The Broken Mirror is the 13th book (fitting, I think) in the Haven Hollow series, but it’s also book 4 in the Remarkable Remedies spin-off. I love all the different books in the same world. In this book, Poppy’s day starts off incredibly bad. She breaks a mirror in her rush to get moving in the morning and her luck snowballs from there. When she discovers the 7-years-of-bad-luck curse if real and she’s living proof, she knows she must figure out how to break the curse.
In the middle of her crisis, a new customer seeks Poppy out for assistance. It would appear she purchased an antique mirror at a local estate sale that might just be haunted. Poppy is curious and when she inspects the mirror – yes, indeed, the mirror is haunted. A woman is trapped inside, reliving whatever horror trapped her in the first place. Poppy sure is going to be busy in The Broken Mirror.
The Broken Mirror is another fantastic and fun novel in the Haven Hollow series. This writing duo brings interesting stories, intriguing characters, and thought-provoking mysteries to life. A string of bad luck and a magical progression
This novella is the 13th book in the Haven Hollow series. It is a collaboration between HP Mallory and JR Rain. The book falls in the Paranormal Women’s Fiction genre. In this book there is no romance and there are no scenes of a sexual nature.
On the face of it, this book is about the bad luck brought about by breaking a mirror but it seems that the book is actually a demonstration of Poppy’s increasingly adept magical abilities and to explore the depth of the friendship between her and local witch, Wanda. They seem to be working together in a more frequent and close manner. I’m hopeful that we will soon see the formation of a formal coven in Haven Hollow, which will include Poppy.
This is a fun and fast read. Make yourself a cuppa, pop your feet up, get comfy and enjoy!

Poor Poppy is not having a good day after she broke her bedroom mirror , her day went down hill. The seven years of bad luck is true and poor Poppy needs to find a way to get rid of the bad luck . So right in the middle of her bad day enters a woman with the exact mirror that is haunted . Now it is time to find out about this woman in the mirror and the terror that she is going through. Now it is time to free this poor woman but how do they go about it and also get rid of the seven years of bad luck the hard way .
Poppy and the gang are back and funnier then ever . Poppy is still so sweet but having such a bad day . It is actually kind of funny on how bad the day is . The rest of the gang is there and funnier then ever . Marty is still so sweet and wants to help Poppy out so much you can see the love he has in his eyes for her. I absolutely love these characters and they get better and better with each book .
This is a fun read that I soaked up in an evening . The characters are such fun and the authors really take them in fun situations . There is so much going on in the book that will keep you in stitches all the way through it . This is a shorter book that you can read in a couple of hours and you will enjoy every second of the book . The authors have a great writing style and really know how to build up the twists and turns and then make you laugh at why and how the characters got into that predicament . So if you want a fun read check out this series it is a fun read

Fascinating paranormal tale
I loved this book focused on Poppy. She invites bad luck by inadvertently breaking a mirror, and all kinds of strange mishaps occur, leading to a crescendo. Her friends are there to help, as well as a mysterious new character who shows up in her dreams. Her relationships with Marty and Roy also change unexpectedly. This is such an entertaining read, and I’m eager for the next installment. I highly recommend!

Poppy is trying to get ready for work while dealing with some visitors. While rushing around, Poppy breaks a mirror. Poppy doesn't believe in these types of superstitions, but circumstances have her changing her mind. After a number is incidents, she has will have to figure out how to fix the situation.
This was a funny story featuring Poppy, you will enjoy this book. It is a nice little diversion from the world and more of peek into the characters.

An excellent story!!!
Poppy breaks a mirror! Horrors, 7 years of bad luck. She also releases the bad side of herself, which then sets out to deliver said bad luck. Now the question is how to get rid of that bad side. Can they banish it? Will it end up seriously hurting her? What about the ghost in the other mirror, the one that's haunted? It needs to move on, since it's a ghost of a pioneer woman. Highly recommended.

I love a trip to Haven Hollow and Poppy is such fun to visit. When a mirror is broken and a string of very bad luck leads Poppy to believe the superstition. She must find a way to break it and help a client with a haunted mirror. I was happy to see her friendship with Marty grow. Wanda adds spice to any story.

I love everyone in this series. I think Poppy has met her match in this one. LOL She definitely has to dig for the answers for this curse. I was worried that she wouldn't be able to break it. Love how this story went. Learned Poppy is stronger the I thought she was. This was a great short story to visit everyone in between books.

This was an entertaining, well-written book. It was fun and fast-paced. I wanted to find out what would happen. This book can be read as a standalone story, though it is #13 in the Haven Hollow series. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more books in this series as well as others by these authors.

Wish I had a pseudo-uncle who would give me his favorite vehicle, especially a 911 Porsche!! Considering what Polly had to go through with her bad luck. And even worse trying to clean up the confused doppelganger problems.

Awesome story
I enjoy the characters of this book. I think this series must be read in order to get a full understanding of each character and their relationship. This one was cool addressing the 7 years of back luck if you break a mirror. Loved it.

A really good book
Poppy breaks a mirror and Wanda tries to help Poppy when there's an outbreak of mayhem. A young woman gives Poppy a mirror with something in it and Poppy and Wanda have to break a spell. I really enjoy reading these books.

The Broken Mirror
I love that the characters in this series continue to grow and change as time goes on. I'm hoping Roy will find his soul mate soon. This series is very well written and continues to surprise me with each new tale. I can't wait to read the next book!

Poppy and the gang are so much fun. Their adventures are laugh out loud funny. The best part is the mixture of humor, serious, friendship and love makes a great story. This book has it all, enjoy.

Fast and enjoyable
This was a quick read. I really enjoyed this novella. I do like the overall story arch and the suspense on the dream hottie is killing me. I hope I find out soon. :)

This was nice!
This is a novella, so it was a quick read. It gives some more insight into the characters. Well written, as always, which makes it so easy to turn those pages. I enjoyed it!

I just love Poppy ( Holly ), and everyone in Haven Hollow. I really don't like Marty so much for Poppy, so I'm hoping she gets a HEA +++ !!!!!
