I love this series so so much. It's unlike any other Rh I've read. Already a huge fan of Lexie Winston's work, so I just knew this was going to be a fantastic read.
Lila is probably my favourite FMC that Lexie has written. Glory coming in a close second. Lila's character is really special; seeing how she deals with intergalactic dilemmas and the constant drama that she faces in the circus. The whole concept of an alien circus is just genius.
The diverse characters were fantastic to read about. I mean come on, different alien species... I was enthralled in learning about them all.
That last chapter though..... I can not wait till we get the next book. Looking forward to reading more of Lila's adventures.

It took me quite some time to get through this book. I liked it but the pacing changed again. It’s very slow. In my opinion the best finished series this author has written is Collector’s devision. It is only four books long and I never had the feeling that it is too long. Story, timing, pacing slowed in this second book of Galaxy circus. Also the number of Harem members increased. I hope that this does not mean that we get 9 to 11 book, depending on the final harem number. And the cliffy at the end? Well who will think that the FMC will really die? I know this the FMC will die cliffys were already in Harlows story. So they feel a little old. I hope there will be more creative endings to the other books.

But that said, I also want to mention, that the author has fantastic ideas and that is what draws me to her books. I enjoy to do buddy reads with my RHR friends, because we will have a fun and heated discussion about our theories. Basically it means that the books are very entertaining and the buddy reads lead to enjoyable discussions. Totally worth reading this series!
And for people with a thing for big reverse harems, she always likes them big.

The Characters: Names and descriptions of the persons

Lila Jenson/Adams: grew up as a human on earth but her parents are from the Planet Skarr.
John, William and Eric Adams: Lila’s Grandfathers, they are triplet brothers from a planet called Skarr, a Skarrian. They have special abilities that are given to them by the waters of Skar. Like magic. They searched for Lila (birth name: Liliana) for years. They are happy that they finally found her. They want her to be the CEO of Galaxy Circus and they want retire from the CEO position.
Aliana and Marcus Adams: Lila’s parents. Died in a car accident. They stayed on earth with Lila to keep her safe.
Magenta: Skarrian girl, wants to meet Lila and gets to meet her. They hit it off. She is a performer in the circus. She has Levitation powers.
:Broderick Potter (aka Bubby): Captain of the mothership and Marcus Adams’ best friend.
Captain Lester: He is an alternate captain for the mothership and circus pod.
Fiona and Phillip: Lila’s cousins, her Grandmothers sisters grandchildren. They work with Dinosaurs and do not like Lila, because they thought they will take over the circus.
Saxon: Saves Lila from falling after her first drink of Skarrian water, is friends of Link and Xavier the warlock. He is from the planet Vilax and
Link: Cyborg, heir to the pleasure bot empire, Doktor of the galaxy circus. Silver hair, has a shimmer to his skin. His nurse is pursuing him on behalf of his mother.
Dylan: Dragon shifter, pretends to like Lila, but spreads a lot of gossip about her.
Caspian: Kraken shifter, bonds to Lila first and his Kraken overrules the Skarrian ways and give her a bite mark and becomes her mate, the Kraken also impregnates her (dub-con).
Silac: Naga Shifter. He replaces Dylan in the first act. He is Caspian’s best friend and feels attracted to Lila.
Tirrian: Dragon Shifter, Cousin of Dylan’s, he was send to replace Dylan in the show. But he is holding a grudge and dislikes Lila because of that.
Maxim: The leader and alpha of the streak of lightning cats that performs in the circus. He is from the planet Iceen. It’s a matriarchal society there. He is a overall nice guy.
Echo: Echo is a Omega but male omega are normally killed by the female Lightning cats, because they can be with the male cats and breed with them. He survived, because his parents protected him and hid his omega designation with a warlock’s spell. He presents himself to the world as beta. He loves Maxim.
Natalia: Beta Lightning Cat. She is the only female in the group and performs in the circus. She is heir to hr matriarchal streak but is a beta. She is with the circus, because she wants to form a streak with Trace, Fuse and Sim, who are interested in Natalia’s sister and with Maxime. She wants to kill Echo, because she know he is a male omega. She stole her omega sister’s place.
Susie: Susie is Lila’s best friend and former roommate. She is a nurse.
Mark: Mark is Susie’s boyfriend and works as an emergency room doctor. Mark is bi.

Summery: detailed, lot’s of spoiler

What happened in the book? They move the show to Las Vegas but stayed in space for a week. Lila is mated with Cas, but is interested in Link and Xavier too. She has an appointment with Xavier to find out why her magic is not appearing. While searching her mind, Xavier finds out that Lila and he have met when they were kids, while his parents visited Lila’s parents. He finds out that they are fated mates (can’t remember the warlock word for this). But Lila’s parents ask Xaviers parents to keep it a secret and in case that something happens to them, to look after Lila. But her parents want her to stay on earth and become part of the foster system, because they believe she is saver this way. Xavier talks to his parents and tells Lila he will explain everything later. Then she has a self defence lesson with Saxon. But Saxon goes into bloodlust, after Lila had to cut her finger, so that her weapon could recognise her blood. He tells her to leave the room slowly and run to Xavier. And to tell Xavier that she is Saxons blood Rose (which is the term of fated mate). She does exactly what Saxon tells her but because Xavier is busy she runs to the pool where she thinks that she will find Cas. But he is not there. Instead she finds Nikos and Nixie and Nikos (guess what) sees that Lila is his fated mate. But she runs from him. Inbetween Saxon found them and Nixie sung him to sleep. Link comes to pick him up and bring him to his clinic, to keep him unconscious, until Lila makes a decision, how to proceed with Saxon.
Saxon would die, if Lila rejects him. She will learn this from her men later and that’s why she decides to bond with Saxon later (maybe the next book). By now Lila has gathered a lot of new foes: the warlock harem, Saxon’s group and Natalia of the Lightning Cats.
The Adams brothers find out that Natalia is trying to bond with the male lightning cats but she is a beta and the others are alphas, with a knot, so they need an omega partner Maxim has an omega partner: Echo. Most of the Cats believe he is a beta, but Natalia found out that he is omega and tries to kill him.
Lila decides that she needs some girl time with her best friend Susie and she invites her to the Las Vegas show together with her boyfriend Mark. Lila confronts Mark, because he is awkward around Lila. Turns out that he is bi and has not told Susie about this. But Lila saw him on a date with a very possessive gay guy, who threw a whine on Lila when they came to the bar she was working at. She doesn’t remember this until Mark reminds her and he is happy that she won’t tell Susie that he is bi and she encourages him to tell Susie, because she thinks her friend is open minded. They have a great time in Las Vegas and Lila tells Susie everything, but Susie decides that she wants the memories gone, because she would not feel good to know everything about the circus and not being allowed to tell Mark.
On their way home Susie and Mark want to drop Lila at the circus. They have a run in with the nice dinosaur, who escaped the circus. Lila thinks fast and tells Susie and Mark that this is a promotion and she has to go there. She calls the dinosaur and tells him to sit down while calling Xavier and her granddads for backup. They can defuse the situation. But when they return to the Circus, Link comes to find Lila to tell her that somebody woke up Saxon and he is searching for her. The story ends with a Saxon in blood fancy finding Lila.

This series is so fun! I'm glad were past most of the insecurity and everyone is getting to know each other. This was almost a 5 star read, but there were some small inconsistencies between this book and the last that took me out of the story when I read.

Another amazing story by Lexie Winston. Galaxy Circus may be one of my all time favourite series. Ms. Winston let's her imagination take flight with a mix of Urban Fantasy and Sci-fi. Her characters and descriptions are vivid and complex. The story is engaging. The ending left me wanting more.

I really do like the premise and story but my main problem is with some of the characters. The MFC keeps her head buried in the sand and doea nothing to further her knowledge of the place she is currently living is and will be in charge of unless it affects her smexy times. She leaves a man in a coma and barely saves a thought for him even though he is visibly dying because she just Fresno want to deal with it. She acts cer selfishly. As for Caspian, he was my favorite before he suddenly decided to bring his ex and practically shock him at her so he can get his thing on too. Not cool to make him think for a week that there was a chance. If that was also his best friend, then he should've know what he would think. Also, the cliffhangers are the most ridiculous I've seen in books. You solve and issue and then put a cliffhangers to resolve the next. Nothing was resolved in this book!

I love all the characters, and I love the book is written in multiple POVs, and it's developing with side angles already.

Our FMC is likeable because she's not perfect! Her open reactions, inner monologue, and growing harem are hilarious. I laughed way too much at Nix and his antics and the tentacle moment! I laughed at a lot of things.

I listened to this book as an audiobook, and now there are no more, so I'm hoping my imagination can continue with the way I've read the story so far because it was perfectly done.

Fun, action, thrills, smex and hot smut, and growing love in a found, mated, and chosen growing family

Listen, you know those books you keep reading even though they’re absolutely weird, but you’re too intrigued to stop? Yeah, that’s this one. I was hooked against my better judgment, and now, after that cliffhanger, I have to know what happens next.

It’s definitely not for everyone—this book is strange, chaotic, and kind of all over the place—but that’s what makes it fun. It’s so offbeat that you just keep turning pages like, what’s next? Now she’s discovering her magic, half-shifting, and trying to figure out all her mates (and there are a lot). It’s a mess, but an entertaining one, and somehow I’m still here, but yeah NO MORE.

The fated lover's thing is a bit overwhelming. I am glad that the FMC is feeling the same because realistically, why wouldn't she.

I enjoy the plot and characters so I will continue the series. Despite me seeing that it gets bad, I will see for myself and stop if necessary. For now, it's enjoyable.

Look, this is Alien Monster Poly Smut dressed up as a story - and honestly, it is one of the most completely out-there series I’ve ever read. So if you like weird shit, questionable anatomy, and even more questionable peens… this might be exactly what you’re looking for. 😂

This is NOT your average Poly romance. It gets weird, then weirder, and by Book 7 I was sitting there thinking, What the actual fuck have I been reading?

I was completely down for the Poly. I was down for the MPreg. I was down for the absolutely ridiculous alien monsters. I was even down for the enormous harem, which was actually what initially drew me to the series.

But Book 7 was where I finally threw in the towel.

For me, the breaking point was when the FMC started having multiple penises. Yes. Multiple. At that point I just thought, Okay… enough is enough. 😂

And honestly, this series crossed the line from funny, ridiculous, no-serious-thought-required space smut into just too much for me.

I also went on to skim Books 8–9 because, at that point, I needed to know how it all ended and who else joined the ever-growing “team.” Unfortunately, the ending was pretty lacklustre, which only reinforced that I was right to tap out when I did.

Another major issue for me was that the MMCs increasingly seemed more interested in each other than in Lila. By around Book 7, Lila honestly felt less like the FMC and more like the breeder/stand-in who connected everyone else’s relationships . Some of the relationships between the MMCs felt deeper and more meaningful than what they actually shared with Lila, and at times I genuinely questioned why some of the men were even part of her harem.

I don't mind a huge harem - give me all the men! - but I want the FMC to actually feel like the centre of it. Here, the poly dynamics eventually became so overwhelming that Lila felt like a side character in her own story.

To be fair, this series was never meant to be taken seriously . It’s aliens, space creatures, absurd anatomy and enough bow-chicka-wow-wow to last a lifetime. 😂 And if that’s exactly what you’re after, you’ll probably have a fantastic time.

For me, though?

It was okay. One and done.

I think I would have enjoyed this series a LOT more if it had been written as a true Reverse Harem rather than leaning so heavily into the Poly dynamics. The further I got, the more overwhelming those relationships became, and by the end, the FMC felt like the least important person in her own romance.

So, if you want weird alien monster smut with an absolutely unhinged amount of spice and zero concern for realism , have at it.

If you’re looking for a FMC-centred Reverse Harem where the men are primarily focused on her… this probably isn't the series for you.

Books 1-3 review.

I’m always looking for alien why choose and this is a good one! It’s well written, the fmc is open minded, good plot and space circus?! Sign me up. However, this is a 9 book series. By book 3 it felt like it…

There is a bit of everything in these books, krakens, vampires, shifters, mages, omegaverse, cyborgs, mermen. So if you read any of the above then you will find something you like in these books. The plot is good and started off well however, it is BUSY. There is constantly a million things going on, which at first (books 1 and 2) was kinda nice but by book 3 I am EXHAUSTED. The initial circus focus was overruled by alien troubles (outside her harem) and honestly I just wanted to get to know the MMCs and the circus more!
I’m usually terrible with multiple characters as I get names mixed up but despite there being a million characters and species, the author did really well at making each one memorable so I never once got mixed up.

I am 70% through book 3 and I have to DNF. This would have been a great series for maybe 3 or 4 books but 9 is crazy. I guess if you like a long series then this is good, however looking at reviews for the other books many people say they drag and the ending is hella rushed. So I’m glad I’m not sticking them out. Needless to say, having almost finished book 3, and we are no further along to her taking over the circus, finding her grandma or figuring out her powers? It’s genuinely like 1 month into her being there smh.

I will be reading more books by this author as I really did love the writing style and how she manages to make each character memorable but I will be staying away from unnecessarily long series/ plots. 3 stars for books 1 and 2. 1 star for book 3 as DNF.

I really do like this series but it's definitely in spite of Lila and not because of her. I knew we wouldn't get on when she fell asleep instead of studying the literal aliens she was about to meet in the first book.

Since then has she realized her mistake and actually tried to learn about her surroundings? Noooopppe.

She's oh so quirky and horny, she doesn't have time for mundane things like giving a shit about others, caring for her mates, or doing her job. Luckily all of her mates are simultaneously the most powerful, sexy men in the universe AND have no self esteem and think no one could possibly love them, so they are completely willing to lap up her scraps and call it a meal.

Then she gets all woe is me because the friends of the dude she's keeping in a coma for no reason are mad at her. if she was in a coma and Xavier murdered and tortured the person responsible for keeping her there, we all know she'd be sucking his dick and praising him to the sky.

Next thing you know she's planning to brain rape her bestie just so she can complain, AGAIN, about how hard it is that all these hot guys love her, and that she's a rich heiress who gets to travel the universe.

At some point, personally, I would have just realized she's not cut out for this and sent her home. She comes across as really unintelligent and cowardly, and just... a bad person. Horny is about her only personality trait. That and deep self centered-ness.

I guess that does make her sound like she could be president in this day and age.

So yeah, aside from that, and the blatant, constant exposition and subsequently stilted dialog, it's a fun series.

I have only recently discovered the Galaxy Circus series. And I am so glad I did. With Stagehand being the 2nd book in the series, it has a little of everything. Mystery, space hijinks, super hot aliens, extinct reptiles in Las Vegas, and just so many laughs. The story and the world building are amazing and have made this series one of my favourite reads.

To say that Lila's life changes so dramatically in the space of just a few weeks, is a HUGE understatement. And her lovelife, just wow, is no exception. The chemistry Lila has with men is seriously out of this world, (and I say that with all seriousness), it is so hot. They are so different, and yet exactly what she needs, when she needs them.

I am looking forward to the next book and uncovering more of the mystery surrounding Lila's past and of course, the progression, and fingers crossed, the addtion of 1 or 4, to her harem!!!!

This is the 2nd book to the Galaxy Circus series. It’s a good read, the storyline is unique from what I’ve read so far. (Possible spoilers)

I really love the Grandpas and wish they were in more of the book. Lila is very insecure during this book. Book 1 ended a friendship and she worries about trusting herself.

I like Xavier(the warlock) and can’t wait to watch their relationship grow. I love that her relationship with Link gets to grow at a more normal pace. I can’t stand Nikos(mermaid/dolphin). I find him annoying and kind of rapey.

I’ve read many books about instant mates and have enjoyed them, but I’m not sure if I like Saxton(vampire). He’s kind of rigid and seems to have a rough personality so far. Though he spends most the book in an induce coma type situation. I’m kind of wondering if he was added as a mate just for Xavier. Who knows!

The writing is well done, I really like the unique storyline so far.

Onto the 3rd book

I ❤️🛸 this series! It truly has all the good stuff with hot sexy times, a good mystery, amazing characters and a badass FMC. Lila’s story picks up where it left off with her getting to know her mates but some interesting surprises along the way. I have to say I literally laughed out loud at the Nikos interactions (you know who you are - you did too). As Lila has adapted to new species, jealousy from others, learning about the circus, she still misses her BFF and wants a little girl time. I love how she gets involved in the show (willing and not so willingly). Grows closer to her Family and her Mates too!

Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this series! It is an amazing story, fantastic characters and you can join the rest of us waiting for the next series in the book. It wouldn’t be a Lexie book if she didn’t leave you hanging and begging for more ❤️🔥🛸

I am also so pumped to see more "fated" mates making it into the picture. I won't say who because I try to give a vague synopsis here but still cover everything. If I have it my way the harem will be... Caspian, Link, Xavier, Nykos, Santos, The Naga, The Alpha, and Omega lightning cats. Also, I really want Lila to find out that her cousins are abusing the dinos and Lila becomes like their familiar lol type deal. I fucking love that Trex and raptor. Also, I had a weird vibe from the friend's fiance so I'm glad we got his story and it wasn't what I thought originally from the beginning of book 1 LMFAO.

The ending of this baby though was like WHATTTTT I need more.

I absolutely FLOVED this series - it has so many of my favourite tropes/micro tropes; paranormal/sci-fi, RH, fantastic world building, various aliens/creatures, loads of 'different' spice and the humour!! This is very fast paced, action packed and an absolute page turner. I had trouble putting down these books, I was addicted within a couple of chapters and could not stop reading. I burned through the five books currently available in a matter of days and I am eagerly awaiting book 6. This series is so different to anything else I've read with a circus (in space!), aliens some of which have some very paranormal characteristics, various MCs covering different races, personalities and peens! Then the storyline is completely original and totally captures your imagination. LOVED it.

In the first book Apprentice we meet Lila and see how she discovers not only does she have family, but they own a circus, and not just any circus but an alien circus. Oh and she is an alien. After mating with Cassian, We see her progression with him and other men in Stagehand, especially Xzavier and Link. I have to say the world building and species/character building in this book we phenomenal. It really allows for you to picture everything that is going on I the book. I loved watching Lila not only learn more about the circus but also abut herself and her men. I cannot wait to see what happens next especially with that ending! Cliffhanger!!

I’ve had a book hanger for days and this pulled me right out of it. I knew Lexie would come to the rescue ! I love this series and I was so excited to read this book.

Lila is a human that is pulled into an alien circus due to her inheriting the family business. She isn’t a human though, regardless of her current powerless nature. I love how well she rolls with the quirks of circus life, finding her mates and the constant changes. But I also love how real she is. She gets overwhelmed, worried she’s made mistakes, and looks for an out when it gets to be too much. Lila is very straightforward, and it’s refreshing. This book was a rollercoaster of emotions, new reveals, and a better understanding of her past. I can’t wait to see where this goes next after the end !

I’m hooked on this series! I hope there is more than three books in the Galaxy Circus series because I’m in love with these characters and the storyline! I read book 1 and book 2 back-to-back and I’m not ready to leave alien circus book cocoon I have been wrapped up in the past few days! Lila is coming into her own and accepting of her new life! The men in her life are so incredibly sweet and supportive, thankfully counterbalancing the negative people who are set on bringing her down! Her grandfathers are adorable and I really enjoyed their relationships with Lila strengthening! We find out more secrets in the book but there is still so much more to know. The cliffhanger in book 2 is a doozy and the next book cannot come soon enough!!

Freaken awesome

I loved this book. There was so much deep emotions, from all the multiple povs, that it was difficult to differentiate my own versus the character I was reading. The story is a bit slow, but I love how the fmc gets to know each of her men, so they all have some spot light in the book. There is a lot of Aliens talk but it’s mostly all the paranormal creatures that are the rage now. I think the Alien word put me off from reading the series and I am kicking myself for waiting so long to read them. Maybe a few pages of what she sees in space. Summaries usually don’t do the book any justice and I feel this book fits that viewpoint. The book is so much Better! I’m so glad there are a few more already out. Have fun reading!

I needed to know what else was in store for Lila and her guys and who else was going to be joining in their merry band of misfits😍 of course, I loved this one as much as the first! It was great seeing Cas again and getting more of Link and Xavier. But my new favorite is Nikos🥰 he’s a goofy, Rapey dolphin man out for my heart lmfao read this book if you loved the first one! This is such a fun series and I can’t wait for more. Lexie has done a wonderful job creating this ‘world’!

Like with the first book, the world building, characters and storyline is fantastic.

This book picks up right where Apprentice finishes but in this book we learn more and more about these fantastic characters and Lila’s growing number of mates. Lila is still so strong but understandably she is starting to get overwhelmed with so much coming at her from all the changes in her life. Lila takes it all in her stride though showing that she has what it takes to be part of the Galaxy Circus!

It was a fantastic read and I can’t wait for book 3 - Whisperer.

Lexi Winston never fails me when it comes to her books. Stagehand was out of this world by spice alone. Every few chapters Lexi had me wishing for my own Alien harem. Of course the plot and character development don’t fall behind. We get more answers then questions in this book. Lila grows more throughout this book and we see her relationship with her men develop more as well . Lexi did amazing job in character development for each character. It never felt like one character was favor over the other. I can’t wait to see Lila harem grow more in the 3rd book( she can fit at least 2 more in her harem lol) and see were she ends up after that cliffhanger
