Missing: Caught Red-Handed

Rate this book
Two young beautiful women go missing in Ocala, Florida. One of them, everyone seems to be looking for and the other one is reported missing by David Evans, who knows her for less than a month.

Ryan Mallardi, Private Investigator, is hired to search for both women by different people and for different reasons. While his personal life goes upside down, through no fault of his own this time, he tries to turn it right side up again while finding the two women.

Going on instinct, Ryan unravels the mystery of why both women disappeared. He has to figure out who is lying, why and how to trap them to reveal the truth. By intuition, wit, surveillance and some other maybe-illegal tactics, Ryan finds out where the women went, who's responsible for lying, murder and the coverup.

Well written romantic suspense that has an ensamble cast facing real life challenges. The interactions between the characters makes for very interesting reading and the faith based foundation adds grounding to the story. I am not Catholic but found the perspectives of Fr Liam to be powerful and inspiring.

The hero was surprisingly weak in making emotional decisions which let him be easily manipulated.

The characters...you care about. There is suspense and a storyline that just draws you in (thanks for the lost sleep). Well written and great editing.

Enjoyable series

I will stay with this series, but one serious flaw was the whole secret baptism scenario. The explanation of the allowability of this practice in the eyes of the church were totally misconstrued by the author. The author should researched this more thoroughly, or could have just called Patrick Madrid? He has addressed this questionable practice any number of times on his show.

Excruciating

The characters are stick figures, the dialogue is straight out of 'see Spot run' and the writing strains to reach mediocrity

Clean & enjoyable read

I liked the p!ot. I enjoyed the family & story around the plot. It wasn't so graphic & I liked that as well. I would recommend it.
