Humbled By A Real N*gga 2
The gang is back! In this part two, Saije has learned that not only her father is alive, but so is her baby brother. Saije is on edge, feeling as if her father has a hidden agenda, and her fears come true when she learns her biological mother has been kidnapped. Humble Holden Lansen became an instant millionaire, thanks to Saije, his best friend and first love. After not speaking for years, Saije still managed to keep her promise to Humble and make a way for him to transition out of the streets, something he’s been begging his longtime girlfriend Lita to do. Although all of his worries seem to fade away, Humble still can’t seem to let Lita go despite his father’s ill feelings towards her. Ryla has finally met someone to slow her down and isn’t too happy about that. She still wants to have her fun girl ways but wants to lay up under her man immediately after. Sy isn’t going for Ryla and her hoe tendencies and is forced to show her why he is indeed the true son of Diablo. Ivoree is starting to let Doe run her down but just when Doe feels he’s found the bullet to his Glock, a jumpoff informs him that his future baby mama may already be a baby mama to his cousin Saije’s dead husband. Doe can’t seem to get the feeling of Ivoree possibly being flaw out of his head, so he does what he does best, get answers straight from the source. It wouldn’t be Doe if he didn’t add a twist of craziness to his methods when handling Ivoree. I knewwwww it. Omggggg. What is going on. That man Diablo deserves to vacation with the devil. I don’t even know what to say. Just know …on to book 3 because I thought book one cliffhanger was bad… boy oh boy. It’s about to get REAL.

Whew!!!!!!
Lawd the plots and twists in this story left me with my mouth hanging open. I don't believe for one second that Ryla is really confident in who she is. How she lives her life says differently. Sy was a different type of dude and I knew sooner or later he was going to get tired of Ryla hoeish ways. Ryla went too far and thought nobody was going to find out. I understand Diorsey was trying to teach Cartier a lesson after what she did but it seems his method turned into a game. Doe was a different type of crazy. I laughed so hard at his antics. I don't know how Ivoree is going to put up with that fool. I have so much respect for Ivoree for telling Saije the truth. Even in death. Saije couldn't escape Keron trifling ways. Keron wasn't worth a damn when he was living. I can't understand why Saije was still in her feelings about him knowing what all he's done. Humble refuse to take heed to his fathers word's about Lita. Lita is a money hungry, attention seeking, lazy hoe that only want to live off of his reputation and money. He's going to have to learn the hard way that Lita come from a background of scheming tramps. I was shocked when the identity of her mother was revealed but the apple don't fall too far from the tree. Diabolo was a damn monster. He was truly sickening. Narah, Sadie, Saije, Ivoree, Aurora, Cartier, and Syper was a victim to his monstrous ways. Narah knew first hand how Diabolo was. Deep down inside. I believe Sadie knew but because he treated her differently. She turned a blind eye until the past in truth showed up at her doorway in book one. The kid's truly had no idea who he really was until Aurora showed up with proof. The way this ended. I'm definitely looking forward to part three but I wasn't shocked at Humble confession. However I think it may change the dynamics of him and Saije friendship.

The saga continues in part 2. Spoiler alert 🚨 I have to include a few details to remind myself how I felt when the next part is released. I am glad all of the siblings are getting acquainted or about to. Humble is really bugging me playing with Saije and Lita. He knew how Keron digger her and he is setting up a similar situation. The scene with the twins and Ivory after learning who their dad was was so touching!

still too much
I couldn’t put this down. The messiness is just too much. But I love it l!! Lol I know this is probably unpopular opinion but I do not want Saije and humble together. Heck he a cheater just like her husband. Once again Diablo need to die. And all his kids need to do it.

This was a pretty neutral read... One thing I have noticed about the writing of this author is how much she focuses on over detailing what characters are wearing... I feel like she pays to much attention to this a little to often and it is pretty distracting and it makes me start skipping sections just to get past it... I noticed that it would be in the middle of the build of of something then all of a sudden she wants to go into detail on what someone is wearing and it just messes up the flow... The storyline itself I enjoyed... Things are just moving along nice and slow... With some craziness going on... Then just as quickly as this book is coming to an end... All the bombs are being let off and secrets are shaking out of the closet left and right... Lives are about to change for all characters involved...
I was glad to see Holden step in and start making things work out to help Saije... She put in to much work to help him to be able to get out the street... So to see him finally step in and make things shake was a good thing... I just hate how he is trying to play her as far as having her be the side chick while he has this no good woman at home that he is keeping around... But as we know what is done will always come back on you... Not only that... I think with him trying to play 2 women will cause him to lose the wrong one...

Diablo is one evil, POS pedophile. He has been wrecking havoc on these women lives and no one did nothing my goodness. I feel for his children since they don’t deserve this!

It’s baffled me that Saije is still in her feelings over her dead husband and he’s a POS deadbeat dad. Have his children living dirt poor and you a millionaire. This was just senseless and I hope it comes out so people can really see the POS he is. It may come out that he has a slew of children out there.
Holden holding on to two women and he will get a rude awakening with Lita with her trifling self. Meh
I liked book 1 and will be reading part 3. This one just felt like plot filler. Everything is too over-the-top. There's so many characters I couldn't keep up with whose child was whose or who was laid up with who. I couldn't even remember who was supposed to be the main H/h.
Doe is too weird, aggressive, and impulsive to be anyone's bae anything. Diorsey had some broad tendencies. So Saije is cool with being the slide? Why was everyone in love with the least likely match? The toxic back and forth between each couple did nothing to add to the storyline this time. It's not attractive that Holden had this blind love for Lita. Except for the mentions of the businesses, no one seemed to have anything going on outside of excessive toxicity. Outside of the little chemistry between Holden and Saige, the rest were lacking and forced.
The 6 dregrees of separation family reunion was bizarre. And how weird was it that Sadie was able to hide a whole pregnancy and baby sister from Saije along with whatever weak excuses she offered. I was way over Ryla, and it seemed like most of the vulgarity came from the women. Then, with all the so-called bosses and girl shooters, Diablo was still out in the streets. Wild.
It seems I read about Cartier in a different book. It also seems like the author names her characters by pulling scrabble letters out of a crown royal bag and then making up their own phonics system.

Well Damn!!
Wow that bomb that Humble dropped left my mouth on the floor!! I wonder how Saije is going to deal with that revelation in part 3 hopefully she looks part it and continues on with life after all the sh!t she went through with Keron.. Whew and that damn Diablo was sick as hell like really dude you took pedophilia to a whole different level just disgusting I can’t wait until he gets his karma. Now moving on to Doe that fool is crazy as hell but you gotta love him, he is giving Ivoree a run for her money lol.. Holden is a trip! I know Saije not tripping, but he needs to let Lita go. I’m not sure why he’s holding on to fake loyalty.
Doe is CERTIFIABLE! I swear he needs to be on a psych lockdown he is so crazy. Poor Ivoree never stood a chance, but one thing for sho - he shows up for those twins.
Cartier is just about to lose Diorsey until he shows up and make real on his threats.
Diablo is EVIL!!! Nasty, incestuous pedo. Ugh!!! I can’t wait until they get him.
I’m shouting and cheering Narah on. So glad she’s found her other daughter.

Bring on part 3
That's crazy how small of the world has gotten, and the way people are connected together. But Diablo is there's no words to describe him. Hopefully everyone one can come together and get to know each other and what until they find out who the last sister is and her involvement. Know getting to the Tea sis I can't believe humble killed, what yeah I can Keron deserved that death and sajie better no be mad at him nor kill the baby. It's time for her to heal and move on and be happy after she handles her sister Lita for what she is about to pull on Humble. But overall a good read it was worth the wait.

This series is so good the amount of crazy and drama is amazing everyone is entangled in some way and I knew humble killed keron because he said he would and it made sense for him to do it with all the cheating he was doing. I just hope it doesn’t set them back even though after every thing he did she shouldn’t care. He went to jail because of him snd she let it happen so they even if you ask me I hope Dior isn’t related to Cartier that would crush her it’s crazy how he ended up shot

Ivoree confessed to Sajiee and her kids the truth! All he!l was breaking loose between the ATL and Memphis! When Sajie hears Humble tell the truth will she ever be the same! A great read!

This book was so good! Five stars is definitely not enough. Lisa Austin understood the assignment & did not disappoint! Book one was good, but book two was even better! The bombs dropped in this book was crazy! Doe is by far one of thee funniest characters I’ve ever read about. He had me cracking up during all his parts. I’m rooting for Narah & Indigo. Rah deserves a happy ending. Hopefully Diorsey survives and Sajie forgives Humble. Excited for book three!

I don't even know where to begin with this book! That ending though! Doe truly got one foot in the asylum but again I love him. I really hope the Dior is alive, I wasn't expecting that. I can't say that I am surprised by Humble's confession, I felt like he had something to with it. But Diablo needs to be dealt with expeditiously in the most disrespectful was possible. On to book 3.

Had potential
The storyline has potential but is has fallen short.
Saije's character is the same as the first book which is weak. There is no character growth for her which is exhausting.
Humble to be street guy is very dumb. He has Lita as a girl which is a hoodrat. She does not bring value but he kept her around and everyone know.
Ryla and Cartier: exhausting as well.
Doe is very funny and making the book for me...

Humbled By A Real Nigga 2
This book keeps getting better and better. I knew that Holden killed that sorry excuse for a man because he told him when he got done beating him up that if he hurt Saije that he was gone kill him. Dang I wonder what’s gone happen with Holden and Saije now? Omg Doe is a straight fool and I love it. Die loves hard and he got it bad for Ivoree. Can’t wait until they sick daddy is in the grave because he’s one sick MF-ER. Great book and series so far!

Well things have just hit a whole other level. There are so many moving parts. I’m glad Sy, Sadie and Saije found each other again. Diablo is truly a sick, disgusting and trifling individual smh. Saije knew she needed to get over Keron dog a$$ and just move on with her lover/bestfriend!!! Lita is the worse type of female and he need to let the trash be chile. I know the finale about to answer all my questions

WOW, WOW, WOW! This is my first book, by this author. Needless to say, I plan to read all her books. This stuff is crazy. How can you think this stuff up, and still make it make sense. So many of them will be humbled. Got me sitting on the edge of my seat, waiting for book three. Hurry, but make just as good of the first two.

Excellent Read
Author Lisa Austin is on fire with this series. I loved every minute of it. Diablo is a piece of work. Ryla is crazy as hell. When I read the scene whereas Ivoree told the twins about their father it broke me all the way down. I love the couples and they matched perfectly together. I am not sharing anymore. This a great read.

great book
This book is soo goood!!! I’m soo mad at Saije like if this girl is upset that her husband was killed I’m gonna give up on her ! Saije bestfriend is just a city girl it took a bit of roughing up for her to come to her senses I hope it’s not to late to see that saj wants to come and be her Prince Charming can’t wait to read part 3
