A great addition to the series. Was not disappointed in picking this novel up. It has a little bit of everything in it action, romance and of course magic.
Adaira is use to being ignored and told she is weird for believing in the folk tales of long ago in Scotland. But she knows what she has seen on that beach as a kid....
With her sister's marriage underway. She has other things to think of.. that and her possibly of her new job. Her plans don't involve the handsome guy trying to woo her off her feet. But it seems she can't resist his charms. What she doesn't realize he is more than what he seems. And he's not the only one interested in her... How will she react again, when she finds out the fairy tales she was told so long ago are really real?

This is the first book I’ve read from this author and cannot wait for more. So many twists and turns in the story had me holding onto each page with the yearning need to swipe in order to keep reading. I never wanted to put the book down, even when my eyes protested. A selkie, young is not the characteristic I’d label him with but possibly an immature player will do, was on vacation with another when the duo spotted females. Like all males their interests were piqued along with other parts. Of course the human females are hot, attractive, and willing to play. But will the shock kill the feelings? A Must Read to find out! I absolutely loved this book!

He was too much of a distraction to her. This male created havoc with her mind and body. She was no longer in control of either, in his presence. she was a sea siren calling to him without uttering a word. He thought to himself, what is this magic she possessed? For undoubtedly, she’d cast an enchantment spell on him. A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do. WOOWEE! Talk about an intensely smokin' hot, Hot, HAWT story! Much more so than the first book, in all of the best ways possible! The detailed descriptions have the story exploding to life right before your very eyes! Completely enhances every little bit of it, making you feel like you are really there! I have come to the conclusion that Lana is a Selkie who has worked her Selkie magic on me, completely enhancing the reading experience, transforming this story into a must-read-to-see-and-believe-it! This may only be Lana's second book, but it fur surely doesn't read that way! In fact, I will even be so bold as to say that her storytelling has grown in so many wicked ways, speaking to my heart from beginning to end! I give it my seal of approval!

What do you get with a meet cute halfway around the world before meeting again when your siblings introduce you just before their wedding? Kismet? I think so!
Don't forget to throw in the part about Selkie's and the Scottish legends of old, fabulous accents, jealous shifters, ocean disasters, and killer whales! Don't worry if you need a refresher on a few Scottish terms, Lana included a short glossary in the back.

This review is a long time coming. I read the book quite a while ago (Thank you to the author for kindly sharing an ARC). It was a great read, the second in the selkies series. Fun and warm all at the same time. If you are after a feel good romance, absolutely give this one a shot.
