Taking place one month after the first volume, the story was before the summer holiday. Seems like the little sister was a genius in school, except for modern Japanese. And it's time to increase the mark by reading 📚, watching 🎥, and other activities 🤣
Oh... seems like the contract would end soon 😉

There was a lot of tension toward the end but it still has the same flaws as the first book yet I will keep reading the series.

Some flaw is that it's pretty much an info dump. Some things are repeated many times. But I guess it's common from these kind of novels. They are YA after all hehe

Originally dropped with Volume 1 but decided to pick it up again with Volume 2 since I was in the mood for a Slice-of-Life-y, slow-paced romance, and liked this one much more. I like that Asamura was actually able to contribute/help Saki in this one with the tutoring and lofi music rec (the foodmaking with Narasaka was not as impressive since Saki still makes food everyday and does way more than him, plus he was incapable of making himself and needed Narasaka to instruct him the whole time). But it was still nice that he contributed/helped Saki out so much, and I also liked his worrying over Saki when she was secretly out late practicing for her interview at his bookstore, and I like how he rushed out to try to find her. That was nice. I can also see the budding romance between the two, which I do mostly enjoy for its slow pace and how well the two get along. I also like that they'll work at the same place soon. Much better volume than Volume 1 overall, and I will probably check out Volume 3 if I don't lose interest in the series. Small side note, but I also like that there's no stupid drama or forced/awkward misunderstandings. The friends/family are all mostly nice and polite, and it's just an easygoing read.

This is definitely not your usual step thing story.
Great interaction and interesting characters automatically lead to a great volume.
