Derek a faithful, loving husband, who enjoys his occupation as a dentist, but his faithfulness to his wife Stephanie still isn't enough for her not to cheat on him. Wanting to clear his mind, Derek went to have a drink at a gentlemen's club, where he met Desire, who was heartless when it came to men. At an early age, she had vowed never to let a man break through the barrier that protected her heart.
Desire and Derek's acquaintance tested both of their morals and principles. When feelings and emotions get involved, can Desire hold her barrier up to protect her heart, and can Derek stay loyal to his broken marriage?

I was pleased with the novel. I was mad when it ended because it was showing I had more pages to read but it was a sneak peek of another book. I started reading that one too. I am waiting for part two of this book to come out so I can see what happens next.
