A journey through an every woman's life
Sujata's women characters and their conflicts make this book unputdownable, I read it in about 20 hours straight.
The characters are relatable, their quirks real and their suffering palpable.
Without sounding scholarly or philosophic she manages to weave an intricate web of difficult choices women make every day, ordinary women, ordinary lives and this ordinariness lends it it's charm and pathos.
