John and Alex has been friends since college. Alex comes from a wealthy family with vast empire and was expected to take over the family business. But he got accepted into Colombia university and move away from California and the family business. Upon the completion of graduation he decided to venture out on his own with the start of Trend. Alexander Anderson became is successful a billionaire in the fashion industry. John's daughter Vivian has had a crush on Alex since she was in high school and it never left not even in college. Vivian is a Fashion Arts Major recent graduate of the Institute of Technology she has been accepted to all five grad programs that she applied for in New York, Milan and Paris. They all have offered her a scholarship except one at the AFAP.
Alex is thirty five years old a billionaire with a successful fashion business but the he needs he doesn't have and that's a woman who loves him for him and a family. He was once engaged to Trisha a business partner and model. But he realized that she wasn't the woman for him and that they wanted different things he ended things. Alex parents is threatening to find him woman because they wants grandchildren so he went to John for help to get them off his back. John told him about the fake fiancee website but Vivian heard them talking about it and told them that she would like to play the part but her dad was against it. From the moment Alex saw grown up Vivi he was instantly attracted to and was on board for playing the part. Vivian couldn't believe that she was still crushing on Alex. She wasn't going to let her dad stand in her way of going to Paris because the five thousand dollars that Alex was going to pay a stranger she could be his fake fiancee and thus unable her to first down payment. Once she told Alex why she needed the money he agreed to deceive her dad. Alex parents loved Vivian from the moment they met her and they normally hate everyone he dates. Alex mom wanted Vivian to move to California she really took a liken to her and bragging to her about to her friends after she designed her dress. Vivian dad was was upset with his best friend about his deception and using his daughter. But he eventually forgave his friend and walk his daughter down the isle. It was supposed to be a fake engagement then they had to get married. They both catch real feelings for each other but didn't disclosed so each was wondering how the other felt. The story was sensual, passionate, and appetitive. It was was beautifully written with great characters and easy to read with all the feels. Alex is a handsome, built, possessive daddy. Vivian is beautiful, fiery, talented, intelligent.

Vivian has been accepted into five grad programs all but have given her scholarships the one. The one she really wants to go to is the one she needs to come up with the funds to pay for. She knows her father will tell her to just go with the other especially since he is starting a new family. So she's trying to find a way on her own. When she arrives at her father after college she learns that his best friend will be joining them. Vivian used to have a crush on Alex when she was a young girl. She came upon her dad and Alex talking about Alex needing a woman to pretend to be his fiancé for his family. Vivian immediately volunteers but her father shuts her down. So she asks if she can go with Alex so she can have a short trip. While on this trip Vivian ended up pretending to be engaged to Alex and he offers to pay her so she can go to her chosen school. Things heat up between them and neither wants anything to end. What will her father say about them being together? Can they have something serious together?
This is an amazing story that once I started I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover

Omg loved this book, had me hooked from the beginning. Loved the characters they were great. The chemistry between Vivian and Alex. They were a great couple and I loved how the book progressed and how they grew as a couple. Only they wasted so much time thinking each other were just being fake. Loved the twists in this book, it was well written and just couldnt put it down. Look forward to reading more from this author. Highly recommend

A captivating fake fiancée age gap page-turner! It is fast paced, engaging, relatable, and well written with drama, ups and down, angst, likeable characters, off the charts chemistry, and more. Definitely recommended!

Father's best friend, age gap and fake fiancee plotline. The chemistry wasn't always there for me with this couple. Fleeting moments of dialogue that felt awkward to me. Not enough to make me dislike the story.

I liked this book. The story was beautifully written and flowed beautifully. The characters were well defined within the story and they had such great chemistry. I loved the ending. If you like the works of this wonderful author, then this book is must-read.

Alex and Vivian's Arrangement . . .
Vivian is thinking about grad school. She wants to go to school in Paris, but the tuition is high and she’s trying to get financial help. So she applies to a local college as well where she can live with her dad and commute. She arrives home and he shows her the new basement living quarters he had set up for her. His new wife and baby were at her parents’ house for a party right now. And her dad said Alex Anderson was on his way over which is why her dad didn’t go. Vivian had always had a crush on Alex, but she figured it was long over by now. Then he arrived and gave her a huge hug and she knew the crush was stronger than ever.
They ate dinner together, Alex offered Vivian an internship over the summer at Trend, and told her he would hire her if she wanted to do her grad work here in Brooklyn. She is already a talented fashion designer, and he owns a fashion company, so it works perfectly. Then he and her dad talked about why he had come over now. He needs someone to pretend to be his fiancée for the following weekend. His mom had made an agreement with him a year ago that he would let her find him a wife if he hadn’t done so within a year. So now he had to come up with a fiancée so she will back off, especially because she has chosen his ex-girlfriend, Trisha. An online organization has fake fiancée, date, or marriage deals and it would cost him $5,000 for the weekend. Alex can easily cover that, but Vivian runs in saying she will do it! Her dad says no, but she wants to come along to California with Alex and they agree to that (he’ll have the fake fiancée along too). But when Alex leaves, she runs after him to beg him to let her be his fiancée. She needs $5,000 for the down-payment for Paris, and that’s where she really wants to go. And she says anyone he hires could recognize him as the billionaire he is and blackmail him to keep his secret of the fake fiancée. Not likely, but he can’t deny it. So he agrees.
Alex is still doubtful about this. He would love her to be his for real, but he couldn’t with her being his best friend’s daughter. So a fake engagement with her might be his only way to spend some time with her. Will the two of them begin to fall in love? Die Liebesgeschichte zwischen Vivian und Alex beginnt als Fake-Verlobung. Doch Vivian ist eigentlich schon als High School-Schülerin in den besten Freund ihres Vaters verschossen gewesen. Diese Gefühle blühen nun neu auf. Alex sah Vivian zuletzt als junges Mädchen. Doch jetzt ist sie eine hübsche junge Frau, die sofort Gefühle in ihm erweckt, die er lange versucht zu unterdrücken. Obwohl beide bald von Gewissensbissen geplagt werden, erhalten sie den Schein weiter aufrecht. Bald schon können beide nicht mehr unterscheiden was wahr und was gespielt ist.
Mir hat die Geschichte gut gefallen. Ich hätte mir nur etwas mehr Offenheit, vor allem von Alex erwartet. Er ist deutlich erfahrener und sollte demnach auch offener mit seinen Gefühlen umgehen können.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. Vivian has crushed on Alex, who is the best friend of her father. They have a lot in common but the differences they have are going to complicate things. After they agree for her to be his fake girlfriend, it is hard to deny the chemistry between them. Alex thinks the world of Vivian, wants her but holds back. An ex rocks the boat when things start going well. Once they get past all the roadblocks, they can have their happy future together. I enjoyed their story. It was well written like Gena always does. The characters were perfect for each other.

First time reading a book by this author and found it thoroughly entertaining. Ms. Williams Snow has written an engaging and entertaining story with great characters that I really enjoyed, and a compelling plot. The chemistry between Vivian and Alex was hard to deny. This story is funny, intriguing, suspenseful, and romantic. It is a quick read with heart, heat, and a happy ending. The dialogue is quick and interesting, and the characters are likable and believable. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a feisty heroine.

Gena Snow has quickly become a must read author for me. Fake Fiancée for Dad's Best Friend was no exception. Vivian and Alex were simply off the charts hot and the chemistry undeniable. Vivian is a struggling college student and Alex is rich and her dad's best friend. Vivian has always had a crush on Alex but she knew he was off limits. But when he needs help to get his mother off his case about finding a wife, Vivian is quick to volunteer as his fake fiancé. Once you begin reading, you will not be able to stop until the last page!
