Valerie doesn’t want to call Madison her romantic rival, but how could she not? The woman is supposedly only best friends with her off-limits boss, beautiful and so nice. Then, a chance meeting throws her into a whirlwind friendship with the account’s biggest fan. Her feelings for Valerie goes from friendly to more… but can Valerie ever get over her crush on Madison’s best friend?

I was searching for a short audio book to listen to while playing sims and yes this was short. I loved the cover on scribd. But unfortunately it lacked for me depth, maybe because it was short, but some aspects played out really quickly and I was a little confused how we got from x to z. I wanted to like the main characters, their relationship and everything around them, but unfortunately with it being this short it sadly didnt deliver, but it was a quite enjoyable time.

Found on Scribe/Everand a lil while ago and finally got around to listening.

Is it the most amazing story? I wouldn't say so. But is it a fun and enjoyable one? Yes.

I loved the premise and was curious how these two were going to finally connect. While I understand the romance was fast paced, I don't feel like thats bad? Some romances IRL *are* pretty quick. & sometimes whether you like it or not you fall *hard*. I found both leads fun and neither annoyed me through my 2hr listen which is always a plus lol.

I loved how everything tied up in the end and just little things that felt relatable when trying to navigate relationships and esp. lgbt+ experiences~
