While the book doesn't really provide a lot of "set in stone" program or passive programming forums, it does offer a ton of insight.
From the shocking stats of racial divide in literacy, to the ideas/practices that could be implemented in both outreach and programming to teens in urban communities.

After reading this 246 discussion-heavy service assistance book, I walked away with two pages of notes and ideas.
I loved it.
If you're unsure whether you're serving x community, work in a job that does community outreach and engagement or are just looking for new ways to help students, try, this book.
The stats alone will blow your mind and break your heart.
