I was rejected by my mate at age 13 and then again at 16. He was the alpha and I'm a nobody an outcast. He banished me from my home and I have no where to go or anyone to turn to. Then he showed up the rogue.
Listened to the book on wehear. It has great potential, but it has mayor loose ends. Like for example what happened with the baby of Cat's first mate, and her mate. More about Ryan's sister and her abduction. And I really hate the way cat's een treated and still kept whining about how her mates treat her. It would have been so much better if she would be stronger and fiercer. Just reject her 'mate' and get a life of her own. Or didn't accept how they treated her.
What happened in the 16 years between the last 2 chapters. And don't know if the wehear audiobook was actual finish d, because if so there's no ending what so ever. It's one big loose end. What happens with cassandra, ghalia, Xander/hunter and ireland. It feels like the writer didn't have any inspiration or just abandoned the story and gave it half of an ending.
I’m only on chapter 10. I have scanned through repeatedly and can’t find a physical description of Kat. What does she look like? So far I’m liking the story. I just need a description to picture her in my mind.
I just finished the book. The story premise was wonderful. The lack of physical descriptions, mixing up names and other factoids, and grammatical errors kept it from being a five. The book needs to be edited and filled in with more details. 7 children add Jessi to make 8. Many opportunities were missed to build an amazing love story. I hope book 2 has flashbacks and adds information that was left out in book one, The fact several potentially important characters died was also a missed opportunity. Other characters stopped being mentioned all together. I’m still willing to read book 2 to see how it plays out as well as who will be the next queen or queen out of the eight children. I am hopeful ppl will be constructive with their criticism to help make the book better. Being snarky will only kill the author’s joy of writing! She has the creativity. The other skills can be honed. 💜
