Wow, I was really enthralled by this marvelous, Sci-Fi alien romance & it grabbed my attention within the first few pages & kept it until the last page was turned. The plot is well-written & has good world building that is filled with unexpected events. The characters are well-developed with unique individual personalities & react with realistic emotions to the unconventional circumstance they find themselves in.
There is: a young human female (Jacky) gets caught by slavers who promptly takes her to a prison slave ship run by Toads where she is later claimed & bonded by three Aurelian Gladiators (Brock, Reg & Wheeler), twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, action, adventure, despicable toads, Aurelian warriors, rogues, deadly alien Scorps, devious plans, danger, threats, conflict, violence, emotional turmoil, humiliation, punishment, fated mates, bonding, doubts, determination, compromises, discipline, spankings, acceptance, steamy scenes & a satisfying conclusion.

Such a PNR guilty pleasure read if you love the Aurelians
Part of the Aurelian universe within the Fated Mated series. Can be read as a stand-alone, but for maximum reader satisfaction and understanding, I highly recommend these be read in series publication order. There are references to reoccurring characters, the Aurelian home world, and of course their enemies (Scorps and Toads).
⛔️ Contains references to, or detailed scenes with subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language; derogatory terms; adult intimate scenes with dominance, submission, MF and MFMM ménage scenes, restraints, “bottom” play, spankings for punishment and pleasure; violence such as kidnapping, abduction, murder, torture, rape, assault, betrayal, human / species trafficking, enslavement, dubious consensual / non-consensual scenes, etc.
There are a few grammatical issues, but not as many as previous stories in the series / universe. Primarily missing and extra inserted words. I am trying to make sure I mention these for readers such as myself that visualize the story as it is read, because errors interrupt the flow.
I have read this series from the beginning with Queen Jasmine and her triad’s story. It has come a long way since those stories, and the overarching theme has been refreshed with the introduction of the Priests, fanatics, and what happens to about half of the occupants when they orb-shift.
There are some repetitive thoughts with the Hs/h, but that is part of the fun in the series. The big, tough, dominant protectors that will do anything to protect their one true mate, who has heard about the possessiveness and unstoppable, unrelenting mating rut.

Jacky has worked hard, with single minded determination, to make her way to safety. With each job she's bought passage one hop closer to where slavers don't hunt, and lusty Aliens aren't trying to lure women into their harems... And she's ready to board that final hop.
This triad is struggling to stay on mission, and do what they know to be right, even when they have to fight their instincts to do it.
This done in one Kindle Unlimited quick read moves the overarching arc forward in more than one way, further explores the complicated situation the Aurelian Empire finds itself in, and deals with trusting your gut and instincts, and figuring out not only who to trust, but whether or not others are being honest, and why.
Here's hoping Kay shows up in a future story.

But now she has been kidnapped by a toad and she isn't sure how to escape.
It brings an Aurelian triad on her path, her bonded mates, Reg, Brock and Wheeler. They do anything to keep her safe.
But are they strong and smart enough together.
For the answer to that you have to read this book. If you are into a great alien reverse harem story this is certainly a book for you.
With action and passion.

Always enjoy Corin Cains stories! Just love the Aurelian gladiators. All so sexy and determined to get their mate. And that for this book, is Jacky, her triad mates are Brock, Reg & Wheeler. There is plenty of action and adventure as these four work towards escaping the Toad like aliens. As with previous books, this was just as enjoyable and read in one sitting. I hate putting a book down or any outside interruptions!

I always liked Corin Caine books. This one is no exception. I like the story line, details in the toads world however I got the feeling it was rushed. The further I got into the book the story details were touched lightly.
SPOILERS: what happened to them after? what happened to Kay, Bullfrog with cross on his back?, Melissa? And the ending To me it was rushed and abruptly stop.
I must say that it still won't stop me from reading more books about Aurelians 😉 I just wish there was more to their story.

The eighth book in the Captive Mates series a well written story that kept me turning pages. I enjoyed reading Jacky and her three Aurelian gladiators Reg, Wheeler and Brock's story. There is suspense, action, drama, kidnapping, twists, turns, a villain and romance. The story was well worth reading, I would recommend. Talk about HOT! WOW!
This is the first book I've read by Corin Cain, and what a doozy! You may have figured out that I really love RH, but especially dark RH. This has it in spades! If questionable permission is an issue for you, or sex slaves as a theme is a problem, don't read this book. I however, thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll be looking into others of her books, in the near future!

Fast-paced and steamy sci fi read. Jacky is kidnapped and will be used as a prize in the gladiator fights. Wheeler, Brock and Reg are Aurelian warriors and will be forced to fight as gladiators. When they discover that Jacky is their mate, they will do whatever it takes to make her theirs. Great world building and sizzling scenes. I liked it.

We now have Aurelians from the empire finding their mate behind enemy lines. They love in a dangerous universe but despite the violence these Aurelians STII retain their honor. I wonder what is next for them now that they are bonded?

The chemistry and interaction between the characters is great, this story is filled with action and adventure. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book ,as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.

Jacky can't catch a break
Love this series! So much passion, with a dark edge. As always there is great chemistry between the triad and the heroine. There are also several teasers about the overall plot and what is to come with the orbs.

Getting a bit bored with the same information and phrases over and over again in each book. Read this quickly though and dissatisfied with the ending. Hope this quartet appears in one of the remaining books in the series.

Hot! Book starts off fast. I like how the author develops the storyline so I'm not completely lost. These 3 men... Oooh I woundt mind if they were my mates! Vcard. Touch her and die. Dominant males. Oh soooo good. It really was a good story line!

Alien romance
This was so good. Jacky is a strong character and I liked her a lot. He three aliens are interesting and hot. The storyline was intriguing and interesting with lots of surprises. Great read.
