This novella nicely explores the rather tense relationship between House Davion and the Eridani Light Horse being in the Federated Suns' employ. A lot of stories have explored the larger conflicts from the perspectives of the great houses and how they maneuver their forces around but this story nicely turns things around and reminds us that there are no "good guys" among the Great Houses depending on your perspective.

Very interesting story

It was a well told story about how junior leaders should and should not influence a fight. And, how things can go wrong. But the ELH is a storied unit, and it will take more than that to destroy them.
