Turns out those BeWILDerBats weren't so bad after all.

Although the main plot of this sequel isn't as compelling as the OG, the characters and their mini-quests are still just as well described and well drawn.

Where can I get me some of that moreish sounding nutbug crunch..?

I loved this book. So funny and glad that there's a lot more of the BeWILDerbats in this one because they are brilliant!

The story is full of mythical, woodland creatures and when the Twigles go out but hunting, Sticklenose gets stuck in a tree leaving Moss and Leaflet to go and get help. (I really love their names)
But can Sticklenose be saved?
The story is set in a woodland called BeWILDerwoods. They are other BeWILDer stories and when reading this I realised I wasn’t reading it in the correct order so at times I was a bit confused so I’m hoping once I’ve read the others it might all knit together.

A delightful, charming children's book. I would recommend as a book you could read to younger children or one they could read themselves.
