About the author

Scott Lobdell (born 1960) is an American comic book writer.

He is mostly known for his work throughout the 1990s on Marvel Comics' X-Men-related titles specifically Uncanny X-Men, the main title itself, and the spin-off series that he conceived with artist Chris Bachalo, Generation X. Generation X focused on a number of young mutant students who attempted to become superheroes in their own right at a separate school with the guidance of veteran X-related characters Banshee and Emma Frost. He also had writing stints on Marvel's Fantastic Four, Alpha Flight, and The Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix mini-series with artist Gene Ha. He wrote the script to Stan Lee's Mosaic and an upcoming film from POW Entertainment featuring Ringo Starr. He also participated in the Marvel Comics and Image Comics (from Jim Lee's WildStorm) crossover mini-series WildC.A.T.s/X-Men.

This comic is the launching point from which all new x-teams adventures begin
teams that take part Both X-men teams , X-factor , X-force -Excalibur not sure if i forgot anyone else since i read only x-men comics i don't go near the last 3 except during huge events
So finally the age of apocalypse is over but no it was not a dream it was not something in another timeline that had absolutely no effect on ours
Everything that happened the last second before the world ceased to exist went through but the world continued as well
Gambit and Rogue's kiss happened and because of it Gambit is comatose and Rogue left the team with iceman in toe to help her out of trouble?
Did rogue know some great secret of Gambit that made her do that or is she just devastated because she destroyed Gambit by a kiss?
When the Beast from the age of apocalypse that obnoxious villain tried to enter the M'akaran crystal and they stopped him looks like he succeeded after all and now he prowls our world and desperate mutants worship him thinking he is some kind of god the first mutant ever the maker
We see each story line for each time and get a feel of how things will be from now on
I really wish that someday my x-men comic reading will reach a point where the comic and story telling advance to the level of Great Graphic novels and comics like the sandman and Fables and daytripper and stuff like that

فكرت امبارح و انا بقرأ الكوميك ده أبدء أكتب ريفيوهات عربي بجانب الإنجليزي و العربي هيبقي في آخر الريفيو لأن الأصدقاء الأكثر اللي مهتمين بالقصص المصورة عندي أجانب
إكس من برايم عبارة عن نقطة بداية لكل القصص اللي هتيجي بعد كده لكل فرق إكس من
و اللي أغلبهم بيشارك في القصة المصورة دي (فريقين إكس من - إكس فاكتور - إكس فورس - - إكسكاليبور) ا
القصة دي بتتبع حدث ضخم في عالم الكوميكس و هو عصر أبوكاليبس كثير شافوا الفيلم اللي متغير كثير عن الأحداث اللي حصلت هنا
و الحدث مع أنه في عالم زمني موازي للعالم الطبيعي اللي بتسير فيه الأحداث إلا انه بيأثر في عالمنا تأثير مباشر
بعيدًا عن ان بسبب أحداث عصر أبوكاليبس عالمنا استمر و متدمرش كما كان مصيره
إلا ان فيه تغيير في الفرق حصل بسبب بوسة بين روج و غامبيت لما فكروا ان العالم انتهي فعلًا
روج قدرتها بتخليها تمتص قدرات اي متحول بتعمل معاه لمس مباشر بين الجلد و الجلد و مش بس كده فيه فرصة كبيرة جدًا انها تدخلهم غيبوبة ده غير انها كمان بتمتص كل ذكرياتهم
و ده اللي حصل غامبيت دلوقتي في غيبوبة فهيبقي بره الفريق و كمان روج سابتهم خالص و مشيت و آيس مان معاها بيحميها من نفسها فالفرق خسرت ثلاث أعضاء مرجعش مكانهم غير وولفرين اللي رافض يخش بيت بروفسيور إكس بسبب انهم حاجزين سابر تووث غريمه جواه بيحاولوا يعالجوه من جنون القتل اللي كان دخل فيه بعد ما سعي لطلب مساعدتهم له بنفسه
كمان بنشوف علاقة جديدة بدأت بين ستورم و بين غامبيت ستورم بقت بتحب غامبيت و بتاخد بالها منه و قاعدة جمبه دايمًا و دي بالنسبة ليا شخصيًا حاجة غير متوقعه بالمرة بس غامبيت زير نساء يعني و عاجب الستات في القصة المصورة جدًا فنتوقع اي واحدة تحبه عادي حتي و هو في غيبوبة بيشقط
كمان في العالم الجديد عندنا نسختين من دكتور هنري ماكوي المعروف بإسم الوحش لأن المقابل بتاعه في العالم الزمني الموازي و اللي كان من الأشرار ده قدر بطريقة ما ينقل نفسه لعالمنا و مش بس كده ده وصل للعالم بتاعنا من 20 سنة فاتوا و كمان المتحولين اليائسين بيعبدوه و بيسموه الأول و الصانع و ألقاب كثير كأنه هو اللي صانعهم بنفسه أعتقد هنري ماكوي النسخة الشريرة هيبقي له إسهامات عظيمة في القضاء علي فيروس الإرث اللي بيقتل المتحولين و كمان بقي بينتقل للبشر
أحداث كثير رائعة في مستقبل عالم إكس من بالذات الفرق الرئيسية اللي انا مش بقرأ غيرهم
و مستوي الكتابة و تلاوة القصة هيتطور اكثر و لكن لسه فيه شوط كبير جدًا محتاجين نمشيه لحد ما نوصل للمستوي المطلوب في الوقت اللي خلصت فيه ال 50 صفحة دول قرأت أول إمبارح 300 صفحة لمجرد ان الكتابة أحسن و مستوي القصص أحسن و أعلي و يشد اكثر فأحب الإكس من نفسها توصل للمستوي ده في يوم من الأيام عشان أخليها مشروع سنة رئيسي و أخلصها أخيرًا

In einem Anflug von Nostalgie hätte ich fast alle Sterne gegeben, so viele alte Bekannte aus so vielen Storys in einem Heft, angenehm verwoben von Lobdell und Nicieza, da wird man schon mal schwach und möchte übersehen, dass es eigentlich nur eine sehr gelungene Zusammenfassung samt kleinem Update ist. Auf jeden Fall ein ganz hervorragender Startpunkt um in die Welt der Mutanten einzusteigen.

A reasonable cleaning up of the Age of Apocalypse and bringing in events prior. Excalibur gets some mentions. Basically just a springboard for the “new” Marvel.
