It was okay. Love the characters. The magic. Beautiful. But it felt like this book was told as a story about a story. The bad guy went down too easily. It didn’t have any build up. It was a little chaotic and sometimes I’d have to go back a page to understand what had happened. Or it had big time skips. The ending was also too predictable because they basically fed you exactly what was going to happen.
