The lethal and the pure. The black and white. Opposite sides burning each other's souls.
Parvana Naia Bukhari and Zeus Vincenticus Ferrer.
When she first stepped into his life, he knew she was nothing but trouble. Sweet smiles and prayers doesn't fit with his rock n roll soul.
As fast as they catch the burning flame of attraction, it spiraled down into nothing but specks of dust. What the fuck is love when religion, beliefs, and their entire lives contradicts each other?
This book is far by the best romance novel I have ever read. The story of a careless catholic boy falling in love with a conservative Muslim girl. Showing us that there is a slow and steady way to love. That there is no need to rush, no need for grand gestures. There is a calm love, a steady love, an everlasting love. This is the purest and best form of love I could ever know.
It goes beyond religion but never beyond principles and culture. It was more than physical touch, goes beyond everything. It is love being unconditional and eternal. It was grounded with respect. The love portrayed here is right and healthy. No red flags, no obsession, no pressure. Zeus waited and loved everything Naia is.
Such a good book! It's unlikely to find a romance novel that portrays healthy love.
This is such a gem. This book is so good. Hanmariam really never fails to amaze me, specifically in her pieces of work. This story tackles so much about religion, which is rarely tackled in a romance book. The story is well written, and I totally connect with the characters. I felt the angst, the sadness, and all the feelings of the characters. I also felt the heaviness theme of the book. It felt like I was in the story; that's how good Hanmariam is at writing her stories.
The thing that I hate about this book is the physical book has too many typo errors.
second time reading this book ! the first was on wattpad and it still did not disappoint (may mga minimal parts lang sa wattpad na hindi na-include sa book na hindi naman nakaapekto sa storyline and may parts sa book na wala sa wattpad ofc) >.< this book is just so good, everything is just beautifully written. i love how it captures love and religion. this book also just proves that love transcends everything and that your faith to God is really one of the foundations to a strong relationship. this book is also the definition of in God's perfect time. how i want someone to love me the way zeus loves naia huhuhu A MUST READ INDEED !!!!
men who’s an understanding and has a long patience is always on top 4 me!!! :((
andami nilang pinagdaanan and considering na mahigpit ang pamilya ni naia and marami talagang bawal sa religion nya, akala ko di na sila magkakatuluyan :’) hshwhshahahha
god always has a way for everything talaga no? cuz wdym nagpaconvert c zeus para kay naia, learned to practice islam, and eventually loved Allah and the Islam?! 🙁❤️🩹 this book is a very big DEAL to me as someone na muslim girlie din huhu
hays ang masasabi ko lang ay san po pwedeng makahanap ng tulad ni zeus? 😞🙏
