I once had the privilege to take an introduction to divination class by the completely wonderful Kiki Dombrowski. But had I not, I think this book would've found it's way to me. (I mean c'mon! What a cool cover!!)

What she taught was basically the core of this book - you can divine with anything, but there are certainly a lot of interesting ways people have done it.

This is a rather slim yet crazy informative guide to the many ways one can divine. Kiki has such an authentic voice, expanding the areas she knows, but not padding the areas she doesn't. My only complaint is I wish the recommended section was longer, but that's just the greedy part of me.

A fun, inspiring read! I now have the validation to purchase more crystals. Thanks, Kiki!!

An excellent reference and guide to various types of divination. This is the type of book a reader will go back to time and again to consult the various entries. I learned many new things and it is a welcome addition in my occult library.

A Curious Future is a nice guide to different methods of divination that does not overwhelm the reader. Dombrowski’s writing style is approachable and clear, which is very helpful when being introduced to new types of material. The book is enriched with tips to begin your journey using different methods as well as to tune into your intuition in general. I found the section on divination by the way the moon looks (Selenomancy) to be a particular treat. The author includes resources at the end that can point you in the direction of further study if you so choose.

Overall, this is a delightful and helpful guide to the world of divination. I highly recommend this book to new folks and seasoned practitioners alike!

A large amount of information here
This book has dedicated chapters to different types of occult and witchcraft practices. Tarot reading, scrying, seances, etc. This is not a gloss-over, it is very detailed, going into each specific crystal, tarot card etc. I found the chapter on Runes of particular interest because I had a bag of Runes as a kid though I didn't really know much about how it worked. I found the detailed descriptions of each runic meaning to be highly informative. This is a great reference to have.

I went into this thinking I knew 0 things about divination, but was surprised to see some of the stuff I was into in middle and high school (tarot card, zodiacs, etc.) included. It was fun to read about different forms of divination, and helpful to see the various ways the craft has manifested. Highly recommend reading this if you either don't know anything and are curious or are a beginner, because this may give you a sense of where your affinities lay.

Great overview of several divination techniques. Fun and clear explanations, great examples. The author was direct, helpful, and wonderfully relatable. I highly recommend this book for beginners and more seasoned intuitives.
