiritual practices and psychology approaches to recovery from “addiction to achievement” and all the exhaustion that ensues, and you have made the way for a clear and simple path to freedom. Thank you, Shah. Thank you.

This book punches other self help books in the face…

From the very first line this book punches other motivational books in the face. It begins with the radical premise that... "There's nothing wrong with you".

If you're a high-achiever (who sometimes finds yourself in an inner struggle with parts of your thoughts feelings and behaviors) this book will help calm the storm and bring new clarity.
