About the author

After working as an in-house journalist and editor in consumer electronics magazines, Ian Graham became a freelance writer. He has written more than 230 illustrated non-fiction books for children and teens, and contributed chapters to books including Dorling Kindersley’s Know it All and Big Ideas that Changed the World. He has a degree in applied physics and a postgraduate diploma in journalism.

The biggest flaw of this tiny book is that it is really outdated. In these times when even one year make huge difference in space exploration this book is really far from actual information. BUT as a book for someone who wants to just read a basic topics about space and exploration, mainly is a younger person and knows it's outdated....it's a great book.
I had it as a toilet reading, when I read one topic at a time that is always explained on one double-page.
Why for younger people? It does not go into depth at all. There are facts but really just a few on a page, a lot of pictures and every double-page is new topic. I enjoyed reading it tho and would appreciate it when the information would be today based.
