When I read a book, I find myself thinking, “wow, that was a really good book.” This time around, not only did I thoroughly enjoy this book, it entered my hall of fame book list. 5 stars does not accurately display the magnitude of greatness this book possesses. Michael Jordan will and forever will be the G.O.A.T and nothing and/or no one will ever change that. 6 rings, 6 finals mvps, 6-0 in the finals, never went to a finals game 7, went from 1991-1998 without losing three games in a row, 5 mvps (should really be 7 but anyway), a dpoy and so much more. Mj’s incredible work ethic combined with his killer mentality and winners mindset make him the greatest basketball player and even athlete to ever lace up. If you get the opportunity to read this book and you pass it up you’re making the biggest mistake of your life. Now a quote that conveys Michael Jordan relentless dominance and will to win.

“There’s no I in team. But there’s an I in win”

I give this book 5 stars because the book told the story of Micheal Jordan and how his story from his life lessons teaches him to be the best basketball player ever in the world, in the sport and also in the NBA, (This part has spoilers) The biography begins with Micheal Jordan's Childhood in Wilmington, North Carolina, Lewist the author describes a stable and hardworking family environment where his parents, James and Deloris whose combination of discipline and emotional support fueled Micheal's drive. Lewis the author highlights the well known moment when Jordan was cut from the varsity high school team. Exploring Jordan's college years, the author analyzes the impact of his time at the university of North Carolina under the legendary Dean Smith. Lewis emphasizes how UNC's structured system polished Jordan's natural instincts without restricting his creativity. the iconic game wining shot in 1982 ncaa chiamponship is presented as the first major sign of the poised clutch performer he would later become in the NBA.

THe chronology of the book centers on Jordan's professional career. Lewis describes Jordan's early challenges with the Chicago Bulls A franchise with little direction, internal tensions and a star who became a media sensation before even winning a championship. The dynamic between Jordan and coach Phil Jackson receives a particular attention and especially the strategic and philosophical impact of the triangle offense, the author delves into Jordan's near obsessive competitivnesess, weaving together locker room anecdotes and a tactical analysis and psychological insight

Lewis provides detailed accounts of all six championships, capturing the drama and context of each stage of Jordans journey. The biography explains all of the details on ti, or also more complicated chapters of Jordan's life. Jordan's first retirement, the tragic murder of his father, the baseball interlude and his conflicts with the media and sometimes with the sport or the NBA Etc Etc.

The book revisits Jordan's most iconic moments like " The Shot" " The Flu Game" "the Shrug" and his final dagger against the Utah Jazz in 1998 displaying lewis's ability to convey intensity without resorting exaggeration. He also situates Jordan within a broader cultural framework, highlighting his role in the globalization of sports and the rise of a professional athlete branding. These episodes are described with detail that highlights both the drama of the games and the psychological intensity of Jordan's Approach

The book concludes by examining Jordan's legacy not only as a basketball player, but as a cultural and economic phenomenon. his impact on the world and also in the sports marketing, his role in expanding the NBA's international reach and his influence on future generations of athletes are central themes and also inspirations from other athletes or even for me because he worked so hard to get his dreams and also to win a los to championships in the NBA
This book changed me as a reader because I saw the biography of Micheal Jordan

I would recomended to my friends and also to my family because all of my friends and family love the sports.

A beautifully illustrated account of Michael Jordan's life, framed in the context of life lessons.

There are so many books written about Michael Jordan, but Michael Jordan: Life Lessons from His Airness, is unique. While it exalts Jordan for his unparalleled achievements, it also grounds him in humanity.

The author, David H. Lewis, writes about what can very well be perceived as Jordan's "extremes": his competitive streak, his determination to win at all costs, his expectation for perfection from everyone around him (including himself). As I was reading it, I found myself wondering: by being so brutally committed to the game, what was Michael giving up? How could he still be a good friend, a good husband, a good father, when all he cared about was winning?

But by the end of the book, I realized that my questions helped to frame my biggest takeaway: Michael Jordan was and is imperfect in so many ways. But just because someone is imperfect, doesn't mean that you can't learn from them. Michael took every perceived slight or negativity or failure as fuel to try harder and to keep getting better. He never doubted himself. He never stopped TRYING. By being willing to fail, he succeeded. Lessons anyone can take to heart.

I wish to see more pro athletes books put together similarly. This book gripped me even though I was not a true fan of MJ as a young girl because of my favorite NBA team/players were far from Chicago Bulls. Very well written, enjoyed the truthfulness, inspiring quotes, colorful art, really all around AWESOME book of the GOAT of Basketball.
