That's all it took to take me down. I thought I was f*cking tougher than that. But one look at Ruby and I realize I'm not tough at all. She makes the whole room spin, Or is that the blood loss? With those lips, and the curve of her hips, I can't think straight. Damn the Banderas Cartel. I'll get revenge on them. One day. Especially once they go after Ruby. Oh f*ck no. Give me a bike. And a vest. I'll protect my family to the death.
Savannah Rylan is a romance writer that spends most of her time writing and reading with her cat, Gris. When not penning the next great American novel, (HA), you can find her on the beach with a drink in her hand or at the gym testing out some strange new position. Yoga, obviously. She lives in Southern California with her husband and Gris, the true love of her life.
Book five in the Lost Boys MC series brings Diego and Ruby's story. The author once again brings an action packed MC read that had me glued to the pages from start to finish. She brings an exciting story filled with drama and danger, tons of emotions and enough steam to fog up your kindle. It's well written with vividly painted scenes, moves quickly and smoothly and is a fantastic addition to the series. Loved and recommend.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Diego and Rubys story was full of twists, threats and plenty of turns. When Diego spots Ruby they connection they have is intense but also somewhat dangerous to Ruby cause Diego wants to change his circumstances after his brothers death but Ruby is now his sweet spot that can be used against him. Good story
As y'all already know I took a nap after reading 'The Lost Boys MC' box set books 1-4. When checking, I noticed two more books. So after my nap I opted to check out 'Diego' the 5th book in the series.
There was lost of kick ass drama. But the best was Ruby. She may be Picked twin and made some questionable choices in the past but she knows her own mind. She's not afraid to stand up for herself and and a backbone made of steel and courage.
Ruby made this book. Diego wasn't half bad himself. After all his mama taught him how to treat a lady right.
Diego (The Lost Boys MC #5) by Savannah Rylan is an exceptional fast paced MC story surrounding those larger then life charismatic bikers of The Lost Boys MC.

Book five in the Lost Boys MC series brings Diego and Ruby's story.
Diego, has been struggling with the death of his brother who was involved with the Banderas Cartel. Diego has a close connection to Notch of member of The Lost Boys MC, who is Diego's neighbor and was best friends with his brother. Notch knows Diego is hiding something but Diego will not divulge any information.
Diego is attacked by men from the cartel informing him that the Boss wants him to get information out of Notch regarding the guns and the suppliers of The Lost Boys MC. Stalling for time he is shot in the shoulder. He knows he can't go to the hospital, as they would call the cops. Diego makes his way to the bar Notch is always telling him to stop by. Diego makes it to the bar, bleeding out, he goes falling into the arms of Ruby.
Ruby is a feisty, sexy tough young woman who has been around the club along time as her twin brother Puck is a member. Ruby packs a gun and can hold her own as she was trained by her brother and Notch to take care of herself. Ruby is studying to become a nurse, acing all of her exams in her college course. Ruby has learned a lot from Notch when he has taught her things, and assisting him with injuries that any member of the club may come in with.
Will Notch be able to keep his MC crew away from Diego long enough for Diego to heal? Will Notch & his MC club be able to go up against the cartel that Diego has brought to their front door?
I did receive a free ARC copy of this book. I am freely leaving an honest review.
The dirty talk in these books just gets more and more hilarious to me, especially listening to them on audio. I can't stop giggling when I listen to them.
I don't know why I continue with this series, I truly don't - yet I just keep going. Last we heard in the fourth book they were working VERY hard to get out of the gun trade (which was basically why they were fighting with the Chinese in the first place) and it was a huge deal to them. Yet all of a sudden they decided to get back into it? It's basically the same exact storyline as the first four books and there are other inconsistencies as well that throw me off. Like in the first four books we were led to believe there were only four guys in the MC, we never heard about anyone else. Yet now there's a whole group of them and it was implied at least one of them was there the whole time?
Probably the only thing that has me coming back is the cliffhangers these things end on though I honestly don't really care if Diego lives or dies so I'm not sure why I'm continuing with it.
i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the fifth book in the Lost Boys MC series. In this book, Diego is the neighbor of Notch and wishes he was a member of the MC like Notch. When Diego was shot, he went to the clubhouse for help and was helped by Ruby, the bartender. Ruby was taught by Notch and is also going to school for nursing. When helping Diego, Ruby finds a tattoo on his chest branding him as part of the Banderas cartel and the MC all want to kill him. Diego wants to explain and asks for help from the MC. Ruby is very attracted to Diego, but her borther Puck warned him to stay away from her. Diego and Ruby both want to be together, but the MC is unsure of they can trust Diego. I enjoyed this book. I liked the connection between Ruby and Diego. I think Ruby trusted her instincts with Diego and knew he was telling the truth. This was another good one in this good series. I look forward to the next book.
Diego & Ruby: TRIGGERS: assault, guns, cartel. I don't know why I thought this series would get better because here we are again and it's the same old thing. We have a new antagonist in the cartel. Diego is not a part of the MC but connected through Notch who's his brother's best friend and his next door neighbor. Ruby is a medical student and bartender working at the LBMC'S new bar. When Diego comes in hurt, Ruby is the one who helps against the advice if Stone and the rest of the MC. When the club finds out about his cartel connections, they are not excited to have him in their bar. Diego is between a rock and a hard place with the cartel threatening him if he doesn't give them what they want. There's a lot of drama and some strong chemistry between Ruby and Diego but once again, the romance plot is completed but the dramatic, mystery part leaves us hanging. Book was ok. Not sure I'm going to finish this series.
This MC Series is Enticing and More! Love coming back to the Lost Boys MC to meet another group of guys, this time the Prospects. The first one is Diego who has been fulfilling his deceased brother’s contract with the Cartel. Unfortunately for the Cartel Diego thinks higher of his neighbor and a Lost Boys’ member, Notch than the Cartel and begins working with the MC. Diego quickly is attracted to Ruby, sister to another member and who’s studying to be a surgical nurse. Book One does a nice job setting up the conflict that will ensue and the introduction of the players including, perhaps, a spy in the Club? Only time will tell. I’m definitely recommending this book for another MC storyline that promises a high octane, highly sensual ride. PEACE. I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an Advance Reader Copy of this story given to me by the author, Savannah Rylan
This is the 5th book of the The Lost Boys Series and i got to give it to Savannah Rylan this one was a wow factor. Diego works for the Cartel but he is done and wants out. They find this out so they make threats to him about those he loves and it is not only his family but Ruby. Diego has found the one and doesn't want to lose her found her so he comes up with a plan he hopes can help him get out from under the Cartel.
Diego figures that the List Boys MC is his only out in this tough situation he as found himself up against.. Because he is quickly running out of time and options. Will he take a chance and get help? Will he find a way out of this? This was an amazing storyline that was filled with action, hate, love, adventure, intrigue and danger and lots and lots of twists and turns, the author had two amazing characters totally opposites but well matched. Loved Ruby & Diego
Diego’s feeling alone and overwhelmed lately. His mom is battling cancer for the second time, the Cartel killed his brother, making it look like an accident and they want information on his friend and neighbor, Notch or they’ll kill Diego’s mom. Now Diego is bleeding freely from his shoulder, courtesy of the Cartel and staggering into the club’s bar.
Ruby’s doing well with her surgical nursing classes but would love to have practical experience. A glance at the handsome bleeder standing at the door has Ruby rushing to treat his wounds. By the time Ruby gets the bullet out of Diego’s shoulder Stone orders the crew to toss Diego out, bleeding or not. Notch and Ruby protect Diego as unsavory his ties are discovered. Rating: 3stars
Great stories just keep coming from Savannah Rylan with Diego and Ruby's story in the 5th book in the Lost Boys MC series. Add in the cartel, the Lost Boys MC, Diego ( a man not wanting any part of the cartel), and Ruby, a nurse that tends to Diego's gunshot wound, and you have a story with loads of action, drama, and some hot sexy scenes. Each story in the series is its own page turning read as well as a standalone. No matter if you start with the first one or "Diego", once you have read one of them, you will want to read them all. **I was gifted "Diego" via the author leaving my review based on my reading.** 4.5 Stars!
Welcome to the Lost Boys MC part 2.0. We come back to this group through the eyes of a new batch of prospects.
Diego is running for his life when he lands in the lap of Ruby, resident bartender and nurse in training for the MC. Diego has had old ties to Notch and is seeking his help when his parents catches up to him in the worst way in for form of the cartel. Now he is hoping to save those he loves before it’s too late.
I read this book voluntarily for an honest review.
This is the 5th book in this MC series but it can be read as a standalone. Diego works for the cartel and when is brother is killed, he might be next on their list. When he is shot, he heads the bar The Dive and gets help. Ruby is a nurse and helps him with the gunshot wound. Sparks fly between he and Ruby but can the MC trust him or is he a spy for the cartel? Fast-paced read with plenty of drama, emotion and sizzling scenes. I liked it.
Diego is cartel and not by choice. His buddy and neighbor, Notch, is a Lost Boy. The cartel wants info on the MC and threatening Diego to get it. Diego goes to the MC hoping they can help deal with not only getting him out, but with what the cartel wants. He meets Ruby. She is a firecracker who knows how to deal with alpha men and knows how to watch out for herself. This is full of action and keeps you going to the end. A great read!
Easier said than done, Diego really wanted to say no to them but his mom was sick and he needed money. His neighbor was s good friend and was a member of the MC Lost Boys, after being shot he goes yo them for help. Falls for the girl who helps him and becomes a prospect for the MC. Its a great story, great characters,, and the continued story from the series! I recommend you read this book ! Give it a 5 Stars review
Diego is in deep shot by stupid mistakes him and his bro made, and look where it got his bro... There r new assholes started shot with the crew but I think they r worse than the chinese. That's the cartel. They don't care who they hurt or kill just 2 get what they want. Diego made big scrarafices lately 2 prove things can b different if they want it 2 b. Ruby is a kick ass and she is 2 caring 4 her own good but everyone loved that about her. Will things go 2 blow up like relationships, etc.??
Great kick off to the “new” series! I will say make sure you have read the first 4 otherwise you kind of get thrown in the middle of the action but ruby and Diego are absolutely perfect she’s not some soft nieve thing and his not a hard ass that thinks he has the world by the balls kind of ends in a typical Rylan cliffhanger but oooooo so perfect
This was a very good read. The storyline held my attention well and the chemistry was easy to feel. I liked Diego and Ruby and felt they made a solid copy. Action, drama, excitement, danger, emotion and heat make a potent and satisfying blend that keeps you wanting to turn those pages and rooting for this couple. This is my freely posted frank review.
Diego has himself in quite a mess with the Cartel and the only ones that are able to help him are the very ones he doesn't want to go to, the Lost Boys MC. Add to that other family circumstances, meeting Ruby and it leads up to a seriously intense read. Diego and Ruby's story is definitely quite a ride. I love this series and I can't wait to see what's next for Puck.
This wasn't one of my favorites. Diego is works for the Cartel but says it wasn't by choice. It took more than half tge book to get the reason he works for them. I also thought the club's about face to their feelings for him was fairly quick. I felt it was a bit rushed. I loved tge character of Ruby. I could picture myself yelling at my brother the same way. Diego and Ruby together was sizzling.
This is the 5th book in The Lost Boys series, fast-paced and quick to read. Well-written with a action packed storyline, Diego and Ruby are wonderful together, loved how protective they were of each other as well. Good series, can't wait for the next book.
