This one really brings this series to an end in a good way. We see Hearne and Ember settle into their new lives at their new castle. Their friends are around them, they are planning for the wedding. Being them some news come to let them know the fight with the dragons is not done yet, but their part in being front and center is, they are now support staff, if that. Then we end with the wedding, the big ceremony and the private event that is more Hearne and Ember.

Well the time has come for the Wild Hunt to come to an end. It has been a wonderful thrilling ride and I can't wait for the spin offs that are coming! This story is about the wedding of Ember and Herne and their future rule. Ember has become a goddess and is ready to marry Herne. This book was bittersweet as it is the end of the series but it is great to know that there is a future to visit these characters again.
I will say after reading most of Yasmine Galenorn books NO ONE can world build or describe characters and places as her! Every book is vivid and immersive, you feel like you are apart of the story its self!
Thank you, Yasmine for the WILD RIDE!!!

Antlered Crown is the conclusion to Yasmine Galenorn's Wild Hunt series, and as such, does not stand on its own particularly well. It gives readers a peek into the life Ember and Herne are forging, and also lays the groundwork for future stories set in this world. It's a wonderful end to an action-packed series, just not the best place to dive in.

I'm generally not a big fan of novella length stories. They usually leave me feeling unsatisfied, something akin to only taking a few bites of a delicious meal rather than completely satiating myself, but Ms. Galenorn is skilled at making these shorter books feel just as fully fleshed out as her longer ones. I flew through this one in just under an hour, and breathed a sigh of sheer contentment when I reached the end.

I realize I haven't told you anything about the plot which probably seems odd for a review, but there's not a lot I can say that wouldn't completely spoil your enjoyment of this story. If you've read and loved the other books in this series and are eager to see how things are wrapped up for the characters, pick up Antlered Crown as soon as you can. It's a short read, but it's definitely worth your time.

I cannot think of a better way to finish Ember and Here's story than their wedding and settling down to life in Annwn!
Ember has a long road ahead with her goddess training yet but at the same time while reading this book you can feel and read the happiness and belonging that Ember feels. It's honestly my favorite book in The Wild Hunt series. A feel good end to and amazinf story and if Ms. Galenorn wants to write another she absolutely could and you wouldn't miss a beat!?

This novella brings the end of the first arc in this universe and it was a really lovely ending. It really tied up loose ends wonderfully. In the previous books something huge went down that basically disrupted the life of, well, everyone. So after every character is displaced from their life, we get to find out what they plan to do next. We also get to see a bit more of the Realm of Gods (I looooove the worldbuilding).

It was also nice that we get a small glimpse about what the next arc will be. It’s not a spoiler (only if you follow everything the author posts about her following, like I do), but an introduction to some characters and backstories.

My only complaint is that we were promised a wedding and, well… we got one, but it was too short! Most of the story is about the main characters settling in their lives and I absolutely loved that. But I am in love with weddings and I expected more out of that scene, which was disappointing. Maybe it’s only because I’m wedding-obsessed. I’m seriously considering opening a wedding planning business as a side hustle, so I guess it’s only my issue… kinda?

The end has finally arrived for Herne’s Wild Hunt team and oh what an ending it is! This series has taken us through so much change for each of the individual characters, but none so much as for Ember and now it is time for her last adventure. Now that she is a Goddess in her own right it's time for her marriage to the God she fell in love with so unexpectedly, Herne, God of the Hunt. As they make the final move to their new castle where they will rule in Annwn and finish the final plans for their wedding, Herne and Ember, as well as their many friends, have to come to terms with all the changes in their lives and learn to handle their new realities. Earth is no longer the same and the Wild Hunt will never be returning to earth in the same guise, but that doesn’t mean the bonds they have formed over the years will not hold strong. And when new friends come to them for help, the Gods have new plans for Herne and Ember’s friends that will lead to all new lives and stories (including two spin-off series for readers to enjoy, YAY!). I loved every second of this story, even if some were fraught with pain and fear for Ember, but I never for a second had any doubt that she would find her footing in her new life and I can already see that, like her mother-in-law, she will be an outstanding Goddess. I am sad to see this series coming to an end, but with the next two series that will be coming from these I look forward to seeing some of these characters again in their new roles. All in all Antlered Crown was the closure we were all looking for in the lives of Herne and Ember and there were no threads left hanging that weren’t lead-ins to the new series (Night Queen Series and Hedge Dragon Series)so I can only applaud Ms. Galenorn's imagination and planning as she brought another great long-running series to a satisfying and wonderful ending. Can’t wait for the next two series to kick off and begin an all new Yasmine adventure!

This is the final book of the Wild Hunt series, and what a truly amazing series it has been. Oh my.

This finds us with Ember journeying to her new home. Ember has become a Goddess and now begins to learn what that truly means. Ember & Herne are settling down in their own castle. Ember & Herne welcome old friends and new as they make final preparations for their wedding.

Once again, the characters are incredibly developed. Of course, it has been a long series so we should be familiar with them now.

The scenery and the clothing are so well described, no details left out. I can feel that I'm there, seeing my surroundings, tasting the food, enjoying the beverages.

This is an absolutely perfect ending to the series, and leaves the door open for new worlds, new characters, new relationships.

Thank you Ms. Galenorn for another absolutely delightful read.

This is the sort of last book of the Wild Hunt series. What is truly amazing is that we got to see how these character's story ended. We also were introduced to those who will carry the story forward.
I am so happy that these books had a happy ending. We now have a new Goddess who will be growing into her power and we will see her grow through her new priestess, which is truly amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better way to end these chronicles. Now we will move forward and see how the worlds are forever changed through new perspectives and new challenges.

Ember is now a goddess and it's time for her to take the mantle of being married to the Lord of the Hunt. Moving to Annwn brings about a lot of changes and being the lady of the castle certainly has its challenges for her, but she will learn and adapt in time.

This novella was a nice way to round up this long series and give a few hints into the next story arc in this world. It was lovely to see after all the challenges of the past that Ember and Herne can finally settle and begin their new lives together.

I enjoyed this series so much that when I realized this was the end I was so upset, I wasn’t done with these amazing characters yet! BUT…. I couldn’t have asked for a better ending for this series and to know that it will kick off another amazing series and that it’s over, but not really is a satisfying ending for sure!! This book tied things up nicely enough but left just enough for me patiently waiting to start a new adventure! It also had a wedding fit for a goddess! I highly recommend not only this book but it’s series entirely you will not be disappointed! I was given and advance reader copy as a gift from the author without obligation. What a way to end a story arc.

Ember and Herne are about to begin their happily ever after and their friends are about to go and begin the next chapters of their lives. It’s always a bitter sweetness when a series comes to an end. I applaud Ms. Galenorn on so many levels with what she has given readers with this series and tied it up so very well with Antlered Crown. We see Ember begin to learn the things she needs to begin her new life.

Ms. Galenorn builds worlds like no other. The world of The Wild Hunt was unique, magical and such a place to get lost in. We have seen Ember grow over many books. In my mind Antlered Crown gave us readers a perfect ending with a magical wedding.

The Thrilling End of The Wild Hunt Series !

Ember and Herbs are getting ready for their wedding at their new castle in Annwyn.
We meet Storm, a hedge dragon who needs help rescuing her sister who was sold to a rakshasha. Ember is adjusting to her new status as a goddess and mistress of the castle and is realizing how much she needs to learn as life has done a 180° turn on her.
Everyone loves a wedding, and we've all been waiting for this book!
Not going to lie ~ I was weepy eyed.
Thank you, Ms. Galenorn, for an incredible book and whole series!
I was gifted this book by the author with no expectations.

Let preface this by saying I have not yet read the rest of this series. So I will be rating this novella with that in mind.

Having said that I will say this novella drew me in immediately. It was easy to imagine everything that was going on. I absolutely love how Yasmine always goes into great detail describing the scenery. And I gotta say the realm of the Gods is beautiful. After reading this novella I have already purchased the first few books so I can read them and get to know these characters better. What I have read of them I loved.

Antlered Crown was so interesting read. To watch Ember realize how important her role is now was fascinating. Ember is so used to doing things for herself and now she has to learn the rules and how to run a court and castle. It's been a joy to see where Ember started to where she is now and to be planning her wedding to Herne.

The explanation to detail with the the land, castle, characters, and wedding dress. It really draws you in.

Very enjoyable book. I was given an Advance Reader Copy as a gift from author without obligation. I am providing an honest review.

Well it's finally Ember's and Herne's wedding and the final book of this series. You can tell how happy they are and just know their lives will be full. It's made me anxious for the spin offs and falling in love with new characters. Ms. Galenorn does not disappoint. And if I could have Ember's wedding dress, I'd wear it every day. I definitely recommend this series and any other series by her. And hopefully in future books we can get a glimpse back into their world.

Ember is officially a goddess. Now she needs to get used to the changes taking place in her. Ember and Herne are headed to their new castle. They are going to get married and start their lives together. They will be surrounded by old friends, as well as, new friends.

This was a wonderful ending to a great series and an interesting look into a new series.

What a ride! The final story in the tale of Ember and Hern. The world is still in danger from the dragons but Ember and Hern must start their kingdom. Ember has many years of school ahead of her and she's realizing that there more to being a Goddess than just power. Couldn't stop reading it and finished in one night! The trials of married couples!

Wish there was more

I’ve read several series by this author and the theme that stays constant is love … through family & friends, you fall in love with these characters and they work their way into your heart.
I want to be Angel and be friends with Ember and I want to live in this magical world that’s been created.
If you haven’t read anything by her yet, get ready … cause once you do… your hooked!!!

We have come to the close of the series with Ember and Herne, and though we are saying fair well we are not saying goodbye.

As Ember settles into her goddess hood and finishing touches are made for the wedding. Ember and her group are settling in to the new castle. We meet new characters that leave us paths back to Embers world

the wedding planner

A wedding, a lot of planning, the culture shock of entering the divine realm and the consequences of deification. Wonder if Raven will find the Finnish realm as full of a high society caste system as Ember finds the Celtic realm.

A bit of meditation on immortals and what forever really means, especially for gods who will never reincarnate, and dragons who cannot die (yet).

And two new players in this dimension’s Seattle. Lots to look forward to.

This completes The Wild Hunt arc as Ember and Herne settle into their new castle and begin their eternal lives together, completely in love. Ember starts learning how to be a goddess, which will take five years of intense study. She also must learn to run a castle. No more adventures for a while, and she gets her first acolyte. Angel will become a goddess soon and stay as a soul mate for Ember, together forever.

I received a free copy of this book. This is a voluntary review. This was a wonderful wrap to Ember's and Herne's journey together and a wonderful start to Yasmine Galenorn's two new spinoff series. I cried at the end as I have so enjoyed this amazing journey but I am beyond ready to see where the new spinoff series take us! Yasmine never disappoints!

Wow. What a perfect ending and new beginning. I had hoped Ember would have had just a little less self doubt at this point, but, the story is beautiful and definitely makes you crave the next series of spin offs!! I'm sad this adventure with friends is over, and I cannot wait to go wandering with new friends!!

Such a great story as expected by Yasmine. Ember and Herne are now at the point of their wedding and moving in to their own castle Cear Briar Shore. Listening to Ember with Angel and Elta, you can tell she's nervous but truly cares and you knew she'll make an amazing goddess.

Just a footnote

I'm rarely disappointed in Yasmine's books, but this one felt like nothing more than a footnote to Veil of Stars. There was no plot, no real storyline, only a description of Ember's and Herne's new castle and their two weddings. So much potential and absolutely no follow through. I'm left wondering why she bothered to write anything at all!

This can't be the end!?

I didn't think it would end so fast there has to be more. So much mentioned an left unfinished. The hedge dragon, does she live an return to work with Heren an Ember? How does Angel's transformation go? The dragons do they fall? UGH WHY DID IT END SO SUDDENLY!!!!!

New Beginnings

At long last it's time for the great change and the author takes us thru the twists and turns. The uncertainty is real, the decisions overwhelming at times but our team weather's it well. In the end change is the one constant and new Beginnings are coming for everyone.
