Hiro Mashima (Jap: 真島ヒロ) is a Japanese manga artist.
He gained success with his first serial Rave, published in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 1999 to 2005. His best-selling work, Fairy Tail, published in the same magazine from 2006 to 2017, became one of the best-selling manga series with over 72 million copies in print. Mashima began the currently ongoing Edens Zero in 2018.
Fairy Tail won the Kodansha Manga Award for shōnen manga in 2009, and Mashima was given the Harvey Awards International Spotlight award in 2017 and the Fauve Special Award at the 2018 Angoulême International Comics Festival.
Amazing Volume! Jinn and Kleene finally got so more backstory and also development. I'm glad to see all the Characters and their Ether Gears evolve! That cliffhanger tho...
The ending really isn't the best place to stop reading... but now I guess I understand why characters often wonder about the next volume in other mangas... Anyway, I can say that, overall, this series is better than the few others I have been reading. It follows a timeline and keeps developing the plot without dilly-dallying. It adds an interesting twist to some cliche concepts and presents them in a good way. However, there are some very unrealistic things in this series that constantly give me the urge to roll my eyes while reading. I guess reading manga and light novels is just not for me, huh?
I did say in another review that Mashima has his way with cliffhanger but wow… I hope sister is okay. Something I also noticed in this new series of his is the way darker path he takes compared to Fairy Tail. Yes there’s still morals such as friendship but I feel like the main antagonists are way more evil and like just feels the "antagonist" slot. Which can be a good thing to help for the development of the protagonists but it can also be considered as a lack of characterization. Either way this volume was full of emotions!

I do love that Jinn and Kleene got so much development and that is one thing I will give to most of these fights with the Ocean 6 is that while the members are kind of generic as we really do not learn much about them but each one does have a good conclusion as each member does get a huge power up. We also learn more about Oasis and Laguna as to why he left the group and joined Drakken Joe.
4/5 I’m really enjoying this arc. More big battles here including a neat back story chapter about Jinn’s past. Shiki and the others battle to reach Shura and save Witch. Meanwhile the Galactic Army and the resistance assault planet Nero 1.

Future Shiki and Noah, OverDrive Homura and Weisz, and the Wind Siblings with Rebecca in front on the cover of volume 18.
Avec la pause que j’ai faite j’avais oublié comment c’etait bien. Ce tome en particulier est vraiment cool avec de bons combats et pour une fois le fan service a pas pris trop de place. Vu la fin, j’ai hate de lire la suite.
That ending is stressing me out, I don't want anything bad to happen to my favorite character Witch. I Please, please don't die on me!! ( ≧Д≦) What's going to happen next? I really need to know...

Gawd older Shiki! I love how we're seeing a little bit more and more of our girl Rebecca and her abilities. There's so much to unpack with this one. So many emotions felt with all the battles.
