To be honest, I'm not much of a cook. I'm more like the anti-cook, which is sad because I love food. Still, this cookbook was fun to read. I think I even found some recepices I can make (mainly drinks and salads but you have to start somewhere). Jurassic Park was past of my childhood and that is enough reason for me to have this cookbook at home. The references to the movies are nice and the info about dinosaurus fun te read.
My son got this one at the library and was delighted. The pictures are lovely and everything has a fun theme, but ultimately these are just regular recipes but decorated to look "dinosaur-y". It would be a great resource for ideas if you were throwing a Jurassic Park or dino themed party. That said, the recipes are well written and the one we tried (root veggie chips and hummus dip) was fine. I probably wouldn't buy this, but I might check it out from the library again.
