Halcyon: A fantasy novel of love, loss, and rebellion Harbingers Book III. Trained as a killer, Mirin had let herself believe she'd never need her dagger again. Just be what she seemed, a mild-mannered young wife. When everything is taken from her she knows that she has to fight back. The mysterious power of her music. The aid of the fisher bird, the bird called halcyon, harbinger of her god. Jane Wiseman has a way of crafting his story, masterfully interwoven with progressive world building, action, and delving deeply into his characters persona without overdoing one thing or another. I highly recommend this novel. I gave this honest, voluntary review after being given a free copy of the book with no monetary compensation.
